With the rapid development of the Internet and information technology, the problem of zero-trust networks has become increasingly prominent, and secure multi-party computation has become a research hotspot to solve the problem of zero-trust networks. The secure judgment of point and line relationship is an important research branch of secure computing set geometry. However, most of resent secure computing protocols of point and line relationship are designed in the semi-honest model and cannot resist malicious attacks. Therefore, this paper analyzes the possible malicious adversary behaviors and designs a secure protocol in the malicious model. In this paper, the Paillier cryptosystem, zero- knowledge proof, and cut-choose method are used to resist malicious behavior, and the real/ideal model paradigm method is used to prove the security of the protocol. Compared with the existing solutions, the malicious model protocol is still efficient and widely used in real applications. &nbsp

Purpose. There have been many studies in the operative management of pyogenic spondylodiscitis with foreign materials. However, it still remains an issue of debate on whether the allografts may be used in pyogenic spondylodiscitis. This study sought to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of PEEK cages and the cadaveric allograft in transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) for treating lumbar pyogenic spondylodiscitis. Methods. From January 2012 to December 2019, 56 patients underwent surgery for lumbar pyogenic spondylodiscitis. The posterior debridement of all patients and their fusion with allografts, local bone grafts, and bone chip cages were performed before posterior pedicle screw fusion. An assessment of the residual pain, the grade of neurological injury, and the resolution of infection was conducted on 39 patients. The clinical outcome was evaluated using a visual analog scale (VAS) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and neurological outcomes were appraised based on Frankel grades. The radiological outcomes were evaluated via focal lordosis, lumbar lordosis, and the state of the fusion. Results. Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis were the most common causative organisms. The mean preoperative focal lordosis was −1.2° (−11.4° to 5.7°), and the mean postoperative focal lordosis increased to 10.3° (4.3°–17.2°). At the final follow-up, there were five cases with subsidence of the cage, no case of recurrence, and no case with cage and screw loosening or migration. The mean preoperative VAS and ODI scores were 8.9 and 74.6%, respectively, and improvements in VAS and ODI were 6.6 ± 2.2 and 50.4 ± 21.3 % , respectively. The Frankel grade D was found in 10 patients and grade C in 7. Following the final follow-up, only one patient improved from Frankel grade C to grade D while the others recovered completely. Conclusion. The PEEK cage and cadaveric allograft combined with local bone grafts is a safe and effective choice for intervertebral fusion and restoring sagittal alignment without increased incidence of relapse for treating lumbar pyogenic spondylodiscitis.

The defective bottom interfaces of perovskites and hole-transport layers (HTLs) limit the performance of p-i-n structure perovskite solar cells. We report that the addition of lead chelation molecules into HTLs can strongly interact with lead(II) ion (Pb 2+ ), resulting in a reduced amorphous region in perovskites near HTLs and a passivated perovskite bottom surface. The minimodule with an aperture area of 26.9 square centimeters has a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 21.8% (stabilized at 21.1%) that is certified by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), which corresponds to a minimal small-cell efficiency of 24.6% (stabilized 24.1%) throughout the module area. Small-area cells and large-area minimodules with lead chelation molecules in HTLs had a light soaking stability of 3010 and 2130 hours, respectively, at an efficiency loss of 10% from the initial value under 1-sun illumination and open-circuit voltage conditions.

The free-surface boundary condition is a crucial aspect in numerical modeling of (visco)elastic wave equations, especially when using a finite-difference (FD) method in the presence of surface topography. The parameter-modified method is a widely used approach to solve this problem. In this regard, the adaptive Poisson's ratio parameter-modified (APM) method has proven to be effective in accurately simulating seismic surface waves within the FD discretization framework. Based on the equivalent medium theory, vacuum approximation, and mathematical limit, we developed a viscoelastic parameter-modified (VPM) method for the implementation of the free-surface boundary condition in the three-dimensional (3D) viscoelastic wave equation. Our approach modifies the viscoelastic constitutive relation and density at the free surface and provides a formulation in terms of displacement and stress. We demonstrated that our VPM method is more general than the viscoelastic stress-image (VSI) method as it includes the latter as a limit case when Poisson's ratio equals zero. The presented free-surface method is represented implicitly within the FD grid, and we provide implementation details when simulating surface waves with topography in the standard staggered-grid FD scheme. We support our theory' feasibility and accuracy through numerical examples.

