An obsession with the point of view, POV, as a craft element, drove the impetus of this research. The artist's statement highlights a love affair with escapism through the written word in fiction. The critical paper reviews evidence of the persuasiveness of point of view, POV, as a critical craft element as seen in the nuances of POV in The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, Persuasion and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and A Time to Dance by Karen Kingsbury and in first-person testimony in journalism. While some research into POV exists for literary classics, like Pride and Prejudice, this thesis shows the evidence of the persuasiveness of POV to warrant formal academic research into how each type of POV can be used to entertain and engage specific audiences. The creative manuscript will leverage the styles of POV referenced in the study to deliver a later-in-life romance, Pearls for Persephone.

In this article, an application in the field of engineering graphics is presented for the design of a geometric calculator generated as a macro in CATIA V5. The code of this macro is written in the CATVBA language and utilizes the CATIA internal editor while taking advantage of the capabilities offered by Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The principal purpose of this application lies in the possibility of creating the three main geometric elements (point, line, and plane) and in solving five types of general geometric problems, and then comparing the results obtained with their equivalent problems from analytical geometry. In particular, within these types of general geometric problems, 34 possible cases are solved: definition of lines (nine cases), definition of planes (12 cases), intersection points (three cases), angles (three cases), and distances (seven cases). These new entities defined with the geometric calculator can serve as support for the generation of new three-dimensional volumes, the creation of auxiliary symmetries, and the dimensioning of various elements. It was verified that the results of the designed macro and the solutions of the analytical equations coincided; therefore, the procedure was validated. Likewise, the module employed herein in the CATIA V5 environment is “Wireframe and Surface Design”, since it enables handling the three basic geometric elements (point, line, and plane), which form the basis of the geometric calculator. Lastly, it is verified how the geometric calculator allows their integration with three-dimensional solids, which represents a notable advance as an aid in its geometric definition.

If, in addition, the space is separable, there is a pair of antiproximinal norms. In particular, in a separable polyhedral space X, the set of all (equivalent) norms on X having an isomorphic antiproximinal norm is dense. In contrast, it is shown that there are no antiproximinal norms in Banach spaces with the Convex Point of Continuity Property (CPCP). This thesis examines the role of the concepts of “Build Back Better”, “Disaster Cycle”, and “Sustainability” in water management and the possibility of the interactions between these concepts when designing water management infrastructure. Especially in cases where the disaster cycle is relatively short: 10 to 15 years between disasters. The case study is on the island of Grand Bahama. The island of Grand Bahama depends on the freshwater groundwater lens for its drinking water. Flooding during hurricanes introduces saline water into that groundwater lens. It is therefore highly probable that the current drinking water production method will not be able to meet the demand in the future. An alternative drinking water supply system should therefore be examined. To investigate the interactions between the concepts, they are put into a conceptual design process, which uses the methodology “RenewIsland”, and used to set up some preliminary designs. Three Alternatives were made with the methodology “RenewIsland”. These Alternative designs were then subjected to a Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA). This thesis substantiates from the process that the interaction between the concepts is possible and that the inclusion of Build Back Better in the Water management decisions gives more possibilities to make balanced choices. A blueprint has been made for a method to analyze swiftly if an alternative is compatible with the different cycles and phases of a location regarding a disaster and normal circumstances. This paper offers an updated description of the pottery of La Chamba, Tolima, and its purpose is to privilege the conceptual point of view of the artisans and the imponderable events of the entire creation process with clay. It intends to show, rather than argue, that working with clay is a craft whose wisdom lies in the submission to the properties and possibilities of clay and other materials involved through a methodical, sensitive and plastic knowledge, like the clay itself. An exploration of this is offered based on the notion of test and point. This paper is the result of a stay of more than four months in the village, guided by a methodological orientation that can be called participant observation, consisting of being an apprentice of the craft and joining the life of the potters., Este artículo ofrece una descripción actualizada de la alfarería de La Chamba, Tolima, cuyo propósito es privilegiar el punto de vista conceptual de lasartesanas y los artesanos y los sucesos imponderables de todo el proceso de creación con el barro. Pretende mostrar, más que argumentar, que el trabajo del barro es un oficio cuya sabiduría reside en el sometimiento a las propiedades y posibilidades del barro y otros materiales implicados, por medio de un conocimiento metódico, sensible y plástico, como el barro mismo. In the effort to counteract problems associated with the current carbon intensive transport system, app-based tools persuading mobility behaviour change have emerged worldwide. Most of such apps adopt a gamified approach and motivate behaviour change through external extrinsic motivational factors such as real-life prizes, that are attributed based on the distance travelled by non-car transport modes. Despite this approach might be effective in promoting additional leisure trips by sustainable mobility, it might keep car-based commuting habits unaltered, or even stimulate unfair app behaviour to gain points. In this paper, we focus on the Bellidea persuasive app, that was co-designed with interested citizens in a Swiss-based living lab experiment, and present how we addressed the shortcomings of prize-based rewarding systems, while also dealing with the constraints imposed by current levels of accuracy in automatic transport mode detection. We illustrate and discuss our design choices and the related algorithmic solutions by referring to the following dilemmas: “single transport modes versus modal split”, “trust versus control”, “dynamism versus rigidity”, and “global versus local”. We conclude by analysing real-life mobility data-sets collected by the Bellidea app and discussing our design solutions against their capacity to attract its target user group, namely car driver individuals.

