With the continuous increase of electrification in seaports, the single energy supply mode of seaport microgrid is evolving towards multi-energy integration. Aimed to achieve the goals of peak carbon and carbon neutrality, an optimal carbon trading mechanism-based allocation scheme of hybrid electric and thermal storage system is proposed to further maximize the economic and environmental benefits. First, the integrated energy system model of a seaport is established, incorporating a scheme within the carbon trading market. Then, a bi-level optimization framework is proposed, in which the upper layer is utilized to optimize the allocation of the hybrid energy storage system and the lower layer is employed to optimize the operation. Afterwards, a combination algorithm of the mesh adaptive direct search and the adaptive chaotic particle swarm optimization is developed to solve the proposed problem. Finally, the real-world data of Tianjing port is utilized to verify the method. The numerical results demonstrate that with the help of the proposed method, both the cost and carbon emissions are dramatically reduced.

The pollution of radionuclides is extremely harmful to the human environment, and it is of great significance to study its feasible treatment methods. There are few studies on the removal of Sr2+ by the combination of microorganisms and minerals. This experiment constructed the bacteria-mineral system with the previously screened thiobacillus denitrificans and montmorillonite, and liquid ion chromatography, multifunctional X-ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and other methods were used to characterize pH and SO42- changes in the system and the removal ability and curing ability of the montmorillonite-thiobacillus denitrificans system(Mont-TD) on Sr2+ in solution. The results show that the Mont-TD system has a high removal effect on Sr2+. Adding 6 g montmorillonite and 1∶100 bacterial solution to the medium with Sr2+ concentration of 1 000 mg/L and 150 mL, after 30 d, the removal rate of Sr2+ reaches 93.2%, the solidification rate reaches 71.1%, and SrSO4 crystals are produced in the product. By constructing the Mont-TD system, the effective removal of Sr2+ in the solution is achieved, and part of it is stably solidified. Montmorillonite-thiobacillus denitrificans system can provide an idea for the treatment of strontium ion pollution in the environment.

Digital implant guides have enabled "repair⁃oriented" implant restoration to become a reality by allowing an implant to be designed for an ideal site, maximizing the use of existing alveolar bone, and increasing the predictabili⁃ ty of the restorative effect. This paper reviews the classification of digital guides and the related factors affecting the ac⁃ curacy of digital guides to provide a reference for clinical doctors in practical applications. Digital guides can be divid⁃ ed into the categories of mucosal support, bone support, dental support and mixed support according to the retention mode. The manufacture and use of digital implant guides involve a series of processes, such as data acquisition, design and manufacture of the implant guide, and guided surgery. The accuracy of digital implant guides depends on all accu⁃ mulated and interactive errors involved in the process from data acquisition to surgery. According to the process of guide plate fabrication and implant placement, errors in all aspects can be reduced to improve the accuracy of guide plate application.

Objective To prepare the La⁃doped TiO2 film on the surface of 3Y⁃TZP ceramics in order to observe its antibacterial properties, providing an experimental basis for the application of antibacterial zirconia ceramics in the clin⁃ ic. Method A cylindrical 3Y⁃TZP specimen with a diameter of 20 mm and a height of 3 mm was prepared. The sol⁃ gel method was used to prepare 1% lanthanum (La)⁃doped TiO2 sol, and the La⁃TiO2 film⁃3Y⁃TZP ceramic was prepared by dip coating on the surface of 3Y⁃TZP. The TiO2 thin film⁃3Y⁃TZP ceramic was prepared by adding no lanthanum ni⁃ trate solution in the same way. The surface morphology of 3Y⁃TZP ceramic specimens (3Y⁃TZP group), TiO2 thin film⁃3Y ⁃TZP ceramic specimens (TiO2 film group), and La⁃TiO2 thin film⁃3Y⁃TZP ceramic specimens (La⁃TiO2 film group) was observed by scanning electron microscopy, and photocatalysis, antibacterial and cytotoxicity experiments were carried out. For the photocatalytic experiment, four specimens were randomly selected from the La⁃TiO2 film group and TiO2 film group to observe the degradation rate of methylene blue at different time points under sunlight. In the antimicrobial experiment, five specimens were randomly selected from the La⁃TiO2 film group, TiO2 film group and 3Y⁃TZP group. The antimicrobial activity of each group was tested using the bacteriostatic circle method, and the bacteriostatic dis⁃ tance of each group was compared. In the cytotoxicity experiment, three samples were randomly selected from the La⁃ TiO2 film group, TiO2 film group and 3Y ⁃ TZP group (negative control group), and the extracts were prepared. Here, 0.064% phenol solution were served as the positive control group. Morphological observation of L ⁃ 929 cells in four groups was performed after 3 d of culture. Cell viability and relative cell proliferation were measured by MTT assay. Re⁃ sults La⁃TiO2 films with uniform distribution can be prepared on a 3Y⁃TZP surface by the dipping⁃drawing method. Photocatalytic experiments showed that the degradation rate of methylene blue in the La⁃TiO2 film group was (41.2 ± 1.5)% in daylight for 2 hours, which was higher than that in TiO2 film group (36.5 ± 2.4)%. A significant difference was noted between the two groups (t＝3.321, P＝0.016). The antimicrobial experiment showed that the antimicrobial dis⁃ tance of La⁃TiO2 group was (0.34 ± 0.08) mm, which was larger than that of TiO2 group (0.12 ± 0.02) mm. No obvious an⁃ timicrobial circle was noted in 3Y⁃TZP group, and the antimicrobial distance of the La⁃TiO2 film group was larger than that of TiO2 film group (F＝63.798, P < 0.001). Cytotoxicity test showed that the relative proliferation rate of cells in La⁃ TiO2 film group was (89.5 ± 1.3)%, and the cytotoxicity rating was grade 1. Significant differences were noted among the four groups (F＝68.250, P < 0.001). Conclusion The La⁃doped TiO2 film can improve its photocatalytic activity and enhance the antibacterial activity of 3Y⁃TZP without obvious cytotoxicity.

