3. Electro-optical properties of nematic liquid crystal cell by double-side fringe-field switching

Abstract

The electro-optical and response properties of a nematic liquid crystal cell driven by double-size fringe-field switching are studied. The findings show that turn-on and turn-off response times, showing four time improvement over the single-side fringe-field switching have been derived.
