Purpose: To investigate the difference in metabolites between Yangshan honey peach and Changzhou, Nanhui and Xinyi honey peach using a non-target metabolomics approach. Methods: The metabolomics profile of Yangshan honey peach was investigated by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF-MS/MS) with principal component analysis (PCA), and differential analysis of metabolites and metabolic pathways. Results: A total of 74 metabolites were identified, and the predominant metabolites in the pulp of honey peach were neochlorogenic acid, chlorogenic acid, procyanidin B2, epicatechin, catechin and L-malic acid. Differential metabolites were successfully selected between Yangshan honey peach and Changzhou, Nanhui and Xinyi honey peach. A total of 10 differential metabolites including madecassic acid were found in Changzhou honey peach, 13 differential metabolites including procyanidin B3 in Nanhui honey peach, and 15 differential metabolites including procyanidin C1 in Xinyi honey peach. These compounds were potential biomarkers to distinguish Yangshan honey peach from honey peaches from other regions. Metabolic pathway analyses identified a total of 11 differential metabolic pathways, with significant differences in the metabolism of plant polyphenols such as quercetin, organic acids such as cis-aconitic acid, and amino acids such as L-valine being observed among honey peaches from different regions, which may affect the antioxidant properties, sweetness, and aroma of fresh peaches. Conclusion: Non-target metabolomics is feasible for the identification of honey peaches from different regions, which can provide a theoretical basis for the identification of Yangshan honey peach, and is of practical significance for the protection of the specialty industry of Yangshan honey peach.

In this article, the epidemiology, molecular mechanism of occurrence and development, risk factors, and treatment of diabetic microvascular complications such as diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy were discussed, providing the theoretical basis for more accurate elucidation of the pathogenesis and treatment of diabetic microvascular complications.

Objective To investigate the endoscopic transoral ⁃ medial pterygomandibular fold approach anatomic procedures for jugular foramen, and to analyze the clinical feasibility of this approach. Methods and Results In the anatomical laboratory of the Surgical Treatment Technology Innovation Unit of Nasal Skull Base Tumor in Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, a total of 5 specimens of necroheads (10 sides) were taken as research objects to simulate the anatomical steps of entering the jugular foramina and its adjacent structures through the oral pterygomandibular fold medial approach, and observe and describe important anatomical markers. 1) Anatomical procedures of the jugular foramen: firstly, the soft palate mucosa and suprapharyngeal retractive muscle were cut through the medial incision of pterygomandibular fold to enter anterior parapharyngeal space, the adipose tissue in the space was removed, and the stylopharyngeal fascia and stylopharyngeal muscle group were exposed. After the stylopharyngeal fascia was removed, the internal carotid artery (ICA) was further exposed and the jugular foramen was exposed. 2) The jugular foramen and its adjacent anatomical structures: the upper boundary of the jugular foramen was jugular bulbous fossa, the anterior was ICA, the anterolateral lateral was styloid process, the posterolateral boundary was the lateral rectus of head and transverse process of atlas, the medial boundary was the hypoglossal nerve and medial of occipital condyle, and the lateral boundary was the mastoid, digastric and facial nerves. Conclusions Endoscopic transoral⁃medial pterygomandibular fold approach for jugular foramen has better visual field, wider exposure range and shorter path.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a common malignant tumor in China. Radiotherapy is the first-line treatment. After appropriate radiotherapy, about 5%-15% patients experience recurrence. In view of the poor efficacy and high incidence of severe late toxicities associated with re-irradiation, salvage surgery by the transnasal endoscopic approach is recommended for recurrent NPC (rNPC). Compared with re-irradiation, endoscopic surgery can better prolong survival, improve the quality of life, and reduce complications and medical expenses of patients with rNPC. However, the complexity of the nasopharyngeal skull base enhances the difficulty and risk of surgery. Expanding the boundary of surgical resection remains a clinical challenge for otolaryngologists. In this regard, to help more advanced patients with rNPC, the surgical innovative system of NPC needs to be established by multi-disciplinary cooperation, involving skull base anatomy-based investigation, appropriate administration of the internal carotid artery (ICA), repair of skull base defect, and establishment of various types of endoscopic endonasal nasopharyngectomy.

