Abstract

The construction of a 20 kV gun with a transmission photocathode including an active layer of a GaAs-GaAsP superlattice layer is reported. The gun offers the possibility of observing nanometer size magnetic domains in real time, replacing the La[B.sub.6] emitter by T-PC polarized electron emitter.
