Unter der Fragestellung der neuronalen Degeneration bei spinaler multipler Sklerose wurde das Rückenmark von 27 in den Jahren 1977 bis 2000 obduzierten MS Patienten im Vergleich mit 29 Kontrollfällen ähnlichen Jahrganges und Alters untersucht.