Grid emission factor has become the most critical variable in carbon market quota allocation and carbon footprint accounting of international trade products. Different grid emission factors will lead to great differences in carbon emissions of enterprises or products. It is found that the temporal resolution, spatial resolution and energy distribution of cogeneration have great influence on the emission factors of power grid. This paper uses the data of China’s power industry to carry out empirical analysis. For each dimension, we set different choices and explore their specific impacts. It is found that the different choices of the three dimensions will cause 5.01%, 20.59%, 4.38% differences in the calculation results of grid emission factors. Finally, based on the research results, this paper puts forward suggestions from three aspects: authoritative guidance, data accuracy and international communication, in order to provide reference for Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting.

In view of the shortcoming that the dimensivity reduction effect of local linear embedding（LLE） is greatly affected by the uniformity of sample distribution, the uniform distance is designed to replace the Euclidean distance in LLE, so the uniform distance local linear embedding（UDLLE） method is proposed, and the effectiveness of UDLLE is verified by typical curves. On this basis, a rolling bearing fault diagnosis method based on UDLLE was proposed, and the diagnosis example was verified. The experimental results show that UDLLE can obtain more effective low-dimensional features than some other methods, reduce the difficulty of subsequent diagnosis and improve the fault diagnosis accuracy.

The purpose of the systematic investigation of plant resources in Jiamusi University campus is to understand the composition, community characteristics and ecological distribution of plant resources in Jiamusi University, and to make rational use of them. In the process of investigation, the methods of actual step-by-step search and data search are adopted to carry out ecological evaluation. According to statistics, there are 113 kinds of plants on Jiamusi University campus, of which 93 are woody plants and 18 are herbaceous plants. Its growth environment is suitable for forest margin, undergrowth, hillside, and shrub and so on. Its main uses are greening, shading, dust prevention and noise reduction. It has high value. It is hoped that the research will provide a basis for the future construction of ecological civilization on campus.

With the introduction of more non-linear loads, e.g., compact fluorescent lamps, electric vehicles, photovoltaics, etc., the need to determine the harmonic impact of the residential load is rising, illustrated by the many studies performed on their harmonic impact. Traditionally, these studies are performed for a single new device and single penetration level, neglecting the harmonic interaction between new types of devices, as well as giving little information at which moment in time possible problems may arise. A composite approach to access the impact of harmonic sources on the distribution network is therefore proposed. This method combines a bottom-up stochastic modeling of the residential load with harmonic measurement data and harmonic load-flows all based on a scenario analysis. The method is validated with measurement data and shows a good prediction of the current level of harmonics in a residential neighborhood for the current situation. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method, case studies are performed on the IEEE European Low Voltage Test Feeder. These case studies show a marked difference between applying individual device-based models and a composite modeling approach, demonstrating why the proposed approach is an adequate method for the determination of the impact of new devices on the harmonics.

Abstract Background Variations of porB1A and porB1B genes and their serotypes exist in Neisseria gonorrhoeae isolates from different geographical areas, and some site mutations in the porB1B gene correlate with drug resistance. Methods The β-lactamase production of N. gonorrhoeae isolates was determined by paper acidometric test and nitrocefin discs. The porB1A and porB1B genes of 315 non-penicillinase-producting N. gonorrhoeae (non-PPNG) strains were amplified by PCR for sequencing to determine serotypes and site mutations. A duplex PCR was designed to simultaneously detect both porB1A and porB1B genes. Penicillin and tetracycline resistance was assessed by an in vitro drug sensitivity test. Results Of the N. gonorrhoeae isolates, 31.1% tested positive for porB1A and 68.9% for porB1B genes. All the 98 porB1A+ isolates belonging to IA6 serotype with either no mutation at the 120 and 121 sites (88.8%) or a D120G (11.2%) mutation and were no resistance to both penicillin and tetracycline. Among the 217 porB1B+ isolates, 26.7%, 22.6% and 11.5% belonged to IB3, IB3/6 and IB4 serotypes, respectively. Particularly, two novel chimeric serotypes, IB3/6-IB2 and IB2-IB4-IB2, were found in 77 and 8 porB1B+ isolates. Two hundred and twelve (97.7%) of the porB1B+ isolates were presented G120 and/or A121 mutations with 163 (76.9%) at both sites. Interestingly, within the 77 porB1B+ isolates belonging to IB3/6-IB2 serotype, 15 were discovered to possess novel deletions at both A121 and N122 sites. All the replacement mutations at these sites in PorB1B were correlated with resistance and the deletion mutation showed the highest resistance. Conclusion N. gonorrhoeae isolates circulating in Eastern China include a sole PorB1A serotype (IA6) and five PorB1B serotypes. Multiple mutations in porB1B genes, including novel A121 and N122 deletions, are correlated with high levels of penicillin and tetracycline resistance.

