Nonyfenoletoxylater tillhör en grupp av ickejoniska tensider, vars nedbrytningsprodukt nonylfenol kan bioackumuleras i miljön och har långtgående negativa effekter på vattenlevande organismer. Nonylfenoler har även reproduktiv påverkan och klassas som hormonstörande. Projektet syftar därför till att ersätta nonylfenoletyoxylater mot ett säkrare och miljövänligare alterantiv inom kursen KD2350 Ytor, kolloider och mjuka material. Ytterligare bedöms olika lösningsmedels lämplighet. Analysmetoder inkluderade dropptest, DLS, och visuell granskning av emulsionssystemen. Laborationer med ickejonisk tensid utfördes med varierande koncentrationer av lösningmedel, samtensider, etoxyleringsgrad, tensidhalt och salthalt för att skapa önskade emulsionssystem. Resultaten visar att det är möjligt att ersätta etoxylerade nonylfenoler med en mindre skadlig tensid. Tensiderna beter sig dock olika och det är inte möjligt att ersätta en nonylfenol med en etoxylerad alkohol med samma etoxyleringsgrad rakt av. De slutliga erhållna emulsionssystemen var transparenta, men var mycket känsliga för temperatur. Resultaten som erhölls från projektets laborationer visar dock avvikelser från den teori som finns. Ett exempel är att flera källor skriver att ickejoniska tensider till skillnad från joniska tensider inte kräver en samtensid. Utifrån försöken bildades det inte en mikroemulsion när ingen samtensid i form av alkohol tillsattes till de ickejoniska emulsionerna. Försöket utfördes däremot endast på två tensider med etoxyleringsgrad 8 och 10. Det är möjligt att tensiderna med högre etoxyleringsgrader kan bilda mikroemulsioner utan tillsats av en samtensid.

The application of surfactants and polymers in carbonate reservoirs has a high potential with emerging technology of the manufacture of these chemicals. Tertiary or enhanced oil recovery with chemicals (CEOR) will become more relevant with decreasing new exploration of oil deposits and high remaining oil saturations in huge carbonate oil reservoirs. However, in several oil deposits, high reservoir brine salinity and moderate to high reservoir temperature are encountered. Under such conditions, many chemicals will be insoluble or degrade fast. A selection of commercial and research surfactants and polymers has been investigated for their application under brine salinity of up to 18 percent by weight with significant hardness and a moderate reservoir temperature of 70 °C. Chemical systems were tested towards outcrop limestone rock samples and calcite platelets in combination with a crude oil, which was modified by different organic acids regarding its wetting potential. Wettability alteration from preferentially oil-wet core plugs was pursued with ethoxylated tertiary amines and quaternary ammonium compounds. The main mechanism of wettability alteration towards more water-wet was proposed as extraction of carboxylate anions from the oil phase and the solid samples into aqueous micelles. Thus, high surfactant concentrations would result in improved recovery. From screening of different surfactant combinations in tertiary core flooding, one promising system of an alkyl ether sulfate and hexadecyltrimethylammonium combined with a terpolymer (TP) from acrylic acid, ATBS and NVP is proposed for the examined conditions. Low to moderate adsorption of the single surfactants and their combination as well as a favorable, stabilized phase behavior when combined with the polymer emphasize the applicability of the system. Die vorliegende Arbeit präsentiert eine erste umfassende Wachstumsstudie, und erste quantitative Wachstumsmodelle, von Gruppe-III und IV Oxiden synthetisiert mit sauerstoffplasmaunterstützter Molekularstrahlepitaxie (MBE). Diese entwickelten Modelle beinhalten kinetische und thermodynamische Effekte. Die erworbenen Erkenntnisse sind auf fundamentale Wachstumsprozesse in anderen Syntheseverfahren übertragbar, wie zum Beispiel der Laserdeposition oder metallorganische Gasphasenepitaxie. Die Wachstumsraten und Desorptionsraten werden in-situ mit Laser-Reflektometrie bzw. Quadrupol-Massenspektrometrie (QMS) bestimmt. Es werden die transparenten halbleitenden Oxide Ga2O3, In2O3 und SnO2 untersucht. Es ist bekannt, dass sich das Wachstum von Gruppe-III und IV Oxiden, aufgrund der Existenz von Suboxiden, fundamental von anderen halbleitenden Materialien unterscheidet. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Wachstumsrate der untersuchten binären Oxide durch die Formierung und Desorption von Suboxiden flussstöchiometrisch und thermisch limitiert ist. Es werden die Suboxide Ga2O für Ga2O3, In2O für In2O3 und SnO für SnO2 identifiziert. Ein Suboxid ist ein untergeordneter Oxidationszustand, und es wird gezeigt, dass die untersuchten Oxide über einen Zwei-Stufen-Prozess gebildet werden: vom Metall zum Suboxid, und weiterer Oxidation vom Suboxid zum thermodynamisch stabilen festen Metalloxid. Dieser Zwei-Stufen-Prozess ist die Basis für die Entwicklung eines ersten quantitativen, semiempirschen MBE-Wachstumsmodells für binare Oxide die Suboxide besitzen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Methode entwickelt, die es ermöglicht die Eignung von Tensiden für neuartige Trennprozesse zu evaluieren. Hierzu werden Tensid/ Wasser Phasengleichgewichte und Mizelle/ Wasser Verteilungskoeffizienten ermittelt, unter der Berücksichtigung des Einflusses von Alkoholen, pH Wert und Tensidmischungen. Die Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie (PET) ist eine etablierte Untersuchungsmethode in der Medizin. Das vorgestellte Projekt beschäftigt sich mit einer nichtmedizinischen Anwendung dieses bildgebenden Verfahrens – dem Aufbau und der Anwendung eines PET-Tomographen zur Untersuchung des Verhaltens von Schaum in Blasensäulen. Am Beispiel von Natriumcapronat als schwaches Tensid, das einen feuchten, instabiler Schaum erzeugt, wird gezeigt, dass sich die Anreicherung eines Tensids in einer Schaumschicht mit der Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie nachweisen lässt.

