Consider the inclusion of a historical approach to treating contents in the teaching process, has been defended in recent decades by researchers from different areas since it allows the development of critical and reflexive views by teachers and students. This improves the meaning of systematized knowledge shared with subsequent generations. Thus, the present article aims to investigate the role of the historical-epistemological approach as a methodological foundation for the elaboration of synthesis on the development of numbering systems. For this, qualitative research was carried out, through reviews in books, theses, dissertations, and scientific articles that address the same subject matter. There are pieces of evidence about referrals by many civilizations highlighting the need to undertake quantification, in order to establish a numbering system more efficient than existing systems at the time. The historical-epistemological approach offered methodological conditions for an increase in knowledge regarding the object of study, favouring a deepening of the research carried out., A inclusão da abordagem histórica no ensino de conteúdos escolares vem sendo defendida nas últimas décadas por pesquisadores de diversas áreas, pois permite aos envolvidos nos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem, uma visão crítica e reflexiva acerca dos assuntos estudados, dando mais sentido ao conhecimento sistematizado e compartilhado com as novas gerações. Desse modo, o presente artigo tem por objetivo investigar o papel da abordagem histórico-epistemológica como fundamentação metodológica para a elaboração de uma síntese acerca do desenvolvimento dos sistemas de numeração. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, mediante revisões em livros, teses, dissertações e artigos científicos que tratam do tema. Foi possível evidenciar os encaminhamentos dados por diversas civilizações frente à necessidade de empreender quantificações, até a estabilização de um sistema eficiente de numeração que superou os limites dos sistemas predecessores. A abordagem histórico-epistemológica ofereceu condições metodológicas para uma ampliação de conhecimentos relativos ao objeto de estudo, favorecendo um aprofundamento da pesquisa realizada., La inclusión del enfoque histórico para el tratamento de contenidos escolares en processos de enseñanza, viene siendo defendida en las últimas décadas por investigadores de diversas áreas, pues permite a los involucrados en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, una visión crítica y reflexiva acerca de los asuntos estudiados, dando más sentido al conocimiento sistematizado que se compaerte con las nuevas generaciones. De este modo, el presente artículo investiga el papel del abordaje histórico-epistemológico como fundamento metodológico para la elaboración de una síntesis acerca del desarrollo de los sistemas de numeración. Para ello, se realizó una investigación de naturaleza cualitativa, mediante revisiones en libros, tesis, disertaciones y artículos científicos que tratan del tema. Es posible evidenciar las propuestas hechas por diversas civilizaciones frente a la necesidad de emprender cuantificaciones, hasta la estabilización de un sistema eficiente de numeración que superó los límites de los sistemas predecesores. El enfoque histórico-epistemológico ofreció condiciones metodológicas para una ampliación de conocimientos relativos al objeto de estudio, favoreciendo la profundización de la investigación realizada.

The process of school inclusion for people with disabilities is a recent development, especially for the deaf individuals, so the study of how this inclusion process occurs and the teaching of Sciences/Biology for these individuals is still incipient. The objective of this work was to investigate how science/biology teaching takes place for deaf students in the city of Cornélio Procópio-PR and what difficulties are encountered by the students, teachers, and sign language interpreters in the scenario of school inclusion. To reach this goal, we interviewed teachers and interpreters who work in elementary and middle schools of the public network that attend deaf students in Cornélio Procópio. The results of the interviews demonstrated that all those involved in this process face difficulties, the interpreters indicate language as an obstacle to the interpretation of Sciences and Biology classes, since Brazilian Sign Language presents a deficit of lexicons in relation to the Portuguese Language. On the other hand, the main difficulty for the teachers is the lack of preparation to work in classes which include deaf people, jeopardizing not only their interaction with the students, but also the teaching of Sciences and Biology.

The paper presents a study about contributions that mathematics education with an interdisciplinary approach brings to an undergraduate course in the area of administration. Our study discusses how teaching and learning of mathematical knowledge can encourage an administrator in training towards understanding mathematical knowledge using an analysis of phenomena or problems existing in the socio-cultural environment. We propose that a structure for mathematical teaching: should come from an epistemological basis of knowledge which is built through mathematization with its horizontal and vertical components; be produced from an appropriate contextualization of the reality of phenomena and a mathematical decontextualization; and, finally, be a recontextualization of this new structure into new contexts and problems, that lead to interdisciplinary action., Esse artigo apresenta um estudo a respeito das contribuições que o ensino de matemática pode proporcionar à formação de alunos de um curso do Ensino Superior na área de administração. O estudo discute como o ensino e a aprendizagem do conhecimento matemático podem subsidiar a formação de um administrador, não somente no sentido da compreensão do conhecimento matemático, mas, também, na análise de fenômenos ou problemas existentes em seu entorno sociocultural. A estruturação para o trabalho com o conhecimento matemático dá-se por meio de: um circuito epistemológico do conhecimento, que é proposto pela matematização horizontal e vertical; contextualização adequada de fenômenos da realidade; descontextualização do objeto matemático; e, por fim, recontextualização dessa estrutura em novas problemáticas, implicando necessariamente uma ação interdisciplinar.