Aim. Neuroauriculotherapy (NAT) is a branch of medicine, which, thanks to its diagnostic and therapeutic value, is a powerful tool at the service of both physician and patient. In our experience, as it is discussed in this article, neuroauriculotherapy can have successful applications in voice science and in phoniatrics. The aim of this article is to open a discussion about possible applications of neuroauriculotherapy in voice medicine. Introduction. From the diagnostic point of view, it is possible to explore, with a palpeur (i.e., a tool that provides a constant pressure) or a “spot-hunter”, the presence of a perturbation into a particular organ or area, and its return to normal during treatment. Indeed, at the level of the ear auricle, representations of an organ, its innervation, its muscular components, etc., are fixed. These spots or voxels correspond absolutely to the respective sensory, motor, visceral, among other spots. Therefore, if any abnormal potential comes from the periphery, it will illuminate the spots both at the cortical level and in the pavilion —a real display with a constantly active touch screen. The spot can be treated with needles in the context of a neurophysiological strategy to send a message to the brain. Reflection. NAT appears to be a good method to improve the treatment of voice problems, enhancing the results of other therapies based on drugs or rehab and inducing relaxation. In neuroauriculotherapy, the ear is used to give the brain orders in a process which has a logical basis in neurophysiology. Conclusion. Diseases of the vocal tract can be dysfunctional or organic. According to our clinical experience, we can say that neuroauriculotherapy can be used in both cases. Neuroauriculotherapy is also extremely effective in voice therapy, both alone and in combination with other therapies, as there is no conflict among them., Objetivo. En nuestra experiencia, como se comenta en este artículo, la neuroauriculoterapia puede tener aplicaciones exitosas en la ciencia de la voz y en foniatría. El objetivo de este artículo es abrir una discusión sobre las posibles aplicaciones de la neuroauriculoterapia en la medicina de la voz. Introducción. Desde el punto de vista del diagnóstico, es posible explorar, con un palpeur (es decir, una herramienta que proporciona una presión constante) o un “spot-hunter”, la presencia de una perturbación en un órgano o área en particular, y su retorno a la normalidad durante el tratamiento. En efecto, a nivel del pabellón auricular se fijan representaciones de un órgano, su inervación, sus componentes musculares, etc. Estos puntos o vóxeles corresponden absolutamente a los respectivos puntos sensoriales, motores, viscerales, entre otros. Por lo tanto, si algún potencial anormal proviene de la periferia, iluminará los puntos tanto a nivel cortical como en el pabellón —una pantalla real con una pantalla táctil constantemente activa. El punto se puede tratar con agujas en el contexto de una estrategia neurofisiológica para enviar un mensaje al cerebro. Reflexión. NAT parece ser un buen método para mejorar el tratamiento de los problemas de voz, potenciando los resultados de otras terapias basadas en fármacos o rehabilitación e induciendo a la relajación. This paper explores the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors about emerging hazards, environmental change, and relocation among community groups in Utqiaġvik (Barrow) of the North Slope Borough (NSB), Alaska. This region has been experiencing accelerating erosion and warmer temperatures, permafrost thawing, more frequent and intense storm surges, and increased maritime traffic and extractive industries with ice loss, with direct or cascading effects on the mixed ethnic and indigenous communities. This paper used engagement activities (Participatory Applied Theater) and qualitative approaches (focus groups) during three consecutive summers 2016-2018 to evaluate the risk perceptions and interpretations towards coastal changes and relocation as an adaptive response in this U.S. strategic yet remote location. Each focus group session started with risk ranking activities about regional hazards to assess knowledge and perceptions of risk, followed by an interactive script reading of an Iñupiat disaster legend to facilitate discussion about risk reduction options and engagement with the survey questions. Focus groups were audio recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using qualitative data analysis software Nvivo and a hybrid coding strategy. Results indicate that relocation is considered by some participants but is not planned for nor implemented by community groups, families, or the local government to reduce the hazard risks. However, widespread recognition of accelerated hazards and environmental changes, and the need for adaptation could lead to consideration of relocation in the future. This study provides a case of disaster risk reduction in a remote place with unique place-specific characteristics (e.g., particular forms of subsistence, corporate monopolies, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and social organizations), but also shaped by significant external influences, accompanied by a changing landscape of risk from the slow and rapid onset of environmental changes.

