Abstract Study objective This study aims to assess the prevalence of both classic and non-classic pain sites in patients with ischemic heart disease, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and not disregarding non-classic symptoms. Methods This cross-sectional study included 100 patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease (CAD) who were admitted to two major hospitals in Syria. classic pain was identified as pain located in the precordial area, with or without radiation to the neck, jaw, left shoulder or arm. Patients’ demographics and previous medical history were documented to investigate any potential associations with non-classic pain. Results 62% of the patients experienced non-classic pain, while 12% had no precordial pain. For those without precordial pain, the most common pain site was the left chest (66.7%). Non-classic pain was significantly associated with smoking, with 72.2% of smokers experiencing non-classic pain compared to 35.7% non-smokers (p = 0.001). Additionally, patients with previous heart disease were more likely to have non-classic pain (71.7%), compared with patients with no history of heart disease (51.1%) (p = 0.03). Other factors such as age, sex, and diabetes were not statistically significant. Conclusion Non-classic pain is common, affecting 62% of individuals, primarily in the right shoulder, right arm, and back. This type of pain could be associated with smoking and prior heart disease. Misdiagnosing coronary artery disease can have serious consequences, as patients with non-classic symptoms may miss important pre-hospital procedures like ECG.

The aim of this research is to find out the different cultures of the classical and modern sea picking traditions on Gili Genting Island, Madura. The research method used is a comparative study by comparing the sea-picking rituals of Hindus and Muslims. Research data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, secondary data collection, and literacy studies carried out using purposive sampling. Interviews were carried out by asking in-depth open questions as well as giving questionnaires. Then, secondary data was obtained by studying literature from related research. Research results: The core ritual of the sea-picking tradition is a form of shifting cultural values that is adapted to the diversity of local communities or is called the differentiation of classical and modern sea-picking traditions. This can be understood as a development of religious knowledge in society and a form of openness of coastal communities to the religious teachings they adhere to.

Objectives With large patient population and complement inhibitors naïve background, the characteristics patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in China have not been well studied, especially for different subtypes. Methods We retrospectively reviewed patients with complete data who visited Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) from 2009 to 2019 and had been followed up for more than 2 years. Results Five hundred and twelve patients were enrolled including 56.3% males and 43.7% females. The median age at disease onset was 33 (9∼80) years. Most were aged 21∼40 years (50.6%). 52.1%, 46.3% and 1.6% of the patients had classic PNH, bone marrow failure (BMF)/PNH and subclinical PNH, respectively. Symptoms of classic PNH were associated with hemolysis, whereas bleeding was more common in BMF/PNH patients. Classic PNH had higher survival rate, larger PNH clone size, higher lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) level and lower ferritin level than BMF/PNH. The retranslation of Russian classics into Italian in the last thirty years is a topic of no little importance, for at least two reasons. On the one hand, this phenomenon mirrors a literary text translation activity that is still alive and in great evolution. On the other hand, an assessment that shows which works of Russian literature have appeared in new translations and which have remained ‘behind the scenes’ can be a useful orientation for the future, for the benefit of publishing houses, translators and scholars. The perspective of this report is therefore not to address specific translation problems, nor to give indications about editorial strategies about Russian literature. Instead, it is to review the main retranslated authors, also highlighting those who have not yet had new translations, and to draw conclusions that may be of use to the scholarly community and its relations with the publishing industry.

