- Abstract
The proposed process scheme for hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites from natural raw materials, such as perlite and pumice, takes advantage of the coproduction of two commodites and represents a good example of upgrading of poor raw materials. It is shown that favourable marketing prospects exist both for the less valuable iron-contaminated zeolites and for the economically more valuable iron-free material., The proposed process scheme for hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites from natural raw materials, such as perlite and pumice, takes advantage of the coproduction of two commodites and represents a good example of upgrading of poor raw materials.
