Digera muricata Mart, a plant having therapeutic characteristics that has been utilised traditionally, belongs to the Amaranthaceae family, and a promising source of specific natural products utilized as antioxidant, prophylactic, antimicrobial, anthelmintic, anti-diabetic, and allelopathic agent. In the present study, a biologically active phytosterol was isolated from Digera muricata Mart. The isolated compound was characterized by 13C, 1H NMR, FTIR, and HRMS. Characterization of the isolate was done by antimicrobial assay, and molecular docking. The antimicrobial potential of the isolated phytosterol (50 µl) against Streptococcus pyogenes was found to be maximum (ZOI-20.0 ± 1.0), followed by Streptococcus agalactiae (ZOI-11.3±1.5), Candida albicans (ZOI- 09.0 ± 1.0), Klebsiella pneumonia (ZOI-8.6 ± 1.5) and Escherichia coli (ZOI-8.6 ± 1.5). The molecular docking results indicate that the phytosterol binds to the receptor 1AI9 at the 32th and 58th positions; 1KZN receptor at the 76th position, the 5L3J receptor at the 46th (ASN) and 136th (ARG) position; 7WIJ receptor at the 419th (ARG) and 582th (ASP) and 585th (ASN) positions.

ChatGPT has been a revolutionizing AI Chatbot, that has impacted academia significantly. Although there has been a number of studies over the influence of AI and education, a focus towards why students use it is minimal. This study explores factors affecting student use of ChatGPT through a triangulation approach, blending exploratory, qualitative, and quantitative analyses. Through exploration of factors via prior literature and analysis of narratives by the respondents of qualitative analysis to measuring their relationships quantitatively using SEM techniques, the study identifies core reasons to use ChatGPT by students of higher education. The findings highlight the significance of six out of seven studied exogenous variables, demonstrating strong positive associations with students' intention to use ChatGPT and their actual engagement with the platform. These empirical results validate the importance of these factors in shaping students' interactions with ChatGPT, also revealing a previously undiscovered factor that enriches existing knowledge. By substantiating qualitative insights and establishing a robust quantitative model, it enhances students' comprehension of ChatGPT adoption in educational contexts, contributing significantly to the field's knowledge base and works as a guide for policymakers to effectively design strategies in order to get maximum benefit from the tool's usage in academia.

India, like other countries in the developing world, is suffering from the seemingly paradoxical trends of high economic growth amongst a certain section of the population, coupled with extreme poverty and underdevelopment amongst others. This situation of extreme, obscene and growing inequity is perhaps best characterized by the failure of these countries to achieve health goals such as lowered maternal mortality, infant mortality and rates of malnutrition. ‘Health for All’ indeed remains a distant dream. Meanwhile, there has been a shift in how this problem is described and approached. The positive slogan of ‘Health for All’ is slowly being replaced by the goal of ‘Universal Access to Health Care’., At first sight, these seem deceptively similar in intent and direction, but in fact they are fundamentally different.

Introduction: There is poor penetration of evidence-based maternal health care provided under national health programs in resource-poor underserved regions. A well-planned locally acceptable community-driven comprehensive health promotion strategy and quality health care delivery mechanism is necessary to improve the situation. Objective: The main objective was to find the gaps in the existing system and promote health literacy and health-seeking behavior. Methodology: 80,000 tribal population living in isolated conflict zone of Bastar district was covered for 5 years between 2012 and 2017. An integrated health-care plan was developed with community leaders, panchayat, and the local government to promote and provide quality evidence-based maternal health care. Available resources were mobilized and health technologies introduced. Results: Regular home visits, point of care diagnostics, identification of high-risk mothers and their timely referral, and behavioral change communication increased the trust of the community. It resulted in higher demand for evidence-based health interventions. The adolescent pregnancy rate (9 g% (third trimester) improved. Supervised births and high-risk referrals increased from 19.5% (2014) to 58% (2017) and 8.5% (2014) to 13.1% (2017), respectively. Although significant improvement was noted, key indicators continued to remain below rural Bastar (National Family Health Survey-4). Conclusion: Promotion of existing good practices, behavior change, health technologies, and evidence-based emergency care improved the maternal health status of the secluded and underserved tribal community, but persistent effort is needed to enable women access the quality maternal health services provided under National Health Mission.

Tumor hypoxia is a known driver of angiogenesis that also facilitates tumor growth. Moreover, poorly oxygenated central tumor area remains relatively radio or chemo resistant. HBO therapy is known to elevate the levels of dissolved oxygen and eliminates tumor hypoxia. It has been one of the modalities in cancer treatment; therefore its optimization is important. In this experimental study, no cancer enhancing effect was seen during the course of HBO therapy; however, post therapy there was an accelerated growth and progression of tumor. HBO treated mice lived shorter and the response to therapy was dose & tumor volume dependent. HBO therapy probably exert its effect on the cancer proliferating cells through multiple pathways such as increased DNA damage, apoptosis & geno-toxicity leading to slow cancer progression while post therapy tumorigenic effect could be due to impaired DNA repair mechanism, mutagenic effect & aneuploidy as well as altered blood supply & nutrients. Tumor growth reached plateau with time and this finding validated theoretical model predicting tumor reaching an asymptotic limit. While, marked asymmetry observed in tumor volume progression or cancer cell proliferation rate in each of the experimental C3H mouse suggested a need for an alternate small animal pre-clinical cancer therapeutic model.