Abstract Canada's boreal forests and tundra ecosystems are responding to unprecedented climate change with implications for the global carbon (C) cycle and global climate. However, our ability to model the response of Canada's terrestrial ecosystems to climate change is limited and there has been no comprehensive, process‐based assessment of Canada's terrestrial C cycle. We tailor the Canadian Land Surface Scheme Including Biogeochemical Cycles (CLASSIC) to Canada and evaluate its C cycling performance against independent reference data. We utilize skill scores to assess model performance against reference data alongside benchmark scores that quantify the level of agreement between the reference data sets to aid in interpretation. Our results demonstrate CLASSIC's sensitivity to prescribed vegetation cover. They also show that the addition of five region‐specific Plant functional types (PFTs) improves CLASSIC's skill at simulating the Canadian C cycle. CLASSIC performs well when tailored to Canada, falls within the range of the reference data sets, and meets or exceeds the benchmark scores for most C cycling processes. New region‐specific land cover products, well‐informed PFT parameterizations, and more detailed reference data sets will facilitate improvements to the representation of the terrestrial C cycle in regional and global land surface models. Incorporating a parameterization for boreal disturbance processes and explicitly representing peatlands and permafrost soils will improve CLASSIC's future performance in Canada and other boreal regions. This is an important step toward a comprehensive process‐based assessment of Canada's terrestrial C cycle and evaluating Canada's net C balance under climate change.

Ovarian cancers encompass a group of neoplasms originating from germinal tissues and exhibiting distinct clinical, pathological, and molecular features. Among these, epithelial ovarian cancers (EOCs) are the most prevalent, comprising five distinct tumor histotypes. Notably, high-grade serous ovarian cancers (HGSOCs) represent the majority, accounting for over 70% of EOC cases. Due to their silent and asymptomatic behavior, HGSOCs are generally diagnosed in advanced stages with an evolved and complex genomic state, characterized by high intratumor heterogeneity (ITH) due to chromosomal instability that distinguishes HGSOCs. Histologically, these cancers exhibit significant morphological diversity both within and between tumors. The histologic patterns associated with solid, endometrioid, and transitional (SET) and classic subtypes of HGSOCs offer prognostic insights and may indicate specific molecular profiles. The evolution of HGSOC from primary to metastasis is typically characterized by clonal ITH, involving shared or divergent mutations in neoplastic sub-clones within primary and metastatic sites. Disease progression and therapy resistance are also influenced by non-clonal ITH, related to interactions with the tumor microenvironment and further genomic changes. Notably, significant alterations occur in nonmalignant cells, including cancer-associated fibroblast and immune cells, during tumor progression. This review provides an overview of the complex nature of HGSOC, encompassing its various aspects of intratumor heterogeneity, histological patterns, and its dynamic evolution during progression and therapy resistance.

Проанализированы причины увлечения подростков и молодежи развлекательной шоу-продукцией и отторжения многими из них образцов серьезной классической музыки, формирующей истинный музыкальный вкус. Обосновано определение музыкального вкуса как способности слушать, слышать и наслаждаться ценной в художественном отношении музыкой, вкуса как одного из элементов триединой задачи занятий музыкой в школе – формирование интереса к жизни через увлеченность музыкой, творческого художественно-образного мышления. Рекомендовано слушать с подростками не только классическую музыку, но и более ценные в художественном отношении образцы поп-музыки, обсуждать их достоинства и недостатки, что позволит совершенствовать вкус и избегать противостояния учителя и детей, классической музыки и музыки современных направлений и жанров. Приведены количественные и качественные результаты изучения студентами музыкальных потребностей подростков как одного из показателей уровня сформированности музыкальных вкусов. Интерпретация результатов подтвердила зависимость уровня сформированности музыкального вкуса от систематических занятий музыкой, репертуара, на котором воспитывается музыкальный вкус детей, от уровня профессионализма педагога-музыканта.

BackgroundCongenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) is a rare renal tumour in children, the most common kidney tumour in the neonatal period. It can be divided into three types, classical, cellular and mixed.Case presentationA 31-year-old Chinese woman had no apparent foetal abnormality in regular prenatal care during the first and second trimesters. At 33 weeks of gestation, a solid mass in the right kidney was noted with echoes similar to liver and hypervascularity. It grew larger during late pregnancy. The infant was transferred to have a radical nephrectomy on the 9th day after birth. The postoperative histopathological result indicated classical CMN.ConclusionCMN could be detected prenatally, mainly during late pregnancy. The postnatal outcome is good.