Anomaly detection in the scope of network security aims to identify network instances for the unexpected and unique, with various security operations employing such techniques to facilitate effective threat detection. However, many systems have been designed based on the absolute mapping of attacks to one of three anomaly types (i.e. point, collective, or contextual), a strategy not supported by the recent findings of hybrid anomaly classifications. Given the growing usage of network anomaly detection and the implications of hybrid anomalies, we propose several heterogeneous anomaly types and provide an unsupervised approach for the automated mapping of network threats. Initial findings on publicly available intrusion datasets support the existence of four unique heterogeneous anomaly types, providing unique insight regarding the next generation of network anomaly detection systems.

Posteriormente, la creación de un plan de acción que disminuya el impacto de dichos problemas. Además, como objetivo secundario se pretende orientar y animar a la empresa en la implantación de la mejora continua. El proyecto está dividido en una memoria de nueve capítulos y un presupuesto. La memoria comienza con la introducción del trabajo, la descripción de la empresa y el marco teórico. En este marco teórico se describen las herramientas usadas en el proyecto como el BPMN, ¿es y no es¿, diagramas de Ishikawa, los cinco porqués, indicadores y tableros de marcha. Después, comienza el análisis de la situación inicial mediante cuestionarios a los diferentes interesados y la propia experiencia en la empresa. Este capítulo finaliza con la determinación de los tres problemas principales (retrasos en el servicio de entrega, errores en los pedidos y la sobreproducción). It is currently submerged in an economic crisis due to the shortage of sales that is putting the survival of the company at risk. For this reason, the object of the project is the study and analysis of the main problems of the company Paloma de la O diseño infantil S.L. from an approach based on the lean philosophy and the ISO 9001 standard. Subsequently, the creation of an action plan that reduces the impact of these problems. In addition, as a secondary objective, it is intended to guide and encourage the company in the implementation of continuous improvement. The project is divided into a report of nine chapters and a budget. The report begins with the introduction of the work, the description of the company and the theoretical framework. Here, the authors extend TQC to the magnetic space groups to form a complete, real-space theory of band topology in magnetic and nonmagnetic crystalline solids. For over 100 years, the group-theoretic characterization of crystalline solids has provided the foundational language for diverse problems in physics and chemistry. However, the group theory of crystals with commensurate magnetic order has remained incomplete for the past 70 years, due to the complicated symmetries of magnetic crystals. In this work, we complete the 100-year-old problem of crystalline group theory by deriving the small corepresentations, momentum stars, compatibility relations, and magnetic elementary band corepresentations of the 1,421 magnetic space groups (MSGs), which we have made freely accessible through tools on the Bilbao Crystallographic Server. We extend Topological Quantum Chemistry to the MSGs to form a complete, real-space theory of band topology in magnetic and nonmagnetic crystalline solids - Magnetic Topological Quantum Chemistry (MTQC). Using MTQC, we derive the complete set of symmetry-based indicators of electronic band topology, for which we identify symmetry-respecting bulk and anomalous surface and hinge states.

