Abstract

The study of addition of (pentafluoroethyl)- and (heptafluoropropyl)lithium to various acyl derivatives to form Weinreb and morpholine amides, which resulted in polyfluoro ketones in high to quantitative yields in short reaction times are reported. The study provides a method for the synthesis of potential inhibitors for phospholipase [A.sub.2] and other lipolytic enzymes involved in the endocannabiniod system.