Objective To explore the feasibility of curettage combined with fenestration for jaw classic ameloblastoma treatment and to provide a basis for improving the treatment of classic ameloblastoma. Methods Twenty-two patients with jaw classic ameloblastoma admitted to Liuzhou People’s Hospital from 2016 to 2019 were selected. They were treated by curettage combined with fenestration. Monthly follow-up visits were conducted after surgery, and orthopantomography was performed for reexamination to observe the recovery of bone and whether there was recurrence. Results Tumors were completely scraped off in 22 patients, no pathological fracture occurred, and no wound infection occurred after surgery. After 1 to 3 years of follow-up, 19 patients showed excellent bone recovery in the original tumor area, and no recurrence was observed. Three patients relapsed and underwent a second curettage combined with fenestration, and the bone at the original tumor site recovered well. During the 12-month follow-up, no tumor recurrence was observed. After the second curettage combined with open surgery, the bone at the original tumor site recovered well. Eight patients underwent dental implants to repair dentition defects one year after surgery. Conclusion Curettage combined with fenestration is a convenient and effective treatment for jaw classic ameloblastoma.

Revolution is one of the most ambiguous concepts in the history of thought. There are several reasons why a clear definition of the revolution cannot be made. First, scholars point to a different side of the revolution. Second, the revolution is used as an umbrella concept. Revolution is used as a form of political violence that includes rebellion, coup, and civil war. These two factors make it difficult to give a clear definition of the revolution. In this work, we will propose an alternative reading of revolution to overcome these problems, at least to some extent. This reading draws attention that the revolution has two fundamental usages: classical usage and modern usage. The classic use of the revolution also includes other forms of political violence, such as rebellion and insurrection. The classical use of the revolution we have seen since Ancient Egypt continued until the 18th century. With the 18th century, the concept of revolution reached its modern content and started to be used in the sense of creating a new society based on the radical rejection of the past. The modern content of the revolution may be more revealing in showing the difference between the revolution and other forms of political violence. We believe that such a reading of revolution can offer a more satisfactory answer to what revolution is, by sharply revealing the differences between revolution and other forms of political violence.

Purpose: Orthostatic hypotension (OH) is a common disorder, especially among hospitalised patients. Classic OH is defined as occurring 3 or less minutes of orthostatic stress, and delayed OH as occurring after 3 min of stress. We aimed to compare clinical characteristics and prognosis between inpatients with classic vs. delayed OH. Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of data from 358 inpatients, aged ≥60 years, who were evaluated for the occurrence of OH at the initial phase of ambulation in four previous prospective studies in our department. Demographic, clinical and prognostic data were compared between patients with (n = 191) vs. without (n = 167) OH, classic (n = 138) vs. delayed (n = 53) OH and seated (n = 115) vs. standing (n = 76) OH. Abstract Heat stroke (HS) is a fatal disease caused by thermal damage in the body, and it has a very high mortality rate. In 2015, the People’s Liberation Army Professional Committee of Critical Care Medicine published the first expert consensus on HS in China, Expert consensus on standardized diagnosis and treatment for heat stroke. With an increased understanding of HS and new issues that emerged during the HS treatment in China in recent years, the 2015 consensus no longer meet the requirements for HS prevention and treatment. It is necessary to update the consensus to include the latest research evidence and establish a new consensus that has broader coverage, is more practical and is more in line with China’s national conditions. This new expert consensus includes new concept of HS, recommendations for laboratory tests and auxiliary examinations, new understanding of diagnosis and differential diagnosis, On-site emergency treatment and In-hospital treatment, translocation of HS patients and prevention of HS.