Die Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie (PET) ist eine etablierte Untersuchungsmethode in der Medizin. Das vorgestellte Projekt beschäftigt sich mit einer nichtmedizinischen Anwendung dieses bildgebenden Verfahrens – dem Aufbau und der Anwendung eines PET-Tomographen zur Untersuchung des Verhaltens von Schaum in Blasensäulen. Am Beispiel von Natriumcapronat als schwaches Tensid, das einen feuchten, instabiler Schaum erzeugt, wird gezeigt, dass sich die Anreicherung eines Tensids in einer Schaumschicht mit der Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie nachweisen lässt.

Es werden Umlagerungsreaktionen von Propargylaziden vorgestellt, die durch [3,3]-sigmatrope Isomerisierung der Azidfunktion zu kurzlebigen Azidoallen-Zwischenstufen führen. Allenyl-azide cyclisieren rasch zu Triazafulvenen, welche in Gegenwart von Nucleophilen als 1H-1,2,3-Triazol-Derivate abgefangen werden können. Die Einführung geeigneter Substituenten zeigt, daß die intermediär durchlaufenen Allenylazid- und Triazafulven-Zwischenstufen auch [4+2]-Cycloadditionsreaktionen oder intramolekulare Abfangreaktionen eingehen. Durch die NMR-spektroskopische Verfolgung einer Sequenz von zwei aufeinanderfolgenden sigmatropen Wanderungen wird nachgewiesen, daß ausgehend von 5-Azidopent-2-en-4-inen eine E/Z-Äquilibrierung der Stereoisomere erfolgen kann. Bei der Umlagerung von substituierten 3,4-Diazidobut-1-inen findet zunächst die Bildung von Azidoallenen statt, welche im zweiten Umlagerungs-schritt zu kurzlebigen 1,2-Diazidobuta-1,3-dienen isomerisieren. Diese Umlagerungsprodukte beinhalten die Substruktur eines vicinalen Vinyldiazids und reagieren unter Abspaltung von Stickstoff zu Nitrilen. Die Cyclisierung der Azidoallene steht dabei in Konkurrenz zur zweiten Azidwanderung und kann durch die Einführung geeigneter Substituenten in 4-Position vollständig zurückgedrängt werden. Durch den Einsatz der diastereomeren Edukte gelingt es, den stereospezifischen Verlauf der Umlagerungssequenz aufzuzeigen und anhand der durchlaufenen Übergangszustände zu diskutieren. Zur Aufklärung der relativen Konfiguration der Edukte erwiesen sich Lanthaniden-Shift-Experimente als wertvolle Methode. Die Einführung geeigneter Substituenten zeigt, daß die intermediär durchlaufenen Allenylazid- und Triazafulven-Zwischenstufen auch [4+2]-Cycloadditionsreaktionen oder intramolekulare Abfangreaktionen eingehen. Durch die NMR-spektroskopische Verfolgung einer Sequenz von zwei aufeinanderfolgenden sigmatropen Wanderungen wird nachgewiesen, daß ausgehend von 5-Azidopent-2-en-4-inen eine E/Z-Äquilibrierung der Stereoisomere erfolgen kann. Bei der Umlagerung von substituierten 3,4-Diazidobut-1-inen findet zunächst die Bildung von Azidoallenen statt, welche im zweiten Umlagerungs-schritt zu kurzlebigen 1,2-Diazidobuta-1,3-dienen isomerisieren. Diese Umlagerungsprodukte beinhalten die Substruktur eines vicinalen Vinyldiazids und reagieren unter Abspaltung von Stickstoff zu Nitrilen. Die Cyclisierung der Azidoallene steht dabei in Konkurrenz zur zweiten Azidwanderung und kann durch die Einführung geeigneter Substituenten in 4-Position vollständig zurückgedrängt werden. Durch den Einsatz der diastereomeren Edukte gelingt es, den stereospezifischen Verlauf der Umlagerungssequenz aufzuzeigen und anhand der durchlaufenen Übergangszustände zu diskutieren. Zur Aufklärung der relativen Konfiguration der Edukte erwiesen sich Lanthaniden-Shift-Experimente als wertvolle Methode. Der untersuchte Reaktionsweg stellt eine bequeme Synthesemethode für 1,2,3-Triazole dar. So können zahlreiche neue Triazolderivate generiert werden, beispielsweise auch tensidartige Strukturen, die durch die Einführung von Alkylketten am polaren Triazolring entstehen. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberala štúdiom interakcií pôdnej organickej hmoty, konkrétne humínových kyselín so znečisťujúcou látkou, kde sa použil tenzid Septonex. Humínové kyseliny boli v rámci práce izolované z dvoch rôznych pôd, a to černozeme a kambizeme.