Laboratory animals are the foundational conditions and indispensable technical support in life science research and biomedical industry development. The scientific development of animal models of diseases is of great significance to biomedical research and industrial development. In light of the booming development of multiple emerging in vitro modelling technologies over the past decade, in 2022, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed the bill FDA Modernization Act 2.0. This bill rescinded the requirement for animal testing in investigating the safety and effectiveness of a drug—a federal mandate since 1938, and highlighted the potential of various in vitro disease modeling approaches in future biomedical fields. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the latest advances and applications of in vitro disease modeling approaches in academia and industry followed by an interpretation of the FDA bill, namely cell culture, organoid, organ-on-a-chip, 3D bio-printing model and computer-based model. The paper next introduces the crossed applications of various disease models and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of each system, thereby providing insights into future trends in the use of animal disease models in China.

Stiffness performance is an important index to evaluate the bearing capacity of array framework and radar working accuracy. The mean square root of reflector deformation is often used to measure the stiffness performance of array, but the root mean square method can only analyze the overall stiffness of the framework, and can not evaluate the stiffness of local modules and their contribution to the overall stiffness.To solve this problem, the stiffness contribution of substructure（λ） and substructure bearing coefficient（α） were proposed based on the design criteria of substructure strain energy and uniform strain energy density, which has high calculation efficiency and wide application. Through this two parameters, the stiffness contribution of substructure in complex structure can be evaluated and analyzed conveniently. Finally, taking a typical vehicle mounted phased array radar as an example, the contribution and matching of the box girder substructure and T type joint substructure to the array framework were analyzed detailly, and then the influence of the array panel on the substructure stiffness contribution of the frame was analyzed. Through the analysis, some improvement design suggestions were put forward for the lightweight and bearing capacity design of the array antenna frame.

In this paper, a novel tracking algorithm based on the cooperative operation of online appearance model and typical tracking in contiguous frames is proposed. First of all, to achieve satisfactory performances in challenging scenes, we focus on establishing a robust discriminative tracking model with linear Support Vector Machine (SVM) and use the particle filter for localization. Intended to fit the particle filter, the outputs of SVM classifier are mapped into probabilities with a sigmoid function so that the posterior of candidate samples is estimated. Then, the tracking loop starts with median flow method and the coordinated operation of the two trackers is mediated by the maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimate for the target probability of negative samples, which is defined during the sigmoid fit. Lastly, for the purpose of model update, we sum up the optimal SVM using a prototype set with the predefined budget, and the classifier is updated on both the prototype set and the updated data from the tracking results every few frames. A number of comparative experiments are conducted on real video sequences and both qualitative and quantitative evaluations demonstrate a robust and precise performance of our method.

Argostemma ehuangzhangense, a new Rubiaceae species from E’huangzhang Nature Reserve, Guangdong Province, China, is here described and illustrated. A morphological comparison between the new species and its putative relatives, A. lamxayanum, A. laotica and A. verticillatum, is presented. The new species is mostly similar to A. laotica, but they can be distinguished from each other since Argostemma ehuangzhangense presents solitary flower (vs. 2-flowered inflorescences), flower lobes 4 (vs. 5) and anthers opening by longitudinal slits (vs. apical pores). In a preliminary IUCN Red List status of Argostemma ehuangzhangense this species is assigned as Vulnerable (VU).
