The renewable energy systems can use different types of storage: electrochemical batteries, supercapacitors, superconducting units, rotary, pneumatic and others. The article deals with the design size sets of batteries to allow short-term deposit of the required amount of electricity. Miesto akumulačných prvkov vo všetkých systémoch je objektívne nevyhnutná. Rovnako aj v energetických systémoch OZE je ich úloha nenahraditeľná. V systémoch OZE je možné použiť rôzne typy zásobníkov: elektrochemické akumulátory, superkondenzátory, supravodičové jednotky, rotačné, tlakovzdušné a iné. Tieto zásobníky sú označované ako krátkodobé, aby zosúladili výrobu elektrickej energie a jej spotrebu. Článok sa zaoberá návrhom veľkosti zostavy akumulátorov tak, aby umožnili krátkodobé uloženie požadovaného množstva elektrickej energie.

Vplyv bohatých a mocných však smeruje všetky výhody ku svojmu prospechu a bez ohľadu na radových občanov. Spoločnosť sa tak deformuje, čo sa prejavuje na ničení životného prostredia. Možnosť, ako zmierniť tlak sociálnych zákonov, je využívať obnoviteľné zdroje energie. Posilní sa tak odolnosť proti prípadným výpadkom z rôznych príčin. Jednu zo základných otázok implementácie obnoviteľných zdrojov energie je návratnosť nákladov, ktorú ale treba hodnotiť celkom z iného uhla pohľadu.

For renewable energy systems, designed for remote area systems without connection to the grid, are also crucially important to energy storage. It was analyzed the electric battery as short-term energy storage for photovoltaic power system. The battery's operation is sensitive to operating conditions such as temperature or vibrations, the cycle of operation, type of operation, which directly limits its lifetime. At the article end is analyzed possible approaches to design battery assembly for a specific application of the remote area systems with renewable energy. Činnosť energetických systémov bez výpadkov, sú závislé od zásobníkov energie. V článku sú ukázané príklady zásobníkov biologických, technických alebo spoločenských funkčných celkoch. Pre obnoviteľné systémy energie, určené pre ostrovné systémy bez možnosti pripojenia do rozvodnej siete, sú tiež kľúčovo dôležité zásobníky energie. Článok také nadväzuje na problematiku publikovanú na konferencii NZEE 2012. Analyzovaný bol elektrický akumulátor, ako krátkodobý zásobník energie pre fotovoltaický energetický systém. Akumulátor je z hľadiska prevádzky citlivý na podmienky prevádzky ako je teplota, prípadné otrasy, cyklus prevádzky, druh prevádzky, čo priamo limituje jeho životnosť. V závere sú analyzované možné prístupy k návrhu zostavy akumulátorov pre konkrétnu aplikáciu ostrovného systému s obnoviteľným zdrojom elektrickej energie.

The article concerns technical aspects of new concentrating solar thermo-mechanic conversion from the point of view of automated control algorithms of solar thermal motor working on a principle of modified Clausius-Rankin's thermal circulation. On the basis of the proposed algorithms for controlling of thermodynamic processes of the functional model of the solar thermal motor, which uses internal-system absorption of incoming heat radiation, double-step steam generation and regeneration of out coming heat, the design and the testing of controlling single-chip microprocessor electronics with specially designed software was executed.

Two proportionality based gradient methods for the solution of large convex bound constrained quadratic programming problems, MPRGP (Modified Proportioning with Reduced Gradient Projections) and P2GP (Proportionality-based Two-phase Gradient Projection) are presented and applied to the solution of auxiliary problems in the inner loop of an augmented lagrangian algorithm called SMALBE (Semi-monotonic Augmented Lagrangian for Bound and Equality constraints). The SMALBE algorithm is used to generate the Lagrange multipliers for the equality constraints. The performance of the algorithms is tested on the solution of the discretized contact problems by means of TFETI (Total Finite Element Tearing and Interconnecting).
