Abstract

Several variables are observed to influence photocurrent spectra and intersubband absorption in GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As multiple quantum wells. Well thickness affects temperature induced blue shift of the intersubband absorption peak. Energy in absorption peak increases due to the lowering of temperature from 290 to 10 K. Photocurrent spectrum declines and is eventually cut off at 80 K.