Based on an average-derivative method (ADM), we develop an optimal elastic-wave finite-difference nine-point scheme for vertical transversely isotropic (VTI) media in the frequency domain. The optimization coefficients of ADM can be determined by minimizing phase-velocity dispersion error. Nevertheless, for the complex VTI media, the point-by-point optimization, which only considers a single anisotropic parameter pair, will require high computational cost. To address this issue, we take into account the other two low-cost schemes: the overall simultaneous optimization in terms of various anisotropy parameter pairs, and the interpolation based on the completely computed optimization coefficients. Applying the 58 measured anisotropy parameter pairs of sedimentary rocks, we test the performances of point-by-point optimization, the overall optimization, interpolation and classical nine-point method (CM), respectively. The results show that the number of grid points per qS wavelength of the interpolation scheme is closest to that of the point-by-point optimization scheme and much lower than that of the overall optimization scheme and CM. In addition, the surface of solid earth is a strong impedance-discontinuity surface (free surface), resulting in the more complicated wavefields. To realize the full-waveform simulation for elastic VTI media, it is necessary to implement free-surface boundary condition in detail. Based on the equivalence between the stress-image and adaptive parameter-modified schemes for implementing the free-surface boundary condition in the time domain, we give a new frequency-domain free-surface expression for the VTI media. We still call this expression as the stress-image scheme. Numerical experiments demonstrate that (1) the optimal ADM can produce more accurate results than CM at almost the same computational cost; (2) the interpolation scheme has almost identical accuracy with the point-by-point optimization scheme; and (3) the stress-image scheme is feasible for the implementation of free-surface boundary condition in a VTI medium.

Considering the shortcomings of the existing network key node identification methods based on multiattribute fusion, which have single evaluation methods and low decision accuracy, combined with the advantages of the high accuracy of TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) algorithm and the applicability of grey relational analysis method for incomplete information evaluation, the concept of relative closeness is proposed, and nodes are ranked in importance based on the relative closeness; a key node identification method algorithm based on improved multiattribute fusion is designed. First, the identification problem of key nodes is transformed into multiattribute decision-making method, and the decision matrix is obtained. Second, the weighting matrix is obtained by weighting them in both subjective and objective dimensions, the relative closeness is calculated for the weighting matrix. Finally, sort the network nodes by relative closeness, and network performance simulation experiments are designed using various combinations of evaluation methods and key node identification methods. The simulation results show that this method is more adaptable and improves the identification accuracy of the network key nodes.

Therefore, it is very important to find a comprehensive treatment mode, such as radical resection combined with neoadjuvant radiotherapy (neoRT).Methods: The centrally located HCC patients who underwent radical resection from July 2015 to April 2021 were enrolled. According to whether the neoRT was implemented or not, these patients were allocated into neoadjuvant radiotherapy combined with liver resection (neoRT+LR) and liver resection alone (LR) group. The research method used propensity-score analysis and Cox proportional-hazards regression models. We generated an E-value to assess the sensitivity to unmeasured confounding. This study is a real-world, retrospective study based on phase II clinical trial.Results: A total of 168 patients were enrolled, including 38 patients treating with neoRT+LR and 130 patients with LR. The 1-, 3-, 5-year disease free survival (DFS) rates were 74%, 55% and 39% in the neoRT+LR group, and 44%, 28%, and 24% in the LR group, respectively. Neoadjuvant radiotherapy was an independent prognostic factor for postoperative recurrence ([HR]0.42, 95% CI [0.25, 0.69]). There was significant association between neoRT+LR and longer disease-free survival (Match, [HR] 0.43, 95% CI [0.24, 0.76]; GenMatch, [HR] 0.32, 95% CI [0.23, 0.43]; Adjusted for propensity score, [HR] 0.41, 95% CI [0.23, 0.73]; Inverse probability weighting, [HR] 0.38, 95% CI [0.22, 0.65], respectively). DFS before and after matching analysis was statistically different in two groups (p-value=0.005, p-value=0.0024, respectively). Neoadjuvant radiotherapy can significantly reduce the postoperative early recurrence (p-value < 0.05). E-value analysis suggested robustness to unmeasured confounding.Conclusion: Liver resection combined with neoadjuvant radiotherapy was effective and safe for treatment of centrally located HCC patients, which improved the prognosis of patients and reduced the incidence of early recurrence.Keywords: centrally located hepatocellular carcinoma, neoadjuvant radiotherapy, radical resection, recurrence

Artificial intelligence is gaining tremendous attractiveness and showing great success in solving various problems, such as simplifying optimal control derivation. This work focuses on the application of Neuroevolution to the control of Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) cohorts operating at uncontrolled intersections. The proposed method implementation’s simplicity, thanks to the inclusion of heuristics and effective real-time performance are demonstrated. The resulting architecture achieves nearly ideal operating conditions in keeping the average speeds close to the speed limit. It achieves twice as high mean speed throughput as a controlled intersection, hence enabling lower travel time and mitigating energy inefficiencies from stop-and-go vehicle dynamics. Low deviation from the road speed limit is hence continuously sustained for cohorts of at most 50 m long. This limitation can be mitigated with additional lanes that the cohorts can split into. The concept also allows the testing and implementation of fast-turning lanes by simply replicating and reconnecting the control architecture at each new road crossing, enabling high scalability for complex road network analysis. The controller is also successfully validated within a high-fidelity vehicle dynamic environment, showing its potential for driverless vehicle control in addition to offering a new traffic control simulation model for future autonomous operation studies.

