A Mo middling has been obtained through Cu-Mo bulk flotation. In order to further enrich molybdenite and separate pyrite form this middling. A series flotation tests were conducted to concentrate Mo. Important parameters including regrinding fineness, CaO dosage and cleaning flotation stages were optimized to enhance Mo enrichment. In addition, a close-circuit flotation test was conducted under optimum parameters and a Mo concentrate with 22.92% of Mo grade and 93.75% of Mo recovery was obtained, which satisfied the plant requirement.

Phosphate being one of the three major nutrients required for agricultural plant growth usually presents as collophane in China. Since fine phosphate and other gauge minerals associate with each other and form intergrowth, the beneficiation of collophane is extremely difficult. In this paper, the flotation strategy for a low grade collophane ore from Guizhou province in China was studied in detail. Direct, reverse and direct-reverse combined flotation sheets were employed to collophane flotation. The results reveal that direct-reverse flotation is a suitable flotation flow sheet for this collophane ore. With direct-reverse flotation sheet, the grade of P2O5 in concentrate is 33%, which is improved by 3% comparing direct flotation and P2O5 recovery could achieve 80%. In addition, content of MgO decreased to 0.9%, which satisfied the requirement of wet-process phosphoric acid.

Phosphate is a typical oxide ore characterizing that generating abundant froth during flotation. In this research a new flotation machine was employed in the flotation of phosphate. Comparing to regular flotation machine, in the reverse flotation of dolomite the recovery and grade of MgO has no significance improvement. While, in the case of reverse flotation of silicon dioxide, the new flotation machine has significance advantage. In 5 minutes of flotation time, the yield of froth is 20.66% with new machine, which equals to yield using regular machine under 8 minutes. The flotation time has been shorten by new machine. In addition, the recovery of silicon dioxide improved by 6% and the grade of silicon dioxide in phosphate concentrate decreased by 1.3% comparing the regular flotation machine. The results demonstrate that new flotation machine is more suitable and efficient for phosphate flotation

Raman tweezers is used to probe the oxygen carrying capacity of erythrocytes.The effects of laser power on erythrocytes are compared.An indicator for distinguishing oxygenated and deoxygenated erythrocytes is chosen and utilized to analyze the oxygen carrying capacity of erythrocytes from different storage time and different health state.The result shows that strong power of laser led to the bands at 1 248,1 371 cm-1,the markers of heme aggregation,increasing.The ratio I1 638/I1 547,a well indicator for distinguishing oxygenated state from deoxygenated state,reveals that the oxygen binding capacity of preserved erythrocytes increase as storage time extending,while the deoxidization capacity is not change significantly.Erythrocytes from HbH-CS,an alpha-thalassemia disease,are easier to oxygenate than normal controls,but difficult to deoxygenate.The findings demonstrate Raman tweezers can be a rapid,non-invasive,sensitive technique for analyzing and evaluating the oxygen carrying capacity of erythrocytes.

Taking into account three basic pedestrian behaviors, namely the position-exchange, lateral-move and step back, we proposed an improved cellular automaton model to simulated pedestrian counter flow with different velocities in subterranean channel. We compared cellular automaton model with Weng's model. By computer simulation, the improved model is proved to be more efficient. Moreover, pedestrians in the system tend to have higher mean velocity and lower occupancy density.
