Background: There is wide variation in the problems prioritised by people with psychosis in cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis (CBTp). While research trials and mental health services have often prioritised reduction in psychiatric symptoms, service users may prioritise issues not directly related to psychosis. This discrepancy suggests potential challenges in treatment outcome research. Aims: The present study aimed to examine the types of problems that were recorded on problem lists generated in CBTp trials. Method: Problem and goals lists for 110 participants were extracted from CBTp therapy notes. Subsequently, problems were coded into 23 distinct categories by pooling together items that appeared thematically related. Results: More than half of participants (59.62%) listed a non-psychosis-related priority problem, and 22.12% did not list any psychosis related problems. Chi-square tests indicated there was no difference between participants from early intervention (EI) and other services in terms of priority problem (χ2 = 0.06, p = .804), but that those from EI were more likely to include any psychosis-related problems in their lists (χ2 = 6.66, p = .010). Conclusions: The findings of this study suggest that psychiatric symptom reduction is not the primary goal of CBTp for most service users, particularly those who are not under the care of EI services. The implications for future research and clinical practice are discussed.

Swine production systems contribute to emission of greenhouse gases (CO2, N2O, and CH4) and ammonia (NH3) into the atmosphere. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate methods for determining the emissions of ammonia and greenhouse gases (GHG) in a commercial swine production unit with natural ventilation during the finishing phase. The concentrations of gases in the air were measured using a gas analyzer (INNOVA 1412), and the flow emission was calculated by considering the ventilation rate and the differences in gas concentration between the interior and exterior of the installation. The results showed that the emission flow obtained via the simplified method in [g per swine h-1] was 2.689, 0.30, 4.39, 13.55, and 3.273 for CO2, N2O, CH4, NH3, and water vapor, respectively. The flow obtained using the continuous method in [g per swine h-1] was 574, 0.67, 19.50, 5.84, and 7.2 for CO2, N2O, CH4, NH3, and water vapor, respectively. The proposed simplified method was highly accurate for estimating GHG emissions from swine production systems with natural ventilation. RESUMO Os sistemas de produção de suínos contribuem com emissões de gases de efeito estufa (dióxido de carbono - CO2, óxido nitroso - N2O e metano - CH4) e amônia - NH3 para a atmosfera. Portanto, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar metodologias para determinação das emissões de amônia e gases de efeito estufa em uma unidade de produção comercial de suínos durante a fase de terminação, que possui ventilação natural. Foram medidas as concentrações de gases no ar pelo analisador de gases (INNOVA 1412) e foi calculada a vazão de emissões considerando a taxa de ventilação e as diferenças de concentração de gases entre o interior e o exterior da instalação. Os resultados mostraram que a vazão de emissão obtida pela metodologia simplificada em [g suíno por hora] foi: 2,689 para CO2, 0,30 para N2O, 4,39 para CH4, 13,55 para NH3 e 3,273 para vapor d’água. A vazão obtida para a metodologia contínua em [g suíno por hora] foi de 574 para CO2, 0,67 para N2O, 19,50 para CH4, 5,84 para NH3 e 7,2 para vapor d’água. A metodologia simplificada foi altamente precisa para estimar as emissões de GEE em sistemas de produção de suínos com ventilação natural.

Myofibroblastoma of the breast is a benign tumor originated from mesenquimal cells with a very low incidence in breast pathology. Only 80 cases were reported until 2018. Eight histological patterns were described and may mimic a number of other breast diseases. A 55-years old male was diagnosed with an incidental left breast nodule. An ultrasonography with biopsy showed a 27 mm nodule compatible with myofibroblastoma. We performed a lumpectomy via modified Benelli technique. Surgery was curative and the only necessary treatment. Myofibroblastoma could be misdiagnosed and clinical differential diagnosis includes other benign and malignant breast lesions. In the setting of a diagnosis, histology may be confusing as myofibroblastoma may exhibit a wide spectrum of histological features that defines 8 variants. These subgroups can mimic malignant lesions in their histological pattern. Definitive diagnosis depends on histopathological and immunochemical results. Physicians must be aware about heterogeneity in morphological and immunochemical aspects of myofibroblastoma and his variants, as they can lead to erroneous management of the lesion. Surgery is important for a definitive and accurate diagnosis, excluding malignancy and relieving the burden of a close image-based surveillance.

