With the economic development in China, the hotel industry has grown along with the tourism industry. However, with the emergence of hotels of the same type and the renewal of consumers' consumption habits, online travel agency platforms are becoming more and more valuable as a guideline for consumers. This study analyzes users’ tendency in the process of consumption experience and the relationship between review texts and ratings of two five-star hotels close to each other to address this phenomenon. This paper mainly uses the Jieba splitter and TF-IDF algorithm to analyze. Accroding to the analysis, users are more concerned about facilities, services, and hygiene, while high-frequency words are negatively correlated with ratings indicating that user reviews are mainly complaint-oriented. This paper explores the service focus of the hospitality industry in the new business model from the platform reviews and provides guidance for future five-star hotels to improve their ratings and positive reviews in a targeted manner.

Purpose. Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder with high rate of prevalence, persistence, and leads to negative consequences. The mainstays of insomnia treatment have limitations due to either the side effects of hypnotics or limited accessibility to cognitive behavioral therapy. This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Zaoren Anshen capsule alone or as an adjunct treatment with different doses of the nonbenzodiazepine medication zolpidem tartrate in treating insomnia. Method. This randomized, double-blind, multicentre placebo control trial was conducted in 131 patients with chronic insomnia. The patients were randomly assigned to one of the following four regimen groups: Group ZA + Z5 : Zaoren Anshen capsule and 5 mg zolpidem tartrate (n = 32); Group Z5: 5 mg zolpidem tartrate and placebo capsule (n = 35); Group Z10 : 10 mg zolpidem tartrate and placebo capsule (n = 32); Group ZA : Zaoren Anshen capsule and placebo pill (n = 32). The drugs were administered for 4 weeks. All patients were evaluated by the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) at 0, 2, 4, 5, and 6 weeks, and adverse events were recorded. Result. There are significant differences in the comparison between the four groups at each treatment stage ( P < 0.05 ). Repeated measurement analysis of variance (ANOVA) of ISI scores in each treatment stage of the four groups exhibits significant differences in time effect, intergroup effect, and interaction effect ( P < 0.05 ). After four weeks of drug administration, the treatment efficacy is similar in Groups ZA + Z5 and Z10 (93%) and in Groups Z5 and ZA (62% and 65%, respectively). Groups ZA + Z5 and Z10 present significantly lower ISI scores compared with Groups Z5 and ZA ( P < 0.05 ), which indicates better treatment response of Groups ZA + Z5 and Z10. No significant difference was observed in the incidence of adverse events between the groups. Conclusion. Zaoren Anshen capsule can effectively treat insomnia disorder either alone or in combination with zolpidem tartrate. A preferred combination of TCM Zaoren Anshen capsule with zolpidem can provide a magnified therapeutic efficacy with fewer side effects than zolpidem-only management, clinical trial registration number: Chinese Clinical Trial Registry ChiCTR-IPR-1600969.