Let V be a smooth variety. A hypersurface arrangement 𝓜 in V is a union of smooth hypersurfaces, which locally looks like a union of hyperplanes. We say 𝓜 is free if all these local models can be chosen to be free hyperplane arrangements. In this paper, we use Saito’s criterion to study the freeness of hypersurface arrangements consisting of hyperplanes and spheres, and construct the bases for the derivation modules explicitly.

Abstract Introduction Acute leukemias very rarely present with jaundice. Herein we report a case of precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that presented with jaundice in an adult. Case presentation A 44-year-old Hispanic man presented with right upper quadrant abdominal pain and jaundice. His initial blood work revealed pancytopenia and hyperbilirubinemia. Direct bilirubin was more than 50% of the total. His imaging studies were unremarkable except for hepatomegaly. All blood screening tests for various hepatocellular etiologies were normal. A diagnosis of precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia was made upon liver biopsy. It also showed lymphocytic infiltration of the hepatic parenchyma leading to bile stasis. The diagnosis was subsequently confirmed upon bone marrow biopsy. The patient was treated with a hyperfractionated cyclophosphamide/vincristine/doxorubicin/dexamethasone regimen. Conclusion Acute lymphoblastic leukemia should be one of the differential diagnoses that should be considered when initial work-up for jaundice is inconclusive. Some cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia have been reported in both adults and children to have presented with the initial manifestation of jaundice, but only a few had no radiographic evidence of biliary obstruction. Such presentation can pose a serious diagnostic dilemma for clinicians. This manuscript attempts to highlight it. Moreover, we believe that if acute lymphoblastic leukemia presentations similar to this case continue to be reported in adults or children, a specific immunophenotypic expression and cytogenetic abnormality may be found to be associated with hepatic infiltration by leukemia. This may substantially contribute to the further understanding of the pathophysiology of this hematologic disease.

Abstract Introduction Choriocarcinoma is a highly malignant tumor of trophoblastic origin. Most cases present within one year of the antecedent pregnancy (molar or non-molar). However, very rarely, choriocarcinoma can develop from germ cells or from dedifferentiation of endometrial carcinoma into choriocarcinoma. This article concerns a case of choriocarcinoma developing 38 years after the patient's last pregnancy and 23 years after menopause. Case presentation A 73-year-old African-American woman presented with a three-week history of vaginal bleeding. A vaginal mass was seen on pelvic examination. Ultrasonography showed a thickened complex endometrial echo. Her β-human chorionic gonadotrophin level was found to be elevated (2,704,040 mIU/mL). Vaginal and uterine biopsies were suggestive of choriocarcinoma. Immunohistochemistry tests were positive for β-human chorionic gonadotrophin as well as cytokeratin and negative for octamer binding transcription factor 3/4 and α-fetoprotein, supporting the diagnosis of choriocarcinoma. A combination of etoposide, methotrexate, and dactinomycin, followed by cyclophosphamide and vincristine (the so-called EMA/CO regimen) was initiated. After seven cycles of chemotherapy, her β-human chorionic gonadotrophin level dropped below 5 mIU/mL. Our patient is being followed up at our oncology institute. Conclusions We report an extremely rare case of choriocarcinoma arising 23 years after menopause. A postmenopausal woman presenting with vaginal bleed from a mass and β-human chorionic gonadotrophin elevation should be evaluated by immunohistochemical analysis to rule out the possibilities of a germ cell origin of the tumor or dedifferentiation of an epithelial tumor. Absence of octamer binding transcription factor 3/4, α-fetoprotein and CD-30 staining helps in exclusion of most germ cell tumors. DNA polymorphism studies can be used to differentiate between gestational and non-gestational tumor origin. These require fresh tissue samples and are time consuming. Finally, the effective first-line therapy for β-human chorionic gonadotrophin-producing high-risk gestational as well as non-gestational trophoblastic tumors is combination chemotherapy (the EMA/CO regimen). Therefore, treatment should be commenced when a potential diagnosis of metastatic trophoblastic tumor is being considered.