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar as características dos usuários e dos atendimentos realizados nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde do município de Criciúma/SC. Foram avaliados todos atendimentos realizados no ano de 2018, através da coleta de dados secundários no sistema de informação em saúde (CELK Saúde) do município. As variáveis analisadas foram: idade, sexo, escolaridade, situação de moradia, encaminhamentos realizados à atenção secundária, classificação e tipos de atendimentos registrados durante as consultas e os principais procedimentos executados. Foram realizadas análises descritivas das variáveis estudadas, com a apresentação das frequências absolutas e relativas. Dentre os 452.605 atendimentos avaliados, observou-se que 64,57% dos atendimentos foram realizados pelo sexo feminino e pelos indivíduos com 60 anos ou mais. A maior prevalência de atendimentos foi na classificação saúde mental. Em relação aos tipos de atendimento, notou-se predominância de consulta médica em todos os distritos. Quanto aos encaminhados realizados à atenção secundária, os mais prevalentes foram a oftalmologia e a ortopedia. Os resultados encontrados neste estudo podem orientar os gestores em saúde no desenvolvimento de estratégias e alternativas de intervenções efetivas na atenção básica, melhorando a qualidade e otimizando os serviços públicos ofertados.

Essential oils from Amazonian species are gaining increasing interest worldwide due to their medicinal and cosmetic applications; however, the relation among the chemical constituents and their biological properties are not well explored. Therefore, the present research aims to obtain an understanding of the bioactivity of chemical compounds in the essential oils of plants from the Annonaceae family (Bocageopsis pleiosperma, Onychopetalum amazonicum, Unonopsis duckei, U. floribunda, U. rufescens, U.stipitata, U. guatterioides, Duguetia flagellaris and Xylopia benthamii). By means of gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry, in vitro cytotoxic and anti-lipase assays, principal component analysis and molecular docking, it was possible to establish the main compounds that may be responsible for the cytotoxic effect of O. amazonicum and B. pleiosperma. Moreover, the anti-lipase potential of D. flagellaris was also established, as well as its composition related to the activity. Thus, by the employed strategy, allo-aromadendrene, cryptomerione, δ-cadinene and β-bisabolene were suggested as plausible cytotoxic agents against cancer cell lines, and dehydroaromadendrene, spathulenol and elemol, against lipase. The present study provides significant information on the chemical profile and bioactivity studies of Amazon Annonaceae aromatic plants.

Objective: The clinical cases of patients with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) were analyzed via a systematic review and meta-analysis of the clinical findings, treatments, and possible outcomes of articles retrieved via database searches. Sources: The authors searched the PubMed, Scielo, Web of Science, Science Direct, EMBASA, EBSCO, and Scopus databases for articles containing the keywords “multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children” or “MIS-C” or “PIMS-TS” or “SIMP” and “COVID-19” or “SARS-CoV-2” published between December 1st, 2019 and July 10th, 2021. Patient characteristics, tissue and organ comorbidities, the incidence of symptoms after COVID-19 infection, treatment, and patient evolution in the articles found were evaluated. The data were abstracted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS). Findings: In total, 98 articles (2275 patients) were selected for demographics, clinical treatment, and outcomes of patients diagnosed with MIS-C. The average age of children with MIS-C, 56.8% of whom were male, was of nine years. Fever (100%), gastrointestinal (GI) (82%), and abdominal pain (68%) were the decisive symptoms for the diagnosis of MIS-C. Shock and/or hypotension were common in patients with MIS-C. Cardiac symptoms (66%) predominated over respiratory (39%) and neurological (28%) symptoms. MIS-C treatment followed the common guidelines for treating children with septic shock and Kawasaki disease (KD) and proved to be effective. Conclusions: This meta-analysis highlights the main clinical symptoms used for the diagnosis of MIS-C, the differences between MIS-C and KD, and the severity of the inflammatory process and urgency for hospital care.