In this paper, the main features of the evolution of Leibniz’s conception of space are examined. Through a genealogical approach, our task is to show that, in its historical development, such conception is subjected to two outstanding transitions which separate and distinguish three theoretical versions. In his youth (before 1670), Leibniz proposes a substantivalist conception of space. However, because of Leibniz’s adoption of nominalism, this conception undergoes there a first transformation and it turns into a substance-like monism, notably consolidated in the middle period of Leibniz’s philosophy (1680-1690). In the late period (1690 onwards), Leibniz reformulates finally, in a second transition, his concept of space, which takes the form of -what we call- a substance-like relationism., En este artículo examinamos los aspectos más relevantes de la concepción del espacio de Leibniz. A través de un enfoque genético, nuestro propósito es mostrar que, en su desarrollo evolutivo, dicha concepción sufre dos transiciones destacables, las que separan y distinguen tres versiones teóricas. In collaboration with the University of the Bahamas, we used the Charette model, the Three-point Approach and the conceptual framework: Build Back Better to propose a solution that involves several aspects: Reduced risk overall, increased social cohesion on the island, improved life quality and reduced costs during reconstruction in the aftermath of a hurricane event. Based on the analysis of the island, the hurricane and the important physical processes, a division between protection method is proposed based on the location on the island: collective and individual protection., The main vision for the reconstruction of Grand Bahama is to Build Back Better. This is done by taking an interdisciplinary approach and connecting engineering to spatial planning and design. The proposed strategy reduces the risk by taking into account exposure and vulnerability of the general risk approach. The main point of the strategy is to create a resilient urban environment in which vital infrastructure like the airport remains functional. This is done by making a collective protection zone of the economic and social city centre of Freeport, a zone that also offers shelter. Individual protection and evacuation shelters will be given to residents, buildings and facilities in the less densely built areas, east and west of the city., MP312

Many claim that social stimuli are rewarding to primates, but few, if any, studies have explicitly demonstrated their reward value. Here, we examined whether chimpanzees would produce overt responses for the opportunity to view conspecific social, compared to dynamic (video: Experiment 1) and static (picture: Experiment 2) control content. We also explored the relationships between variation in social reward and social behavior and cognition. We provided captive chimpanzees with access to a touchscreen during four, one-hour sessions (two 'conspecific social' and two 'control). The sessions consisted of ten, 15-second videos (or pictures in Experiment 2) of either chimpanzees engaging in a variety of behaviors (social condition) or vehicles, humans, or other animals engaged in some activity (control condition). For each chimpanzee, we recorded the number of responses to the touchscreen and the frequency of watching the stimuli. Independent t-tests revealed no sex or rearing differences in touching and watching the social or control videos (p>0.05). Repeated measures ANOVAs showed chimpanzees touched and watched the screen significantly more often during the social compared to control video sessions. Furthermore, although chimpanzees did not touch the screen more often during social than control picture sessions in Experiment 2, they did watch the screen more often. Additionally, chimpanzees that previously performed better on a task of social cognition and engaged in more affiliative behavior watched a higher percentage of social videos during the touchscreen task. These results are consistent with the social motivation theory, and indicate social stimuli are intrinsically rewarding, as chimpanzees made more overt responses for the opportunity to view conspecific social, compared to control, content.