Electron correlations amplify quantum fluctuations and, as such, they have been recognized as the origin of a rich landscape of quantum phases. Whether and how they lead to gapless topological states is an outstanding question, and a framework that allows for determining novel phases and identifying new materials is in pressing need. Here we advance a general approach, in which strong correlations cooperate with crystalline symmetry to drive gapless topological states. We test this materials design principle by exploring Kondo lattice models and materials whose space group symmetries may promote different kinds of electronic degeneracies, with a particular focus on square-net systems. Weyl-Kondo nodal-line semimetals -- with nodes pinned to the Fermi energy -- are identified. We describe how this approach can be applied to discover strongly correlated topological semimetals, identify three heavy fermion compounds as new candidates, provide first direct experimental evidence for our prediction in Ce$_2$Au$_3$In$_5$, and discuss how our approach may lead to many more. The augmented reality-assisted navigation system (AR-ANS) has been initially applied to the management of hepatolithiasis. The current study examines the safety and efficacy of the AR-ANS for hepatectomy in the treatment of hepatolithiasis. It is the first study to assess the preoperative and long-term outcomes of hepatectomy guided by the AR-ANS for hepatolithiasis.From January 2018 to December 2021, 77 patients with hepatolithiasis who underwent hepatectomy at Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University were included. The subjects were divided into the AR group (n = 31) and the non-AR group (n = 46) according to whether the surgery was guided by the AR-ANS. Clinical baseline features, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, immediate postoperative residual stone rate, postoperative stone recurrence rate at 6 months, and postoperative complications were analyzed.There was no significant difference between preoperative baseline data from the 2 groups (p0.05). The AR group had a longer surgical time than the non-AR group (p0.001). The intraoperative blood loss in the AR group was lower than in the non-AR group (p0.001). Alanine transaminase, aminotransferase, immediate residual stone rate, and stone recurrence rate in the AR group were lower than in the non-AR group (p0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the 2 groups.The application of the AR-ANS in hepatectomy for hepatolithiasis has not only achieved satisfactory therapeutic efficacy, but has also shown significant advantages in reducing intraoperative blood loss, immediate stone residual rate, and stone recurrence rate, which has clinical promotion value.

Polyaniline (PANI) as the cathode material has caused great concern in aluminum-ion batteries (AIBs) due to the low cost of raw materials, simple synthesis, good chemical stability and electrochemical reversibility. However, the effect of different doping acids on the electrochemical performance of PANI cathode has not been investigated. Background: Compared with isolated mitral valve replacement (MVR) or isolated coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), MVR + CABG surgery is associated with higher mortality and complication rate. This study investigated the safety and efficacy of the myocardial protection technique to short cardioplegic arrest time in patients who underwent MVR + CABG. Methods:This study enrolled patients diagnosed with mitral valve disease and coronary artery disease who underwent MVR + CABG between January 2014 and January 2022. The patients were divided into the CABG without cardioplegic arrest (CA) group (novel group) and CABG with CA group (conventional group) according to surgical methods. The baseline data of the two groups of patients were corrected by the propensity score matching (PSM) method. Endpoints assessed were operative mortality (OM), major morbidity (MM)and 5-year follow-up clinical outcomes. Results: 810 patients (256 in the novel group and 554 in the conventional group) were enrolled in this study. PSM resulted in a total of 460 patients (230 pairs). There was no significant difference in OM between the two groups (6.5% vs 10.8%, P= 0.098). The MM was significantly lower in the novel group than the conventional group (24.3% vs 33.9%, P= 0.024). Mean operation time (285 ± 55 vs 298 ± 60 minutes, P= 0.016), cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) time (115 ± 33 vs 139 ± 38 minutes, P < 0.001), CA time (66 ± 11 vs 85 ± 16 minutes, P < 0.001), intensive care unit stay time (33.6 ± 12.3 vs 36.6 ± 14.5 hours, P = 0.017) and post-operative length of stay (11.1 ± 3.6 vs 11.9 ± 4.1 days, P = 0.027) were significantly shorter in the novel group than in the conventional group. There was no significant difference between the novel group and the conventional group in terms of death from any cause, valve-related complications, myocardial infarction and any repeat revascularisation in 5 years follow-up. Conclusions: The novel group is associated with excellent short-term outcomes and comparable medium-term outcomes for patients undergoing MVR + CABG. Myocardial protection strategy to short cardioplegic arrest time in patients undergoing MVR + CABG was surgically feasible, reproducible, and safe.