Climate change is rapidly altering composition, structure, and functioning of the boreal biome, across North America often broadly categorized into ecoregions. The resulting complex changes in different ecoregions present a challenge for efforts to accurately simulate carbon dioxide (CO _2 ) and energy exchanges between boreal forests and the atmosphere with terrestrial ecosystem models (TEMs). Eddy covariance measurements provide valuable information for evaluating the performance of TEMs and guiding their development. Here, we compiled a boreal forest model benchmarking dataset for North America by harmonizing eddy covariance and supporting measurements from eight black spruce ( Picea mariana )-dominated, mature forest stands. The eight forest stands, located in six boreal ecoregions of North America, differ in stand characteristics, disturbance history, climate, permafrost conditions and soil properties. By compiling various data streams, the benchmarking dataset comprises data to parameterize, force, and evaluate TEMs. Specifically, it includes half-hourly, gap-filled meteorological forcing data, ancillary data essential for model parameterization, and half-hourly, gap-filled or partitioned component flux data on CO _2 (net ecosystem production, gross primary production [GPP], and ecosystem respiration [ER]) and energy (latent [LE] and sensible heat [H]) and their daily aggregates screened based on half-hourly gap-filling quality criteria. We present a case study with the Canadian Land Surface Scheme Including Biogeochemical Cycles (CLASSIC) to: (1) demonstrate the utility of our dataset to benchmark TEMs and (2) provide guidance for model development and refinement. Model skill was evaluated using several statistical metrics and further examined through the flux responses to their environmental controls. Our results suggest that CLASSIC tended to overestimate GPP and ER among all stands. Model performance regarding the energy fluxes (i.e., LE and H) varied greatly among the stands and exhibited a moderate correlation with latitude. We identified strong relationships between simulated fluxes and their environmental controls except for H, thus highlighting current strengths and limitations of CLASSIC.

Lifshitz; 3) To ground my opinion that the ideology of socialist realism in the 1960-ies is also anti-modern; 4) To expand the analysis with a brief introduction of Hans Sedlmayr’s attitude, and to explain why it is anti-modern as well; 5) To give an answer to the question what the social function of the anti-modern attitude is. I use a critical comparative approach to the original sources, asking for the social functions of the analysed concepts. The paper is a part of a monograph in progress on the works of Emil Staiger and on some anti-modern concepts in the reflexion on literature and on visual art in West and in the East of Europe in the 20th century.

From the beginning of pre-school in France (1887), teachers have been using formula tales with their young pupils without any prescription in curriculums. That tradition shows that preoccupations have been, for a teacher, to adjust narrative stories to a real expertise on young children: Andre Petitat in Geneva and his team have proven that formula tales are closely adapted to child development. We will explore two editorial initiatives, “À petits petons” published by Didier jeunesse and the collection “Narramus”, by Retz: we shall put into perspective the literary and artistic quality of the works, how they were related to traditions and educational use, in a period where the importance of culture for all is being highlighted.

Changing managing style in the middle of a project cycle has become a highly discussed topic. Most business enterprises consider it a risky process and therefore resist doing it. In our research, we aim to test the possibility of changing management style in the course of a project from a theoretical point of view. Normally, the classic waterfall is considered as an obvious project management style, while a change would mean a shift to the agile management style. Switching between the classic and agile management style during one project is an area which needs deeper consideration. Since there is a lack of documented samples, a questionnaire was prepared to determine if this switch is possible. The data were collected through an anonymous online survey and controlled by the 4 level scale to avoid concentration in a medium answer (5 Likert scheme). Taken mainly from SMEs, the survey results show that there is a positive overall sign that a transition between classic and agile management style over the project life cycle is possible, but only in the areas suitable for agile management. By analyzing the 119 responses of project managers and using the Fisher’s exact test, we have shown that it is possible to change management style during a project. The change increases the competitiveness of SMEs in order to determine how to proceed in the implementation of projects. The research should continue with the monitoring of a real project which is undertaking the switch from the classic to the agile approach.