Caffeine is a naturally occurring alkaloid found in various plants. It acts as a stimulant, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and even an aid in pain management, and is found in several over-the-counter medications. This naturally derived bioactive compound is the best-known ingredient in coffee and other beverages, such as tea, soft drinks, and energy drinks, and is the most widely consumed substance worldwide. Therefore, it is extremely important to research the effects of this substance on the human body. With this in mind, caffeine and its derivatives have been extensively studied to evaluate its ability to prevent diseases and exert anti-aging and neuroprotective effects. This review is intended to provide an overview of the effects of caffeine on cancer, cardiovascular, immunological, inflammatory, and neurological diseases, among others. The heavily researched area of caffeine in sports will also be discussed. Finally, recent advances in the development of novel formulations, in the form of dietary supplements of caffeine and nanocarriers, to enhance the bioavailability of caffeine and its beneficial effects will be discussed. On the other hand, caffeine may contribute to elevated blood pressure, anemia, and migraine.

Aim The primary aim of the study is to determine the efficacy of the placement of an onlay mesh for prevention of incisional hernia after loop ileostomy closure Material & Methods This is a multicentric, prospective, randomized controlled trial including patients operated on for loop ileostomy closure after a prior rectal resection for rectal cancer. In the control group (C), after the digestive tract is reconstructed, the closure of the abdominal wall is performed by a 4:1 ratio running suture of polydioxanone. Patients in the study group (M) had the same closure procedure performed, and a light polypropilene mesh is placed onlay. The presence of incisional hernia was evaluated by physical examination at scheduled clinical visits and radiologically by an abdominal CT scan performed at the end of follow-up (6 month after surgery) Results 58 patients were included (27 in control group and 31 in mesh group) . Both groups had similar characteristics, except for a higher rate of smokers in the control group (48% vs 6%). During the follow-up, 5% of patients developed an incisional hernia (Group M 0 vs Group C 11%). At 30 days of follow-up 5 (16%) surgical site occurrences were detected in Group M for 4 (15%) in Group C. Conclusions A low incidence of IH after ileostomy closure is detected. All the IH were presented in the control group with no stadistically significant differences between groups. Larger trials with longer follow-up are needed to confirm the results.

In the present study, a numerical model was developed to predict the flow pattern inside a broiler building. The model intends to predict the velocities fields inside the domain and ammonia (NH3) emitted or released by litter from poultry housing. The numerical model developed in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) commercial code, intends to represent a commercial broiler building, and intends to simulate the 3D and heat transfer, in steady state flow. The evaporative cooling pads were also included in the model. The validation of the model was based in experimental measurements obtained in previous studies. The simulations were focused on Summer, Winter and also Mid-Season situation. The numerical results of NH3 concentration were compared with the experimental measurements, and a quite good agreement was verified. The numerical results allowed the characterization of: the inside flow pattern developed for the summer and winter situation; the inside NH3 distribution, and the velocity field distribution inside the broiler building. It was found that NH3 concentration increases along the tunnel, especially in low flow rate imposed from the exhaust fan. Also, it was verified that the low velocities inside domain are no sufficient to remove the gaseous pollutants.

Endothelial dysfunction has been suggested as a potential mechanism contributing to the development and progression of heart failure (HF). Levels of circulating endothelial cells (CECs), endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs), and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) have been recognized as useful markers of vascular damage and endothelial repair in response to tissue injury.To evaluate the circulating levels of EPCs, CECs, and HSPCs among patients with HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).In 82 individuals (42 patients with HFrEF and 42 age-matched subjects without established cardiovascular disease), peripheral blood was drawn and levels of EPCs, CECs, and HSPCs were quantified by flow cytometry.Patients with HFrEF showed lower levels of circulating EPCs (5.28 × 10Circulating levels of EPCs and CECs were significantly decreased in patients with HFrEF in comparison to age-matched subjects without established cardiovascular disease, suggesting that the levels of CECs and EPCs may be potential biomarkers of the cellular response to vascular injury in patients with HFrEF.