Rechargeable aluminum ion batteries (AIBs) have attracted substantial interest due to their high theoretical energy density, low cost, and high security. However, the low-energy density and high-cost of the reported cathode materials hinder their further development. Herein, a Se-based 6-electron Al-Se battery was generated by activating the highly reversible Se(−II)/Se(0) couple into Se(0)/Se(IV) couple in AlCl3-based ionic liquid electrolyte, which exhibited an ultra-high theoretical specific capacity (2036 mAh g−1). For further activating the Se cathode and addressing the shuttle effect of the soluble products, the Se/graphene aerogel (Se/GA) and carbon-based modified separator with oxygen-containing functional groups (O-CNT) were collectively employed to promote stable high-energy density for Al-Se battery. Consequently, GA improved the utilization of Se cathode and reduced its overpotential, delivering super-high specific capacity with a sufficient voltage discharge plateau at au. 1.9 V. However, the O-CNT separator effectively blocked these Se-based cationic clusters, such as Sen2+ and SeCl3+, by a dual defense mechanism that integrated the physical barrier of porous structure and powerful chemical adsorption ability of the carboxyl (–COOH) group. Then, a high energy density of 1957 Wh kg−1 (1599 mAh g−1) was delivered at 100 mA g−1 and 624 Wh kg−1 (580 mAh g−1) at 1000 mA g−1. Furthermore, the Al-Se battery exhibited outstanding cycling performance of 421 Wh kg−1 (395 mAh g−1) at 1000 mA g−1 after 200 cycles with the record-setting cyclic performance achieved in the documented AIBs. These results provide useful insight into and a versatile strategy for boosting the performance of Al-Se battery.

Public transit offers older adults an important alternative travel mode for accessing social activity destinations. Given the growing size and socioeconomic diversity of the older population, transportation planners should consider how current urban transit systems can better meet their needs. In this study, we examine the time-varying accessibility to senior centers by public transit in each census tract of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Senior centers are community service and activity hubs for older adults which are typically overseen by the local area agency on aging. They offer a variety of services and social activities for older adults, including free meals, volunteering opportunities, information, and technology training. Using General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data and socioeconomic data from the U.S. Census Bureau, we analyze how accessibility varies across census tracts with respect to the tract's share of older adults, particularly those in vulnerable subgroups. We found that accessibility to senior centers declines from the downtown area to the suburbs but varies considerably among the vulnerable subgroups studied. We also found that when accounting for the open hours of senior centers, accessibility to senior centers is generally lower around midday (2 PM) than during peak hours (8:30 AM) on Mondays. We used the vertical equity index to examine social disparities in accessibility among older adults. We found that while SEPTA underserves neighborhoods with higher shares of older adults, tracts with higher shares of some vulnerable subgroups are better served than those with lower shares. Specifically, neighborhoods with higher shares of households that have no cars are better served than those with higher shares of African American and Hispanic older adults. These results suggest that the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) should work together to better accommodate the diverse travel needs of older adults.

Genomic data have demonstrated considerable traction in accelerating contemporary studies in traditional medicine. However, the lack of a uniform format and dispersed storage limits the full potential of herb genomic data. In this study, we developed a Global Pharmacopoeia Genome Database (GPGD). The database contains 34,346 records for 903 herb species from eight global pharmacopoeias (Brazilian, Egyptian, European, Indian, Japanese, Korean, the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China, and U.S. Pharmacopoeia’s Herbal Medicines Compendium). In particular, the GPGD contains 21,872 DNA barcodes from 867 species, 2,203 organelle genomes from 674 species, 55 whole genomes from 49 species, 534 genomic sequencing datasets from 366 species, and 9,682 transcriptome datasets from 350 species. Among the organelle genomes, 534 genomes from 366 species were newly generated in this study. Whole genomes, organelle genomes, genomic fragments, transcriptomes, and DNA barcodes were uniformly formatted and arranged by species. The GPGD is publicly accessible at http://www.gpgenome.com and serves as an essential resource for species identification, decomposition of biosynthetic pathways, and molecular-assisted breeding analysis. Thus, the database is an invaluable resource for future studies on herbal medicine safety, drug discovery, and the protection and rational use of herbal resources. CO2 emission reduction has become a consensus all around the world. This paper investigates the spatiotemporal characteristics of industrial land carbon emission intensity (ILCEI) in China by spatial autocorrelation analysis, and applies the spatial Durbin model to reveal the influence of driving factors on ILCEI. The results indicate the following: (1) national ILCEI first shows a downward and then an upward trend during the period and presents a low pattern in both Eastern and Northeastern regions and a high pattern in the Northwestern region. (2) From a global perspective, ILCEI shows significant spatial agglomeration characteristics; from a local perspective, ILCEI is dominated by H-H and L-L agglomeration types, showing that spatial heterogeneity and spatial dependence are apparent in ILCEI. (3) ILCEI is significantly negatively affected by both R & D personnel and foreign-trade dependence, while urban population density notably has positive impacts on ILCEI. This paper is a beneficial policy practice for harmonizing the contradiction between industrial land expansion and carbon discharge.