Context. We present the early installment of the third Gaia data release, Gaia EDR3, consisting of astrometry and photometry for 1.8 billion sources brighter than magnitude 21, complemented with the list of radial velocities from Gaia DR2.Aims. A summary of the contents of Gaia EDR3 is presented, accompanied by a discussion on the differences with respect to Gaia DR2 and an overview of the main limitations which are present in the survey. Recommendations are made on the responsible use of Gaia EDR3 results.Methods. The raw data collected with the Gaia instruments during the first 34 months of the mission have been processed by the Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium and turned into this early third data release, which represents a major advance with respect to Gaia DR2 in terms of astrometric and photometric precision, accuracy, and homogeneity. Results. Gaia EDR3 contains celestial positions and the apparent brightness in G for approximately 1.8 billion sources. For 1.5 billion of those sources, parallaxes, proper motions, and the (G(BP) - G(RP)) colour are also available. The passbands for G, G(BP), and G(RP) are provided as part of the release. For ease of use, the 7 million radial velocities from Gaia DR2 are included in this release, after the removal of a small number of spurious values. New radial velocities will appear as part of Gaia DR3. Finally, Gaia EDR3 represents an updated materialisation of the celestial reference frame (CRF) in the optical, the Gaia-CRF3, which is based solely on extragalactic sources. The creation of the source list for Gaia EDR3 includes enhancements that make it more robust with respect to high proper motion stars, and the disturbing effects of spurious and partially resolved sources. Context. We present the early installment of the third Gaia data release, Gaia EDR3, consisting of astrometry and photometry for 1.8 billion sources brighter than magnitude 21, complemented with the list of radial velocities from Gaia DR2.Aims. A summary of the contents of Gaia EDR3 is presented, accompanied by a discussion on the differences with respect to Gaia DR2 and an overview of the main limitations which are present in the survey. Recommendations are made on the responsible use of Gaia EDR3 results.Methods. The raw data collected with the Gaia instruments during the first 34 months of the mission have been processed by the Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium and turned into this early third data release, which represents a major advance with respect to Gaia DR2 in terms of astrometric and photometric precision, accuracy, and homogeneity. Results. Gaia EDR3 contains celestial positions and the apparent brightness in G for approximately 1.8 billion sources. For 1.5 billion of those sources, parallaxes, proper motions, and the (G(BP) - G(RP)) colour are also available. The passbands for G, G(BP), and G(RP) are provided as part of the release. For ease of use, the 7 million radial velocities from Gaia DR2 are included in this release, after the removal of a small number of spurious values. New radial velocities will appear as part of Gaia DR3. Finally, Gaia EDR3 represents an updated materialisation of the celestial reference frame (CRF) in the optical, the Gaia-CRF3, which is based solely on extragalactic sources. La terapia con oxígeno nasal de alto flujo es una herramienta relativamente nueva que ha despertado mucha expectación en distintos entornos sanitarios, siendo usada en pacientes con distintas condiciones subyacentes. Sus ventajas fisiológicas, que la hacen única y el hallazgo de nuevos usos, con posibles aplicaciones en anestesia que podrían suponer importantes implicaciones, sobre todo en el manejo de la vía aérea, han llevado a un interés creciente también en el campo de la anestesiología. Hemos revisado artículos publicados entre 2015 y noviembre de 2018, tras realizar una búsqueda en Pubmed, sobre todo, orientados en el papel de esta nueva técnica en el periodo perioperatorio. Además de explicar en qué consiste la técnica, comentamos beneficios fisiológicos (algunos con mayor evidencia científica), indicaciones sobre todo en anestesia (valorando el apoyo científico actual), contraindicaciones, efectos adversos, conclusiones y corrientes actuales. Finalmente acabamos exponiendo una serie de preguntas pendientes de resolver y que requieren más estudios., High-flow nasal oxygen therapy is a relatively new tool that has aorused much expectation in different health-care settings, being used in patients with different underlying conditions. Its physiological advantages, which make it unique and the finding of new uses, with possible indications in anesthesia that could imply important implications, especially in the management of the airway, have led to a growing interest also in the field of anesthesiology. We have reviewed articles published between 2015 and November 2018, after doing a search in Pubmed, especially oriented on the role of this new technique in the perioperative period. Besides explaining what the technique consists of, we comment on physiological benefits (some with greater scientific evidence), indications especially in anesthesia (assessing the current scientific support), contraindications, adverse effects, conclusions and current trends. Finally, we finish by presenting a series of questions that need to be resolved and that require further study.

Actively monitoring infrastructure is key to detecting and correcting problems before they become costly. The vast scale of modern infrastructure poses a challenge to monitoring due to insufficient personnel. Certain structures, such as refineries, pose additional challenges and can be expensive, time-consuming, and hazardous to inspect. This thesis outlines the development of an autonomous robot for structural-health-monitoring. The robot is capable of operating autonomously in level indoor environments and can be controlled manually to traverse difficult terrain. Both visual and lidar SLAM, along with a procedural-mapping technique, allow the robot to capture colored-point-clouds. The robot is successfully able to automate the point cloud collection of straightforward environments such as hallways and empty rooms. While it performs well in these situations, its accuracy suffers in complex environments with variable lighting. More work is needed to create a robust system, but the potential time savings and upgrades make the concept promising.

