Abstract

The leakage mechanism and device degradation caused by Fowler-Nordheim and hot carrier stresses for dynamic random-access memory cell transistors with deeply recessed channels are examined. Findings reveal that the novel recess-FinFET structure is the most optimal device structure, as it enhances threshold voltage, ON/OFF currents and the retention time distributions.

Abstract

An image processing system for digital zooming and digital effects is proposed. The proposed system directly processes the CCD signal without separating it into luminance and chrominance signals, based on the characteristics of the color filter array in CCD. By using the proposed color signal processing method, an efficient and high quality digital zooming system is obtained. Various special effect functions are also included in the system by adding simple controls for addresses of the accompanied image buffers. The proposed system has been realized by one chip VLSI for the single CCD color video camera.

Abstract

High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) is used to investigate the crystallographic characteristics of an epitaxial C49-TiSi2 island formed on the Si (100) substrate. Results reveal that the optimum epitaxial relationship between the C49-TiSi2 phase and the Si substrate is [001]C49//[011]Si and (010)C49//(100)Si.

Abstract

Fully indium-exchanged zeolite X is prepared by solvent-free redox ion-exchange of fully dehydrated fully T1(super +)-exchanged zeolite with In metal at 50 degree Celsius. Electron-probe microanalysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction showed the product to be an indium aluminosilicate free of thallium.
