Abstract

A sequential pump-dump control method is proposed for photoisomerization of the chiral molecule H2POSD with a repulsive potential in its electronic excited state. The method consists of two sequential pump-dump series of pulses, which is derived by using a global optimization method, and compete with direct photodissociation of a chiral molecule.
