Abstract

Antibodies can be spontaneously loaded in functionalized mesoporous silica (FMS) with superhigh density because of their comprehensive noncovalent interaction, which have allowed long-lasting local release of the immunoregulatory molecules from FMS. The studies have provided a novel approach for local delivery of the therapeutically active proteins to tumors and other diseases.