This paper aims to explore the paradigm shift in the interpretation of the Qur'an in the classical and contemporary eras in the path of interpretation of Ibn Kathir and Fazlur Rahman. The focus in this study examines the causes of shifts in interpretation and contextualization of the interpretation model. The type of research is library research so that in this study using qualitative (descriptive-analytical) research, it is research that describes the object to be critically examined, and looks for the roots of the character's thoughts. The approach that I want to use in this study is historical-analytical, that is, according to historical roots analytically the shift in interpretation occurs. The results of this study indicate that, the interpretation of interpretation in the classical and contemporary era of interpretation is caused by the shifting paradigm, namely the birth of a new methodological concept to prove the suitability between text and social relaity. The argumentation of Ibn Katsir's interpretation of the "Classical Era" The main characteristic of his interpretation model is the textual pattern based on the interpretation of bil ma'tsur. High-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) is among the deadliest gynecological malignancies. The acquired resistance to platinum-based therapies and the intrinsic heterogeneity of the disease contribute to the low survival rate. To improve patients’ outcomes, new combinatorial approaches able to target different tumor vulnerabilities and enhance the efficacy of the current therapies are required. AKT inhibitors are promising antineoplastic agents able to act in synergy with PARP inhibitors, but the spectrum of patients who can benefit from this combination is unclear, since the role of the three different isoforms of AKT is still unknown. Here, we study the expression of AKT isoforms on a retrospective cohort of archive tissue by RT-droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) analyzing their association with the clinicopathological features of patients. Based on AKT1/AKT2 and AKT1/AKT3 ratios, we define four AKT classes which were related to patients’ survival, tumor morphology and BRCA1 expression. Moreover, our results show that high AKT3 expression levels were frequently associated with tumors having classic features, a low number of mitoses and the presence of psammoma bodies. Overall, our study obtains new insights on AKT isoforms and their associations with the clinicopathological features of HGSOC patients. These evidences could help to better define the subsets of patients who can benefit from AKT and PARP inhibitors therapy in future clinical trials.

The prospect of recognizing the ultimate is a matter of interpretation. As such, hermeneutics is used as a framework for describing the interactions of self, language, and the other (whether culturally other or ultimately other). Questioning whether religious ultimacy can be recognized across religious boundaries is based on a mistaken assumption that differences between religions are qualitatively different than differences within a religion. Hermeneutically speaking, intra-communal difference and inter-communal difference are of the same kind. If humans can negotiate the former, they can negotiate the latter. Recognizing ultimacy is an intersubjective act of phronēsis, or practical wisdom. As such, it cannot be explained in any detail apart from the concrete particulars of each encounter. Below is an account of recognizing the Ultimate, analyzed into four explanatory ways: its immediate quality (uncanniness), its vehicle (the classic), its cultural-linguistic mechanism (metaphorical appropriation), and its ontological implications (a signifying cosmos). Each way offers a different type of explanation as to how a person can recognize another religion’s ultimate. I begin with the most concrete: spontaneous feeling, and work my way to more speculative implications.

В статье рассказывается о проблемах подготовки в России специалистов по танцевальномузыкальной терапии. Для этого нужны новые программы, учебники и учебные пособия. В них должен быть учтен мировой и особенно, русский опыт лечения многих болезней классическим танцем. Автор указывает на примеры лечения танцем в Древней Греции. Так, великий Сократ уже в зрелом возрасте занимался танцами для того чтобы не иметь проблем со здоровьем. Античные врачи танцем избавляли от многих заболеваний. Русские хореографы танцем лечили многие физические недуги, Психологический эффект считался неизбежным дополнительным результатом такого лечения. Автор приводит рецепт лечения стопы, данный в гениальном труде А. Я. Вагановой «Основы классического танца», а также пример практического опыта якутского педагога Н. С. Посельской по коррекции, с помощью классического экзерсиса, пропорций и физических параметров учеников хореографических училищ. За время эксперимента у выпускников балетных училищ длина ног на 10-15 см превысила такие же измерения у воспитанников общеобразовательных школ.