The literature about changes in land use includes many studies of global sustainable development goals, while studies of transport land expansion have been relatively scarce. In this paper, we present an analysis of the spatiotemporal characteristics of transport land expansion in China’s 31 provinces from 2009 to 2017, applying the spatial Dubin model to identify the factors that influenced changes in per capita transport land area (PCTLA). The eastern and western regions have continued to lead the nation in terms of the total area dedicated to transport land. The expansion speed of transport land in the central and western regions, however, has been faster than in the eastern and northeast regions. As for PCTLA, the western region had the greatest amount and the central region the least. Further, PCTLA showed significant spatial autocorrelation. Economic development, government regulations, industrial structure, and the extent of opening up and urbanization had significant positive impacts on PCTLA, while the development of railway freight had a negative impact. This paper concludes with some policy suggestions for optimizing transport investment, accelerating the adjustment of industrial structure and transport structure, and implementing high-quality urbanization. The results should be of interest to those involved in the sustainable development of transport systems.

Background In China, where Rheumatic heart disease is still prevalent, two thirds of valve replacements are in mitral position. Before a valve replacement operation is conducted, most patients have reached Class III/IV heart function under the New York Heart Association (NYHA) classification system. As the background to this disease is quite different to that of degenerated cases, which are more prevalent in Western countries, the development of an artificial heart valve that is suitable for local patients is very significant for China. In this medium long-term clinical follow-up study, a data analysis was conducted of domestic heart valve production for mitral replacement. Methods A total of 288 patients who underwent mitral valve replacements from 2005 to 2015 at 2 cardiac surgery centres (i.e., The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, and The First People's Hospital of Yulin) were evaluated. All implanted bioprostheses were BalMedic® bovine pericardial bioprosthetic valves, which had been granted marketing approval by the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) in 2003. Double valve cases that involved both aortic and mitral replacements were not included in the study. On average, patients were aged 54.5±10.8 (range, 11 to 77 years) before the procedure. The mean follow-up period was 7.2±2.6 years. The study examined the overall survival (OS) curve, and different age group results. To gain further insights into the functions of the valves, the OS curve and the age group results for the reoperation-free and structural valve deterioration (SVD)-free rates are also presented. Results The 10-year OS rate was 65.6%, the 10-year reoperation-free rate was 76.3%, and the 10-year SVD-free rate was 58.0%. In relation to the age group results, younger patients had higher survival rates, while older patients had higher reoperation-free rates and SVD-free rates. Conclusions In relation to the medium long-term clinical follow-up results, the durability performance of the BalMedic® bovine pericardial valve in the mitral position was satisfactory, especially among patients whose heart function was worse than that of Western sufferers. Survival rate, reoperation-free rate and SVD-free rate were used for the comprehensive analysis.