This was a daily diary study using intensive longitudinal methods to evaluate the dynamic structure of relationships among employees’ self-reported health, psychological capital, daily workplace incivility, and daily emotional exhaustion. We recruited 200 participants working in health and fitness clubs for experience sampling and had them file the same questionnaires for 10 consecutive working days. A total of 179 participants (men = 57, 31.85%; women = 122, 68.15%) completed the questionnaires, with a response rate of 89.5%, leading to 1790 data points at the within-person level. We used a multilevel location-scale model of dynamic structural equation modeling (DSEM) for data analysis. We ran the model in Mplus software (version 8.4) and found an autoregressive ‘carry over’ relationship between the previous day’s emotional exhaustion changes on current emotional exhaustion changes ([Formula: see text] = 0.067, CI = [0.003, 0.132]). Daily workplace incivility significantly and positively predicted daily emotional exhaustion at the within-person level ([Formula: see text] = 0.953, CI = [0.465, 1.489]). Self-reported health was negatively associated with a person’s mean ratings of daily emotional exhaustion ([Formula: see text] = −0.256, CI = [0.465, 1.489]) and moderated the strength of the workplace incivility effect on emotional exhaustion ([Formula: see text] = −0.201, CI = [−0.292, −0.121]). Finally, psychological capital was negatively related to a person’s mean ratings of daily emotional exhaustion ([Formula: see text] = −0.240, CI = [−0.377, −0.102]).

Three-dimensional gravity inversion has been widely used to infer density structures and tectonic movements of the earth and Moon. However, two problems (the nonuniqueness and low depth resolution) of current gravity inversion methods still exist and are not completely resolved, which affect the reliability of the inversion results and the corresponding geologic interpretation. To improve the depth resolution of the 3D gravity inversion, we propose an efficient inversion method in spherical coordinates based on a mixed smooth and focused regularization with depth-weighting functions. In the inversion, we also use the kernel matrix equivalence strategy and the fast kernel-vector multiplication method based on a fast Fourier transform in each iteration to increase computational efficiency. Two synthetic inversion examples indicate that the proposed method can recover more complex density structures compared with the often used smooth-constraint inversion approach. Finally, the proposed inversion approach is applied to the latest lunar gravitational field model GL1500E to study the 3D density structures of the Moscoviense Basin. The inverted results indicate that the density structure with high-positive anomalies is principally distributed at depths ranging from 5 to 70 km, forming a giant asymmetrical high-density structure inclining from the southwest to the northeast. We may conclude that the Moscoviense Basin was formed by the double impact, where the second collision occurred in the southwest of the basin center of the first collision.

This paper intends to treat the green supplier selection (GSS) problem as a multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem, adopt the linguistic Z-number that can more flexibly and accurately express the evaluation information, and expand the traditional multi-attribute boundary approximate area comparison (MABAC) method, combine the CRITIC method of standard importance and consider the risk vector to finally determine the optimal solution. More specifically, the linguistic Z-number is used to describe the fuzzy evaluation information of experts on alternatives under attributes, then the expanded CRITIC method is used to obtain the weight of each given attribute, and finally the MABAC method with added risk vector and expanded is used to obtain the ranking of alternatives and obtain the best solution. Finally, taking green supplier selection as an example, and comparing with other methods, the reliability and effectiveness of the constructed method are verified. The results show that this method can express the evaluation information of experts flexibly and completely, and obtain the ranking results of given schemes through fewer steps, which is reliable and effective.

The paraventricular nucleus of the thalamus (PVT) is involved in drug addiction–related behaviors, and morphine is a widely used opioid for the relief of severe pain. Morphine acts via opioid receptors, but the function of opioid receptors in the PVT has not been fully elucidated. Here, we usedin vitroelectrophysiology to study neuronal activity and synaptic transmission in the PVT of male and female mice. Activation of opioid receptors suppresses the firing and inhibitory synaptic transmission of PVT neurons in brain slices. On the other hand, the involvement of opioid modulation is reduced after chronic morphine exposure, probably because of desensitization and internalization of opioid receptors in the PVT. Overall, the opioid system is essential for the modulation of PVT activities.SIGNIFICANCE STATEMENTOpioid receptors modulate the activities and synaptic transmission in the PVT by suppressing the firing rate and inhibitory synaptic inputs. These modulations were largely diminished after chronic morphine exposure.