This paper aims to present a new method for obtaining an analytical solution for the Kaniadakis Doppler broadening (KDB) function. Also, in this work, we report the computational efficiencies of this solution compared with the numerical one. The solution of the differential equation achieved in this paper is free of approximations and is, consequently, a more robust methodology for obtaining an analytical representation of ψ k . Moreover, the results show an improvement in efficiency using the analytical approximation, indicating that it may be helpful in different applications that require the calculation of the deformed Doppler broadening function.

This study aimed to verify the effects of congested fixture and matches’ participation on internal and external workload indexes in professional Brazilian soccer players. Rate of perceived exertion-based training load (sRPE), distance- and accelerometry-based measures were daily monitored over 119 training sessions and 33 matches performed by 29 male outfield players. Weeks were classified as congested (n = 11, two or more matches within a 7-day period) and regular (n = 10, one match or less within a 7-day period). Despite the ecological importance of fungi, we still know little about their diversity in Canada. One of the largest hurdles to implementing fungal conservation initiatives is the lack of fungal distribution data. As anthropogenic impacts accelerate the speed of environmental change, it is imperative that we fill this major information gap, critical for fungal protection. To gain insight on the conservation status of Canadian macrofungi, we took advantage of the large and growing body of fungal biodiversity data from government research ( Wild Species 2020), citizen science, trained independent mycologists, university, and museum biodiversity research. The majority of macrofungi are data deficient; we do not know their geographic distribution or habitat requirements, occurrence, or abundance in Canada. For mushrooms that fruit only a few days of the year and are often difficult to positively identify, there is a lot of work to overcome the uncertainty of distinguishing under-sampling from rarity. Our work stresses the importance of building a strong network of professional and amateur mycologists to develop resources, disseminate information to make educated decisions, and advance conservation actions. We found that several fungi can be prioritized; we present a short list for consideration for formal conservation assessment.

Canonical sexual reproduction among basidiomycete fungi involves the fusion of two haploid individuals of different sexes, resulting in a heterokaryotic mycelial body made up of genetically different nuclei1. Using population genomics data, we discovered mushrooms of the deadly invasiveAmanita phalloidesare also homokaryotic, evidence of sexual reproduction by single individuals. In California, genotypes of homokaryotic mushrooms are also found in heterokaryotic mushrooms, implying nuclei of homokaryotic mycelia also promote outcrossing. We discovered death cap mating is controlled by a single mating-type locus (A. phalloidesis bipolar), but the development of homokaryotic mushrooms appears to bypass mating-type gene control. Ultimately, sporulation is enabled by nuclei able to reproduce alone as well as with others, and nuclei competent for both unisexuality and bisexuality have persisted in invaded habitats for at least 17 but potentially as long as 30 years. The diverse reproductive strategies of invasive death caps are likely facilitating its rapid spread, revealing a profound similarity between plant, animal and fungal invasions2,3.

In this work, a new analytical approach is proposed for monitoring biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) by combining headspace bar adsorptive microextraction (HS-BAμE) with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The HS-BAμE methodology was developed, optimized, validated and applied for the analysis of BVOCs emitted from two tree species (Eucalyptus globulus Labill. and Pinus pinaster Aiton) and compared with headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME), commonly accepted as a reference technique. To achieve optimum experimental conditions, numerous assays were carried out by both methodologies, studying the release of the five major monoterpenoids (α-pinene, β-pinene, myrcene, limonene and 1,8-cineole) from the leaves of the tree species, whereas the maximum selectivity and efficiency were obtained using an activated carbon and PDMS/DVB fiber as sorbent phases for HS-BAμE and HS-SPME, respectively. Under optimized experimental conditions, both methodologies showed similar profiling and proportional responses, although the latter present a higher sensitivity in the analytical configuration used. For the five monoterpenoids studied, acceptable detection limits (LODs = 5.0 μg L−1) and suitable linear dynamic ranges (20.0–100.0 mg L−1; r2 ≥ 0.9959) were achieved, and intra- and inter-day studies proved that both methodologies exhibited good results (RSD and %RE ≤ 19.9%), which indicates a good fit for the assessment of BVOCs by the HS-BAμE/GC-MS methodology. Assays performed on sampled leaves by both optimized and validated methodologies showed high levels of the five major BVOCs released from E. globulus Labill. (10.2 ± 1.3 to 7828.0 ± 40.0 μg g−1) and P. pinaster Aiton (9.2 ± 1.4 to 3503.8 ± 396.3 μg g−1), which might act as potential fuel during forest fire’s propagation, particularly under extreme atmospheric conditions. This is the first time that BAμE technology was applied in the HS sampling mode, and, in addition to other advantages, it has proven to be an effective and promising analytical alternative for monitoring VOCs, given its great simplicity, easy handling and low cost.