Ginseng, also known as the king of herbs, has been regarded as an important traditional medicine for several millennia. Ginsenosides, a group of triterpenoid saponins, have been characterized as bioactive compounds of ginseng. The complexity of ginsenosides hindered ginseng research and development both in cultivation and clinical research. Therefore, deciphering the ginsenoside biosynthesis pathway has been a focus of interest for researchers worldwide. The new emergence of biological research tools consisting of omics and bioinformatic tools or computational biology tools are the research trend in the new century. Ginseng is one of the main subjects analyzed using these new quantification tools, including tools of genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics. Here, we review the current progress of ginseng omics research and provide results for the ginsenoside biosynthesis pathway. Organization and expression of the entire pathway, including the upstream MVA pathway, the cyclization of ginsenoside precursors, and the glycosylation process, are illustrated. Regulatory gene families such as transcriptional factors and transporters are also discussed in this review.

Polygonum is a generalized genus of the Polygonaceae family that includes various herbaceous plants. In order to provide aid in understanding the evolutionary and phylogenetic relationship in Polygonum at the chloroplast (cp) genome-scale level, we sequenced and annotated the complete chloroplast genomes of four Polygonum species using next-generation sequencing technology and CpGAVAS. Then, repeat sequences, IR contractions, and expansion and transformation sites of chloroplast genomes of four Polygonum species were studied, and a phylogenetic tree was built using the chloroplast genomes of Polygonum. The results indicated that the chloroplast genome construction of Polygonum also displayed characteristic four types of results, comparable to the published chloroplast genome of recorded angiosperms. The chloroplast genomes of the four Polygonum plants are highly consistent in genome size (159,015 bp–163,461 bp), number of genes (112 genes, including 78 protein-coding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes), gene types, gene order, codon usage, and repeat sequence distribution, which identifies the high preservation among the Polygonum chloroplast genomes. The Polygonum phylogenetic tree was recreated by a full sequence of the chloroplast genome, which illustrates that the P. bistorta, P. orientale, and P. perfoliatum are divided into the same branch, and P. aviculare belongs to Fallopia. The precise system site of lots base parts requires further verification, but the study would provide a basis for developing the available genetic resources and evolutionary relationships of Polygonum.

Aluminum-ion batteries (AIBs) are a type of promising energy storage device due to their high capacity, high charge transfer efficiency, low cost, and high safety. However, the most investigated graphitic and metal dichalcogenide cathodes normally possess only a moderate capacity and a relatively low cycling stability, respectively, which limit the further development of high-performance AIBs. Here, based on the results of first principles calculations, we developed a polyaniline/graphene oxide composite that exhibited outstanding performances as a cathode material in AIBs (delivering 180 mA h g− after 4000 cycles), considering both the discharge capacity and the cycling performance. Ex-situ characterizations verified that the charge storage mechanism of polyaniline depended on the moderate interactions between −NH in the polyaniline chain and the electrolyte anions, such as AlCl4−. These findings lay the foundation of the development of high-performance AIBs based on conducting polymers.

Collision between the Indian and Eurasian plates formed the ~2500 ​km long Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone and produced the Himalaya mountains and Tibetan plateau. Here we offer a new explanation for tectonic events leading to this collision: that the northward flight of India was caused by an Early Cretaceous episode of subduction initiation on the southern margin of Tibet. Compiled data for ophiolites along the Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone show restricted ages between 120 ​Ma and 130 ​Ma, and their supra-subduction zone affinities are best explained by seafloor spreading in what became the forearc of a north-dipping subduction zone on the southern margin of Tibet. The subsequent evolution of this new subduction zone is revealed by integrating data for arc-related igneous rocks of the Lhasa terrane and Xigaze forearc basin deposits. Strong slab pull from this new subduction zone triggered the rifting of India from East Gondwana in Early Cretaceous time and pulled it northward to collide with Tibet in Early Paleogene time.

