Abstract

The conjugated polymer TFTs array was successfully fabricated on plastic substrate by the use of micro-contact printing method. The microcontact printing process, which uses a silicon elastomer stamp, enables the patterning of polymer layers without any photolithography process.

Abstract

Atomistic molecular dynamics (MD) simulations at 300 K are used to predict the structures and properties for Langmuir monolayers (LMs) of the amphiphilic bistable [2]rotaxanes. The electron density profiles are obtained as a function of the monolayer packing area from the stimulated structures of the Langmuir monolayers.

Abstract

The structure and properties self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of a bistable [2]rotaxane on Au (111) surfaces as a function of the surface coverage using atomistic molecular dynamics (MD) simulations are reported. It is found that the SAM retains hexagonal packing, except for the case at twice the optimum packing density.