Background: Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an indispensable imaging technique in clinical neuroimaging that quantitatively assesses the diffusivity of water molecules within tissues using Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). This study focuses on developing a robust Machine Learning (ML) model to predict the aggressiveness of gliomas according to World Health Organization (WHO) grading by analyzing patients’ demographics, higher-order moments, and Grey Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) texture features of ADC. Methods: A population of 722 labeled MRI-ADC brain image slices from 88 human subjects was selected, where gliomas are labeled as glioblastoma multiforme (WHO-IV), high-grade glioma (WHO-III), and low-grade glioma (WHO I-II). Images were acquired using 3T-MR systems and a region of interest (ROI) was delineated over tumor areas. Skewness, kurtosis, and statistical texture features of GLCM (mean, variance, energy, entropy, contrast, homogeneity, correlation, prominence, and shade) were calculated using ADC values within ROI. The ANOVA f-test was utilized to select the best features to train an ML model. The data set was split into training (70%) and testing (30%) sets. The train set was fed into several ML algorithms and selected most promising ML algorithm using K-fold cross-validation. The hyper-parameters of the selected algorithm were optimized using random grid search technique. Finally, the performance of the developed model was assessed by calculating accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 values reported for the test set. Results: According to the ANOVA f-test, three attributes; patient gender (1.48), GLCM energy (9.48), and correlation (13.86) that performed minimum scores were excluded from the dataset. Among the tested algorithms, the random forest classifier(0.8772±0.0237) performed the highest score and selected to build the ML model which was able to predict tumor categories with an accuracy of 88.14% over the test set. Conclusion: The study concludes that the developed ML model using the above features except for patient gender, GLCM energy, and correlation, has high prediction accuracy in glioma grading. Therefore, the outcomes of this study enable to development of advanced tumor classification applications that assist in the decision-making process in a real-time clinical environment.

Esta investigação aborda a IoT, e como essa tecnologia auxilia os processos de manutenção de aeronaves, mais especificamente o Boeing 737-800, a fim, também, de avaliar como o contribui para a tomada de decisão, otimização nos processos e planejamento futuro. A tecnologia aplicada na manutenção utilizando pilares da Indústria 4.0, possibilita traçar estratégias capazes de garantir a confiabilidade e disponibilidade dos ativos, mostrando além disso, como é facilitada a manutenção 4.0, detentora de papel fundamental no envio de dados aos componentes eletrônicos, em que se realizam pesquisas de panes para identificação e resolução de problemas. Identificando as barreiras no processo de manutenção preventiva e corretiva em que as tarefas precisam se realizar por profissionais homologados pelo órgão fiscalizador ANAC (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil). Considera-se ao final, que esse novo momento tecnológico favorece maior integridade dos processos contribuindo para o retorno da aeronave ao serviço com segurança e qualidade.

Invasive candidiasis (IC) is a serious infection caused by several Candida species, and the most common fungal disease in hospitals in high-income countries. Despite overall improvements in health systems and ICU care in the last few decades, as well as the development of different antifungals and microbiological techniques, mortality rates in IC have not substantially improved. The aim of this review is to summarize the main issues underlying the management of adults affected by IC, focusing on specific forms of the infection: IC developed by ICU patients, IC observed in haematological patients, breakthrough candidaemia, sanctuary site candidiasis, intra-abdominal infections and other challenging infections. Several key challenges need to be tackled to improve the clinical management and outcomes of IC patients. These include the lack of global epidemiological data for IC, the limitations of the diagnostic tests and risk scoring tools currently available, the absence of standardized effectiveness outcomes and long-term data for IC, the timing for the initiation of antifungal therapy and the limited recommendations on the optimal step-down therapy from echinocandins to azoles or the total duration of therapy. The availability of new compounds may overcome some of the challenges identified and increase the existing options for management of chronic Candida infections and ambulant patient treatments. However, early identification of patients that require antifungal therapy and treatment of sanctuary site infections remain a challenge and will require further innovations.

