BACKGROUND: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruptions to the functioning of societies and their health systems. Prior to the pandemic, health systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) were particularly stretched and vulnerable. The International Society of Global Health (ISoGH) sought to systematically identify priorities for health research that would have the potential to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in LMICs. METHODS: The Child Health and Nutrition Research Initiative (CHNRI) method was used to identify COVID-19-related research priorities. All ISoGH members were invited to participate. Seventy-nine experts in clinical, translational, and population research contributed 192 research questions for consideration. Fifty-two experts then scored those questions based on five pre-defined criteria that were selected for this exercise: 1) feasibility and answerability; 2) potential for burden reduction; 3) potential for a paradigm shift; 4) potential for translation and implementation; and 5) impact on equity. RESULTS: Among the top 10 research priorities, research questions related to vaccination were prominent: health care system access barriers to equitable uptake of COVID-19 vaccination (ranked 1st), determinants of vaccine hesitancy (4th), development and evaluation of effective interventions to decrease vaccine hesitancy (5th), and vaccination impacts on vulnerable population/s (6th). Health care delivery questions also ranked highly, including: effective strategies to manage COVID-19 globally and in LMICs (2nd) and integrating health care for COVID-19 with other essential health services in LMICs (3rd). Additionally, the assessment of COVID-19 patients' needs in rural areas of LMICs was ranked 7th, and studying the leading socioeconomic determinants and consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in LMICs using multi-faceted approaches was ranked 8th. AIM: The majority of women diagnosed with early breast cancer have hormone-receptor positive (HR+)/HER2-negative disease. Adjuvant endocrine therapy provides substantial risk reduction benefits in virtually all patients. The role of adjuvant chemotherapy in certain subsets of patients is equivocal. This paper sought to evaluate the role of the IHC4+C score to aid this clinical decision in addition to providing an overview of the current molecular and non- molecular tools available in the adjuvant setting. METHODS: This prospective study included 53 post-operative HR+/HER2- negative early breast cancer patients selected from the multidiscipliniary team meeting between August 2017 and January 2020. IHC4+C testing was requested by clinicians for patients in whom the availability of the score may have impacted adjuvant decision-making. Adjuvant treatment decisions were recorded at three time points (prior and post IHC4+C scoring as well as the patient's final decision). The primary goal was the proportion of patients who were spared chemotherapy following the availability of IHC4+C scores to impact on clinicians' recommendations for adjuvant systemic therapy. RESULTS: A total of 34 patients (64%) were initially recommended to undergo chemotherapy or to consider chemotherapy. With the availability of the IHC4+C score, only 17 patients (32%) underwent chemotherapy, demonstrating a substantial reduction in the frequency of chemotherapy prescribing. CONCLUSION: This study demonstrates that when utilized appropriately in a multidisciplinary setting, the IHC4+C algorithm is an alternative, reproducible and affordable tool with a proven capacity to stratify risk and to spare a large proportion of patients from undergoing chemotherapy.

The success of organizations is largely depended on their employees' ability to innovate. The role of cultural intelligence to enhance innovative work behavior is yet to be explored in the innovation research. The purpose of this study is to examine how cultural intelligence enhances employees' innovative work behavior through work engagement and interpersonal trust. Design/methodology/approach The study is a cross-sectional design which utilizes data from 381 participants from multinational corporations in Saudi Arabia. Findings The results indicate that cultural intelligence can significantly affect employee's innovative work behavior. It further reveals that both work engagement and interpersonal trust partially mediate the effect of cultural intelligence on innovative work behavior. Originality/value This study adds to the literature on intelligence by examining an underexplored type of intelligence (i.e. cultural intelligence) in relation to employee's innovative work behavior. It reveals work engagement and interpersonal trust as the psychological mechanisms that can link cultural intelligence to innovative work behaviors.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediation of organizational identification and environmental orientation fit on the relationship between employees' corporate social responsibility (CSR) perceptions and their engagement in organizational citizenship behaviors for the environment. On the basis of 374 survey responses from employees, our structural equation modeling results indicated that CSR perceptions had a positive effect on employees' OCBEs. Moreover, both organizational identification and environmental orientation fit mediated the effect of CSR perceptions on employees' OCBEs. This study contributed to three literature streams (i.e., CSR, pro-environmental behaviors and environmental management, and person–environment fit). Managerial implications and recommendations for future research are given at the end.

Introduction The effect of cryotherapy on joint positioning presents conflicting debates as to whether individuals are at an increased risk of injury when returning to play following cryotherapy application at the lower limb. Objectives The aim of this study was to investigate whether a 20 minute application of crushed ice at the knee affects knee joint position sense immediately post and up to 20 mins post ice removal, during a small knee bend. Method 17 healthy male participants took part in the study performing a functional task. Using three-dimensional motion analysis (Qualisys Medical AB Gothenburg, Sweden), kinematics of the knee were measured during a weight bearing functional task pre and immediately post, 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes post cryotherapy intervention. Skin surface temperature (Tsk) cooling was measured via infrared non-contact thermal imaging (Flir Systems, Danderyd, Sweden) over the anterior and medial aspect of the knee. Results Results demonstrated significant reductions in the ability to accurately replicate knee joint positioning. A significant increase (P ≧ 0.05) in rotational movement in the transverse plane occurred, 20 minutes post ice removal. Discussion A 20-minute application of crushed ice to the anterior aspect of the non-dominant knee has an adverse effect on knee joint repositioning and dynamic stability, 20 minutes after ice is removed. In consideration of returning a land-based athlete to dynamic functional activities, post cryotherapeutic intervention at the knee, clinicians should consider these findings due to the potential increase risk of injury.

The spin-orbit torque driven magnetization switching follows the same sense in TM-rich and RE-rich samples with respect to the total magnetization, but the sense of the switching is reversed with respect to the TM magnetization. This indicates that the sign of the spin-orbit-torque-driven magnetic switching follows the total magnetization, although transport based techniques such as anomalous Hall effect are only sensitive to the transition metal magnetization. The inositol-polyphosphate 5-phosphatase enzyme family removes the 5-position phosphate from both inositol phosphate and phosphoinositide signaling molecules. We have cloned and characterized a novel 5-phosphatase, which demonstrates a restricted substrate specificity and tissue expression. The 3.9-kb cDNA predicts for a 72-kDa protein with an N-terminal proline rich domain, a central 5-phosphatase domain, and a C-terminal CAAX motif. The 3.9-kilobase mRNA showed a restricted expression but was abundant in testis and brain. Antibodies against the sequence detected a 72-kDa protein in the testis in the detergent-insoluble fraction. Indirect immunofluorescence of the Tera-1 cell line using anti-peptide antibodies to the 72-kDa 5-phosphatase demonstrated that the enzyme is predominantly located to the Golgi. Expression of green fluorescent protein-tagged 72-kDa 5-phosphatase in COS-7 cells revealed that the enzyme localized predominantly to the Golgi, mediated by the N-terminal proline-rich domain, but not the C-terminal CAAX motif. In vitro, the protein inserted into microsomal membranes on the cytoplasmic face of the membrane. Immunoprecipitated recombinant 72-kDa 5-phosphatase hydrolyzed phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate, forming phosphatidylinositol 3,4-bisphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate, respectively. We propose that the novel 5-phosphatase hydrolyzes phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate on the cytoplasmic Golgi membrane and thereby may regulate Golgi-vesicular trafficking.