Panax ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Mey.) is a perennial herb of the genus ginseng, which is used as medicine with dried roots and rhizomes. With the deepening of research on ginseng, the chemical components and pharmacological effects of ginseng have gradually been discovered. Endophytes are beneficial to host plants. However, the composition of endophytes in different organs from ginseng is poorly elucidated. The report of ginsenoside production by endophytic microbes isolated from Panax sp., motivated us to explore the endophytic microbial diversity related to the roots, stems, and leaves. In this study, the V5-V7 variable region of endophytic bacteria 16S rRNA gene and V1 variable region of endophytic fungi ITS gene in different organs were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing. The diversity and abundance of endophytic microbes in the three organs are different and are affected by the organs. For example, the most abundant endophytic bacterial genera in roots was Mycobacterium; while, the stems and leaves were Ochrobactrum. Similarly, the fungal endophytes, Coniothyrium and Cladosporium, were also found in high abundance in stems, in comparison to roots and leaves. Inter-city mobility is one of the most important issues in the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as it is essential to access the regional labour market, goods and services, and to constrain the spread of infectious diseases. Although the gravity model has been proved to be an effective model to describe mobility among settlements, knowledge is still insufficient in regions where dozens of megacities interact closely and over 100 million people reside. In addition, the existing knowledge is limited to overall population mobility, while the difference in inter-city travel with different purposes is unexplored on such a large geographic scale. We revisited the gravity laws of inter-city mobility using the 2.12 billion trip chains recorded by 40.48 million mobile phone users’ trajectories in the Jing-Jin-Ji Region, which contains China’s capital Beijing. Firstly, unlike previous studies, we found that non-commuting rather than commuting is the dominant type of inter-city mobility (89.3%). Non-commuting travellers have a travel distance 42.3% longer than commuting travellers. Secondly, we developed more accurate gravity models for the spatial distribution of inter-city commuting and non-commuting travel. We also found that inter-city mobility has a hierarchical structure, as the distribution of inter-city travel volume follows Zipf’s law. In particular, the hierarchy of non-commuting travel volume among the cities is more in line with an ideal Zipf distribution than commuting travel. Our findings contribute to new knowledge on basic inter-city mobility laws, and they have significant applications for regional policies on human mobility.

Single view-based reconstruction of hand-object interaction is challenging due to the severe observation missing caused by occlusions. This paper proposes a physics-based method to better solve the ambiguities in the reconstruction. It first proposes a force-based dynamic model of the in-hand object, which not only recovers the unobserved contacts but also solves for plausible contact forces. Next, a confidence-based slide prevention scheme is proposed, which combines both the kinematic confidences and the contact forces to jointly model static and sliding contact motion. Qualitative and quantitative experiments show that the proposed technique reconstructs both physically plausible and more accurate hand-object interaction and estimates plausible contact forces in real-time with a single RGBD sensor., Comment: Accepted to SIGGRAPH Asia 2022, Conference Track

Open access funding enabled and organized by Projekt DEAL., The Greater Antilles islands of Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and Jamaica plus the Virgin Islands host fragments of the fossil convergent margin that records Cretaceous subduction (operated for about 90 m.y.) of the American plates beneath the Caribbean plate and ensuing arc-continent collision in Late Cretaceous-Eocene time. The “soft” collision between the Greater Antilles Arc (GAA) and the Bahamas platform (and the margin of the Maya Block in western Cuba) preserved much of the convergent margin. This fossil geosystem represents an excellent natural laboratory for studying the formation and evolution of an intraoceanic convergent margin. We compiled geochronologic (664 ages) and geochemical data (more than 1,500 analyses) for GAA igneous and metamorphic rocks. The data was classified with a simple fourfold subdivision: fore-arc mélange, fore-arc ophiolite, magmatic arc, and retro-arc to inspect the evolution of GAA through its entire lifespan. The onset of subduction recorded by fore-arc units, together with the oldest magmatic arc sequence shows that the GAA started in Early Cretaceous time and ceased in Paleogene time. The arc was locally affected (retro-arc region in Hispaniola) by the Caribbean Large Igneous Province (CLIP) in Early Cretaceous and strongly in Late Cretaceous time. Despite multiple biases in the database presented here, this work is intended to help overcome some of the obstacles and motivate systematic study of the GAA. Our results encourage exploration of offshore regions, especially in the east where the forearc is submerged.