La aplicación del método de valoración contextual al análisis del registro funerario de Monte Albán (Oaxaca, México) aporta nuevas evidencias sobre la huella material del colapso clásico en las ofrendas de los entierros mesoamericanos. The article presents Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as a classical work within the genre of fantasy, or literature of nonsense. The classification is made according to the “five procedures,” postulated for the genre by the American poet and scholar, Susan Stewart. From the point of view of the translator, the procedures make it possible to define the dominant of the book as the tension between the sane protagonist and the mad world of Wonderland. The criterion of dominant, combined by requirements imposed by double readership, makes it possible to characterize Polish translations of the book, which make a translation series. What becomes a challenge for the translator is the wide context of the book, which changes over time. It is possible to trace, within the series, some general tendencies, as well as to demonstrate that, ultimately, translating Alice becomes “translating Alice.”

Parnas which equals "al-fannlil-fann" or "al-barnasiyah" in Arabic and "art for art" in Persian, is a literary criticism school of thought and the borderline between romanticism and symbolism which has, unlike romanticism, neither compromised the poem for personal feelings and adopts it as a tool for expression of the inner perceptions and verve of the poet, nor, like symbolism, is of complexity and ambiguity, but it is based on the belief that poem is beautiful in its own capacity and it should be attached its proper value. This research aimsto survey this school of thought in the beliefs of one of the prominent Lebanese poets, Amin Nakhlahand explain its various aspects. In this research, the aim is to express the objectives of the poem in the views of Amin Nakhlah due to the fact that as a Parnassian poet, he aims to devote himself to the mere beauty of the poem and no other specific objectives should be sought in it. In this essay some of his odes such as "al-bulbul","al-shallal" and "al-habib" have been examined and it has been concluded that Amin Nakhlah is a structuralist classic poet who attaches special importance to the form of words and way of expression, not to its nature.In the meantime, itrepresents the ivory tower literature which elaborates on issues such as love, bulbul (nightingale) and the like.

The music of Walt Disney’s classic films was written by a number of hand-picked composers who, working with Disney, ingeniously crafted the music to fit animation and bring musical inspiration to the homes of viewers leaving America and the world with a beloved legacy. Though Walt Disney was a cartoonist and not a musician, music was given a distinct, almost central, role in the creation of his cartoons. Special techniques such as Mickey-mousing or the click track were developed by composers and used to synchronize this music and animation. These processes really began with Disney and have formed the basis for all music synchronized to cartoon animation. From the very beginning with Mickey Mouse, to The Silly Symphonies, to the beloved classic Disney movies music has been an ever-present and developing center. Walt Disney, though not a composer himself, hired a number of key composers from which we have many cherished melodies. Unlike most other cartoons Disney’s were focused on using music of the classical style rather than the popular style. The music from a number of classical composers was used or drawn upon as a model. Disney had a special purpose for the music in his animated films. Most of his films contained a story other than the music, but his movie Fantasia really seeks to find the purpose music itself has with visual interpretation. College students have done research on these ideas of simply listening to music or listening while seeing an image. All of Disney’s animated films would not be the classics they are without the music that holds them together. Disney music has become recognized as its own individual art form. It has inspired America to dream and to think more deeply than realized. Walt Disney’s indirect effect on music history may be considered a stretch, but there is no doubt that the music developed through Disney Bros. has left an inspiration on the hearts of Americans.

The state of method of preparation of skiers-racing drivers is considered to participating in races classic and skating styles of movement. 30 skilled sportsmen took part in an experiment. 60 leading trainers and skilled sportsmen took part in the questionnaire questioning. Certainly, that with introduction of skiatlon the method of preparation of sportsmen changed to the program of competitions. The factor analysis of indexes which influence on a sporting result is rotined. The contribution of different constituents is set to the sporting result. Model descriptions of sportsmen which allow to show high results in races in skiatlon are developed. It is set that on pattens considerable differences have classic and skating style of movement in all of kinematics and dynamic descriptions. The anthropometric models of skilled skiers-racing drivers, which successfully come forward in competitions different styles of movement on pattens, are set.