Switches, which are critical components of the Swedish railway, have a neglected maintenance cost that is three times as high as their current annual maintenance cost. Between 2017 and 2018, switches’ reported faults increased by 38 % and about one-third of them caused delays on the regular railway traffic. The purpose of this master thesis is to present recommendations of how condition-based maintenance could reduce the occurrence of faults in railway switches that affects the regular railway traffic. Condition-based maintenance is a cost-effective strategy designed to monitor and plan maintenance according to the condition of a device and is suitable for remote-controlled monitoring. To fulfill the purpose the thesis was divided into three milestones that were accomplished by applying the problem-solving method DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control). The first milestone included the Define and Measure steps and aimed to investigate which fault caused the largest number of delay minutes per fault. Different categories of causes that affects the railway traffic were analysed. Among them, Material-weakening/Aging and Broken component resulted in many faults and delay minutes. The faults were sorted into groups at component level. Faults caused by Gearbox were identified as those causing the largest delays in the railway traffic. The result from the first milestone with the Define and Measure steps were then used for the second milestone. The second milestone included the Analyse step where it was investigated if the identified faults in Gearbox could be foreseen. This investigation was first conducted through the analysis of alarms recorded in one of Trafikverket’s databases. A graphical analysis of the data showed that no relationship could be identified between the faults in Gearbox and the recorded alarms of the database. In recent years, research in the field of autonomous driving has been subject to a significant increase in interest. Along with the advances in automation and electrification, cars are slowly transitioning to computers on wheels. The ever-increasing processing power in vehicles gives rise to the implementation of advanced control strategies. The increase in computational power not only allows for novel solutions to automated driving but can also be used for advanced control systems aimed at collision avoidance. At the same time, significant advances have been made towards efficient nonlinear optimisation methods, giving rise to new possibilities for real-time applications. This thesis focuses on an Evasive Manoeuvre Assistance Function (EMA) to avoid obstacles at the limits of handling using a Model Predictive Control (MPC) approach. Vehicles at the limits of handling typically operate in the nonlinear region of the tyre. For this reason, a Nonlinear Model Predictive Control (NMPC) approach is employed. A baseline scenario with a lateral displacement of 2 metres is considered, representing a common near rear-end collision situation. An optimal trajectory and steering sequence is computed by the MPC over a defined horizon. As MPC considers a model to calculate an optimal control input, a nonlinear two-track model with a simplified Magic Formula is used. The main drawback of real-time NMPC has always been its computational burden. For the baseline scenario, the limits of real-time NMPC are explored, using the state-of-the-art non- linear optimisation methods: Sequential Quadratic Programming (SQP) and Interior-Point Method (IPM). Both methods are compared in simulation and an SQP approach is tested on an embedded system within a test vehicle, subject to the disturbances and uncertainties that come with physical driving. Registration is one of the most important tasks in mobile laser scanning (MLS) point cloud processing. This paper firstly reviews existing target-free matching techniques as well as methods to evaluate the quality of the registration. Next, a new error metric is introduced that takes into account the residuals of check planes as well as their orientation. Experiments using real datasets in combination with reference data were performed to evaluate the suitability of these metrics. The proposed error metric proved to be more suitable for evaluating the quality of point cloud registration than state-of-the-art equivalents. The results also indicate that least squares plane fitting is the best technique for MLS point cloud registration.

Area functionality and user comfort problems are general for architects and designers. The experts view that the compositional factors take a significant role in solving such problems as: size, shape, physical properties of surfaces, which are the key tools of architecture shaping, graphic art and product design. At the same time, the artistic aspect dominates in the exhibition design, but the dimensions and shape are treated as utilitarian and organized intuitively. This approach can not be considered as optimal. Author believes that the emphasis of the compositional aspect will improve the quality of the exposition design at the applied level and contribute the development of the design theory. The article is explored the design of the museum exposition on the plane. The exposition is considered as a formalized group of components: a point, a line, a spot. Attention is focused on such parameters as: size, shape, tone, texture and surface treatment method. Two levels of composition perception are considered: local (perception of the single composition) and global (perception of the several groups in the area). The material, the size and shape of the surface, the area and the lighting are important at the local level. Such aesthetic qualities as traditions and innovations become important at the global level. The traditional qualities of the exposition are: dispersal, depth and the presence of dominants. Innovations are: using the optical phenomenon’s and spatial imagination of the viewers, using multimedia, transformation of the plane by the image, color, light, and imitation of volume.
