Under the influence of Covid-19, people are spending more time and money on online and video games. Additionally, It has also been proved that the online gaming industry is a promising investment target. Activision Blizzard, one of the biggest video game companies in the world, is been taken as an example to analyze the investment value of this industry. Recently, Microsoft announced its intention of acquiring Activision Blizzard and it brought up the topic of whether to invest in Activision Blizzard. This paper introduces the company, Activision Blizzard, through the video game industry, background information, activity, and the acquisition by Microsoft. The SWOT analysis method is used to study its financial situation and the investment suggestion is finally proposed.

Due to the complex storage environment, paper documents will suffer different degrees of damage during storage. Studying the aging behavior of paper after strengthening treatment is an important aspect of evaluate the effect of strengthening agent treatment. In this paper, the aging resistance properties of base paper, APTES, AEAPMDMS, and APTES/AEAPMDMS reinforced samples after dry heat aging and moist heat aging were studied. The results show that in the early stage of aging, the amorphous region of the fiber is mainly degraded gradually. With the passage of time, the crystalline region of cellulose is also degraded continuously, and the crystalline region of cellulose is degraded more significantly during moist heat aging. Compared with the base paper, the AAAS reinforced paper sample can significantly slow down the aging and degradation of the paper sample and has better aging resistance.

Objectives. Insulin resistance is associated with the prognosis of heart failure (HF) patients. The triglyceride glucose (TyG) index is a simple marker of insulin resistance. However, it remains unclear whether the TyG index is associated with the incidence of readmission in patients with HF. Methods. We enrolled 901 patients with completed records on serum triglyceride and glucose in our study. The TyG index was calculated as log (fasting triglycerides (mg/dL) x fasting glucose (mg/dL)/2). There were 310 cases of readmission and the average TyG index was 7.8 ± 0.7. Restricted cubic spline was fitted to explore the linearity of TyG index associating with 6-month readmission of HF patients. Logistic regression analysis was performed to explore the association between TyG index quartile and the incidence of 6-month readmission. Results. Only the 6-month readmission was significantly different among TyG quartiles, and it was the highest (41.9%) in the lowest quartile (ranging 6.17∼7.36). the TyG index was nonlinearly associated with 6-month readmission ( p for nonlinearity = 0.009), with the lower level of TyG index increasing the risk of 6-month readmission. Besides, multivariable logistic analysis showed that the lowest TyG quartile was associated with a higher incidence of 6-month readmission in the unadjusted model (odds ratio [OR] 1.74, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.18–2.57; p = 0.005 ), partially adjusted model (OR 1.82, 95%CI 1.22–2.72; p = 0.004 ), and fully-adjusted model (OR 1.65, 95%CI 1.09–2.45; p = 0.024 ). The association was consistent across gender and diabetes group. Conclusion. A lower TyG index independently increased the risk of 6-month readmission in HF patients, which could be a prognostic factor in heart failure.

PAAs can be further functionalized (hydroxylation and alkoxylation) by side chain substitution. In this study, we synthesized a SiPAAOH containing hydroxyl and siloxane groups based on the Aza-Michael addition reaction and applied it for reinforcement of aged paper. The results showed that the optimum conditions of SiPAAOH synthesis were as follows: the monomer molar ratio of APTES to EtA was 0.7:0.3, the solvent system for SiPAAOH reinforced aged paper was ethanol/water = 1:5 (v/v). The alkaline SiPAAOH could increase the pH of paper to 7.68, and to improve the amount of alkaline reserve to 200 mmol/kg. The whiteness and color difference of the treated paper were not significantly different from those of the untreated paper, and the mechanical properties of the paper were obviously improved. The results of contact angle and thermogravimetry showed that the SiPAAOH-treated paper was hydrophobicity and high temperature resistance.

In order to solve the environmental problems caused by landfilling and incineration of Fenton sludge, realize the recycling of papermaking solid waste. In this paper, we explored the formation of a layer of calcium carbonate coating on the surface of Fenton sludge by crystallization coating in the Fenton sludge-[Ca(OH)2/H2O]-CO2 three-phase reaction system to improve the brightness of Fenton sludge and apply it to the filling of paper. The effects of particle size, temperature, stirring rate and calcium hydroxide addition on crystallization coating effect were studied. The advantages and disadvantages of the coating effect are mainly judged by the brightness and dustiness of the powder material. The research results show that when the particle size is 38–48 μm, the temperature is 25 °C, the stirring speed is 600 r/min, and the ratio of calcium hydroxide to Fenton sludge is 2:1, the brightness of the composite can be increased from 3.56 % ISO to 64.24 % ISO.