This paper reviews the major contributions to the high impedance fault (HIF) detection field throughout a 48-year period, from 1960 up to 2008, from classic approaches to heuristic algorithms. After surveying around 225 papers in the field, the amount of existing works for each method is identified and classified. The paper concludes with comparative tables and graphs demonstrating the frequency of each high impedance fault detection methods, and so it can be used as a guideline for researchers in this field.

A los clásicos los hacen los lectores, con el paso del tiempo y con las lecturas y relecturas que se van sucediendo de una generación a otra. Pero esas lecturas no son producto del azar. Al contrario, hay en los textos que llegan a convertirse en clásicos un misterioso atractivo, que los mantiene más o menos vigentes en las distintas épocas y que les impide sufrir el desgaste de tantos otros textos que no tardan en ser olvidados. Y los lectores no son los receptores pasivos de un discurso inmutable, sino que en cada nueva lectura y en cada nueva circunstancia histórica asignan a los clásicos una significación y un valor leve o profundadamente distintos de los que habían tenido antes.No text is a 'classic' when published for the first time. Classics are done by the readers through the passing of time. Though their readings and re-readings ensue from one generation to the another, they are not result of a ramdom selection. On the contrary, the texts which become classics bear a mysterious attraction that keeps them from suffering time's wearing out and being forgoten. Readers are not passive recipients of an immutable discourse. And in every new historic circumstance when a new reading is done, it assigns a significantly or just slightly different value to the classics from the original one they had.

The poetry of the Guatemalan poet Aida Toledo, from its beginning, breaks away from the masculine and feminine images created and recreated through centuries by the owner of words and power, man. Toledo, as a consequence of her reflections on gender, questions, changes and pulverizes certain qualities considered to be unique and essential in defining each of the sexes. The poet starts with the Greek myths, as she considerers them to be the sacred pillars in building the Western Culture. Aida Toledo, not satisfied with using the sword of extermination against the eternal masculine and feminine values, uses the ashes from that fire as fertilizer to sprout new life, a life that time and space will shape into new beings, new male and female Minotaur.

In scholarship on Persian book arts, paintings have tended to be organized according to a rise-and-fall model. Within this overarching framework, the Ilkhanid period represents the birth of painting and the Qajar era its supposed decline, while Timurid and Safavid painting mark a high point for the development of pictorial arts in Iran. As a result, scholars have used the term ‘classical’ to describe both Timurid and Safavid painting. The many definitions of ‘classical’ – which alternatively engage with aesthetic criteria, time periods, numerical output, systems of patronage, artistic models, and stylistic imitations – raise a number of significant questions, however. This study highlights the problematic uses of the term in scholarship on Persian manuscript painting. Moreover, by examining a series of interrelated Ilkhanid, Timurid, and Safavid paintings of the Prophet Muhammad in particular, it seeks to explore alternative models for studying the history of Persian manuscript painting, itself too diverse and self-referential to be confined to a linear account.

We made in this article a brief and didactic route by four cinematographic ways to watch. We were centered for it in the analysis of four types of cinema: the classic cinema, the manierista cinema, the cinema of vanguard and the postclassic cinema

Situs Medowo adalah sebuah sisa pusat hunian kuna yang bercorak Indonesia klasik. Temuan keramik import menandai periodesasi situs yang kurang lebih sejaman dengan fase Majapahit. Pada survei sistematik di permukaan Situs Medowo yang dilakukan baik pada tahun 1987 maupun 1990, tulang (hewan) merupakan temuan yang minor sifatnya (Kusumohartono, 1990). Namun penyingkapan lahan secra vertikal menunjukkan bahwa akumulasi tulang di bawah permukaan tanah cukup tinggi frekuensinya.
