Objective: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Family Therapy Based on metacognitive therapy and Mindfulness on Marital Intimacy among divorce applicant clients. Method: The design of the study is an experimental research with pretest and posttest with a control group. The study population includes all divorce applicant clients referring to well-being and counseling agencies of Sanandaj city, located in Kurdistan province, in 2011. Sixty-six clients were selected from among the population using random sampling and then, they were divided into three groups of 22 using random assignment method. The independent variable of marital intimacy was measured among divorce applicant clients (pretest) using the marital intimacy questionnaire (Oliya et al., 2006) and after intervening two experimental groups for 8 sessions, the dependent variable was again calculated for three groups (posttest). Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to examine the effect of pretest and treatment. Findings: The results of multivariate covariance analysis showed that there is a signifiant difference between divorce applicant clients in experimental and control groups in terms of the dependent variable of intimacy (P< 0/0001). Conclusion: Therefore, all hypotheses concerning the effectiveness of family therapy based on metacognitive therapy and mindfulness on marital intimacy among divorce applicant clients were confimed. The results also showed that the two methods of mindfulness and metacognitive therapy have almost the same effect.

The present research consists of comparing Quality of Life for the men in monogamy and polygamy families at Sistan & Baluchestan. Its statistical population includes all the married men in families at Sistan & Baluchestan. And from among the cities in this province, Saravan city was selected randomly. And 50 monogamous men and 50 polygamous men (2 wives) were selected with the method of “Snow shot ". The research method is causal and comparative and for analyzing data, the method of descriptive statistics (frequency, percent, average, and standard deviation) and inferential were used. The tool for collecting data is BREF questionnaire for Life Quality. And the results of the research indicate that Life Quality for monogamous men is more than polygamous men in 3 sub-scales of psychological health, social health, and environmental health, but there is no significant difference in sub-scale of physical health. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive – behavioral method in reducing mother’s stress of child with mental retardation less than 6 years old covered of Khorramabad province welfare organization (2012). The statistical society of this study consisted of 52 mothers of child with mental retardation who their children had file in the welfare office. 30 persons were selected by simple random sampling and were divided into two groups including trial group (15 persons) and control group (15 persons).The method of study was quasi – experimental way with control group and random trial and data gathering tool such as Friedrich, Greenberg and Crink resources and stress questionnaire. To perform the study; the first step was pretest trial and control group and then 10 group counseling sessions with cognitive- behavioral method had hold among trial group. The control group’s mothers did not receive any counseling. Then, it established post – testing of both group again and another test provided to following – up step for two weeks after test.The result of variance analysis with repeated measurements showed that, there is significant difference in percentage1 level between control and trial groups post – test and follow – up scores, so, the first hypothesis of this study had approved upon group counseling efficacy with cognitive – behavioral method in reducing mother’s stress of child with mental retardation. In addition, these results showed that group counseling with cognitive – behavioral method has been established significant reduction in percentage 1 level physical and emotional symptoms of trial groups’ mothers, but it did not find the significant difference in the cognitive symptoms.
