Abstract

Several studies are conducted to explain the synthesis, as well as the various magnetic properties of the different TbFeCo-based perpendicular magnetic tunnel junctions. The MR ratio of the system is shown to remain unaffected by annealing.

Abstract

The magnetic properties and nanosturctures of Co[Pt.sub.3] wire arrays that are prepared by electrodeposition using a porous alumina template are described. The studies have shown the thermally induced phase transition of Co[Pt.sub.3] nanowires to ordered [L1.sub.2] Co[Pt.sub.3] through a 'cluster-in-cluster' intermediate state via interdiffusion processes.