Objective The present review aims to clarify the relationship of thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin to exercise performance. News The B vitamins thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and niacin (vitamin B3) are hydrophilic vitamins that play a fundamental role as coenzymes in enzymatic reactions of energy metabolism. The increase in energy demand during physical exercise can alter the requirements for these vitamins. Prospects and projects This study is a narrative review which selected and analyzed studies that investigated how the vitamins thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin can affect sports performance in both humans and experimental animal models. Conclusion The research shows that supplementation with these vitamins does not necessarily produce ergogenic effects. Despite their fundamental roles in anabolic pathways, only the intake of thiamine-derivative substances showed some positive effects on exercise performance and fatigue. Isolated riboflavin supplementation did not show positive effects, while there is evidence that high niacin intake can harm exercise performance. Some studies found an increase in excretion and a decrease in the blood levels of these vitamins after exercise, but the results are inconsistent. However, different pharmacokinetics, doses or dosing frequency, and administration route of the supplemented substances can influence the results. There are few studies of B-vitamins and exercise, and most of them are not recent. New studies, with systematically controlled protocols, are necessary to elucidate the real effects of thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin in exercise performance.

Critical illness encompasses a wide spectrum of life-threatening clinical conditions requiring intensive care. Our objective was to evaluate cognitive, inflammatory and cellular metabolism alterations in the central nervous system in an animal model of critical illness induced by zymosan. For this Wistar rats that were divided into Sham and zymosan. Zymozan was administered once intraperitoneally (30 g/100 g body weight) diluted in mineral oil. The animals were submitted to behavioral tests of octagonal maze, inhibitory avoidance and elevated plus maze. Brain structures (cortex, prefrontal and hippocampus) were removed at 24 h, 4, 7 and 15 days after zymosan administration for analysis of cytokine levels (TNF-α, IL-1b, IL-6 and IL-10), oxidative damage and oxygen consumption. Zymosan-treated animals presented mild cognitive impairment both in aversive (inhibitory avoidance) and non-aversive (octagonal maze) tasks by day 15. However, they did not show increase in anxiety (elevated-plus maze). The first neurochemical alteration found was an increase in brain pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α) at day 4th in the hippocampus. In cortex, a late (7 and 15 days) increase in TNF-α was also noted, while the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 decrease from 4 to 15 days. Oxygen consumption was decreased in the hippocampus and pre-frontal, but not cortex, only at 7 days. Additionally, it was observed a late (15 days) increase in oxidative damage parameters. This characterization of brain dysfunction in rodent model of critical illness reproduces some of the alterations reported in humans such neuropsychiatric disorders, especially depression, memory loss and cognitive changes and can add to the nowadays used models.

O Livro é composto por trabalhos publicados no VIII Encontro Nacional da Agroindústria (ENAG), VIII Congresso de Inovação e Tecnologia Agroalimentar (CITAG) e III Encontro do Curso Técnico em Agroindústria (ECTA), foram um evento que trouxe discussões da área científica de alimentos voltada ao controle de qualidade na indústria de alimentos, gestão ambiental dos resíduos agroindustriais, produção e/ou tecnologia animal, vegetal e bebidas, biotecnologia e/ou desenvolvimento de novos produtos agroindustriais, gestão da produção/qualidade, higiene e segurança dos alimentos e vigilância e saúde. Dentre as oportunidades oferecidas aos congressistas, destacam-se: a parceria com a EXPOTEC – Exposição Tecnológica e com o ECTA – Encontro do curso Técnico de Agroindústria do Colégio Agrícola Vidal de Negreiros (CAVN) dois eventos realizados no Campus III da UFPB-CCHSA, eventos consolidados na área de popularização e socialização de conhecimentos técnico-científicos, além da interação entre especialistas, instituições de pesquisa, empresários e empreendedores dos mais diversos setores da área da agroindústria e áreas afins. Isto garante que o conhecimento seja compartilhado em todos os aspectos.