In order to meet the high accuracy pixel-matching requirements of space-dimensional dual-coded spectropolarimeter, a dual-coded image pixel-matching method based on dispersion modulation is proposed. The mathematics of the dispersion power and the pixel matching is modeled. The relationship between different pixel-matching coefficients and the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structure similarity index measure (SSIM) of reconstructed images is analyzed. An imaging system experiment consisting of a digital micromirror device (DMD), a micro-polarizer array detector (MPA), and a prism–grating–prism (PGP) is built to reconstruct a spectral linear polarization data cube with 50 spectral channels and linear polarization parameters. The contrast ratio of the reconstructed spectropolarimeter image was raised 68 times against the ground truth. It can be seen from the reconstruction evaluation analysis that the spectral data and polarization data can be matched effectively by optimizing the dispersion coefficient of the PGP. The system can effectively reconstruct when the noise SNR is greater than 15 dB. The PSNR and SSIM of the reconstruction images can be improved by increasing the pixel-matching spacing. The optimal choice of the dual-coded pixel-matching spacing is one super-polarized pixel. The spectral resolution and quality of the spectropolarimeter are improved using the pixel-matching method.

The lunar crater production function describes the general pattern of the size–frequency distribution of craters on the lunar surface, and it is the foundation of the surface dating method via crater counting. In addition, the lunar crater production function has been extended to other celestial bodies and used to analyze the meteorite flux of the inner solar system. The basic process of establishing the lunar crater production function is to map in an ideal way the primary craters in different geological units, and then to normalize all of the corresponding size–frequency distributions using a mathematical model. Currently, the most widely used lunar crater production functions have been established based on the images acquired in the last century. However, now they can be refined with newly obtained high-resolution images. In this research, we mapped all of the primary craters in 13 regions on the lunar surface with the images acquired using the narrow angle camera and wide angle camera onboard the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, and then we fitted the lunar crater production function with a polynomial. The resultant new lunar crater production function is largely comparable with the previous results, and the difference is mainly at the large diameter end. We analyzed the uncertainty of model fitting as well as the difference in the crater measurements and demonstrated the reliability of the new production function. It is expected to refine the lunar surface dating models, which can provide more accurate information on the impact rate in related studies.

Neural network methods have been widely used in many fields of scientific research with the rapid increase of computing power. The physics-informed neural networks have received much attention as a major breakthrough in solving partial differential equations using neural networks. In this paper a resampling technique based on the expansion-shrinkage point selection strategy is developed to dynamically modify the distribution of training points in accordance with the performance of the neural networks. In this new approach both training sites with slight changes in residual values and training points with large residuals are taken into account. In order to make the distribution of training points more uniform, the concept of continuity is futher introduced and incorporated. This method successfully addresses the issue that the neural network becomes ill or even crashes due to the extensive alteration of the training point distribution. The effectiveness of the improved physics-informed neural networks with expansion-shrinkage resimpling is demonstrated through a series of numerical experiments.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between provisional matrix (PM) and keratinized epithelium (KE) and to treat KE as an indication for early implant placement according to its healing process. In addition, a healing pattern when an implant was inserted into the PM was illustrated. Material and Methods: Male ICR mice (n=6) were sacrificed at d1, d2, d3, d4 and d6 after left upper incisor extraction. The extraction sockets were subjected to clinical, histological and immunohistochemistry evaluation and statistical analysis. Afterward, an implant was inserted into the PM according to previous result. Result: Sockets were occupied mainly by PM with the highest expression of osteocalcin (OC, PConclusion: The fusion of KE on the extraction socket, dominated by high bioactive PM, could be treated as an indication of early implant placement. Clinical Relevance: This indication can be applied in clinical situation. The sufficient KE and formation of PM are helpful for primary wound closure and quicker osteointegration.

LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 is a relatively promising high-voltage cathode material for lithium-ion batteries. In order to reduce the preparation cost and energy consumption of LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4, an innovative roasting process — non-constant temperature calcination — was proposed in this paper, and it is characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle size distribution test, cyclic voltammetry test, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), first charge–discharge test, cyclic performance test, and comparative experiment. The research shows that this process avoids the high-temperature and constant-temperature stage, so as to effectively inhibit the growth and agglomeration of material particles, improve the electrochemical performance of the material, and reduce the production energy consumption and cost. It was found through experiments that the optimal heating rate is 2.0 °C/min. At this heating rate, the initial charge–discharge capacity reaches the maximum of 129.6 mAh/g, and the capacity decreases from 126 to 123.5 mAh/g (the capacity retention rate is 98%) after 100 cycles at 1 C.

Olivine-structured LiMnPO4 is one of the cathode materials with great application prospects for lithium-ion batteries in that it possesses the characteristics of abundant raw materials, low price, stable structure, high energy density, and good cycling stability. In this paper, the electronic structure of LiMn1-x-yFexNiyPO4 (x = 0, y = 0; x = 1/4, y = 1/4) system is calculated by using MS (Material Studio) software. The calculated results show that the band gap width of LiMn1/2Fe1/4Ni1/4PO4/C system is 0.105 eV, which has a great change compared with LiMnPO4. Thus, it is speculated that the Fe–Ni co-doped LiMnPO4 material has better electrochemical performance. The LiMn1-x-yFexNiyPO4 (x = 0, y = 0; x = 1/4, y = 1/4) composite materials were synthesized by co-precipitation method, and the optimum synthesis conditions also was explored. The electrochemical test indicates that the LiMn1/2Fe1/4Ni1/4PO4/C cathode material has excellent electrochemical properties, and its initial charge–discharge capacity is 143.8 mAh/g, which is significantly higher than that of LiMnPO4 material. The discharge capacity of this sample remains at about 152 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 0.05 C rate, showing good cyclic stability. The results of theoretical calculation and experimental test confirm each other, so as to prepare the LiMn1/2Fe1/4Ni1/4PO4/C materials with excellent electrochemical performance.

Fenton or photocatalytic degradations of organic contaminants are recognized as promising approaches to address the increasing environmental pollution issues. Herein, we develop the effective synergistic catalysis reaction of Fenton and photocatalysis based on a loofah sponge-like Fe2Ox/C nanocomposite, which exhibits excellent nitrobenzene photocatalytic degradation property. It is noted that Fe2O3 nanoparticles with surface Fe2+ species were encapsulated with an ultrathin carbon layer (denoted as Fe2Ox/C) via a supramolecular self-sacrificing template and following thermal treatment process. The experimental results indicated that the thin layer carbon coating not only inhibited the Fe iron leaching from the Fe2Ox but also prompted the separation and transferring of electrons-hole pairs. The introduction of Fe2Ox/C enables the Fenton reaction to induce a rapid Fe2+/Fe3+ cycle, and meanwhile, together with the photocatalytic reaction to produce continuous active substances for the subsequent degradation catalytic reaction without successive H2O2, resulting in the inexpensive and the effective photocatalytic procedure. As a result, 100% nitrobenzene (100 mg/L) was degraded and 97% of the organic carbon was mineralized in 90 min using the Fe2Ox/C (0.1 g/L) at a low H2O2 dosage (0.50 mM), under air mass (AM) 1.5 irradiation. Theoretical calculations confirmed that the Fe2Ox/C-600 with thin carbon layer promoted the dissociation of H2O2 and the ·OH desorption. The synergistic catalysis of this work may provide new ideas for low-cost and more efficient treatment of pollutants.

Intelligent medical image segmentation methods have been rapidly developed and applied, while a significant challenge is domain shift. That is, the segmentation performance degrades due to distribution differences between the source domain and the target domain. This paper proposed an unsupervised end-to-end domain adaptation medical image segmentation method based on the generative adversarial network (GAN). A network training and adjustment model was designed, including segmentation and discriminant networks. In the segmentation network, the residual module was used as the basic module to increase feature reusability and reduce model optimization difficulty. Further, it learned cross-domain features at the image feature level with the help of the discriminant network and a combination of segmentation loss with adversarial loss. The discriminant network took the convolutional neural network and used the labels from the source domain, to distinguish whether the segmentation result of the generated network is from the source domain or the target domain. The whole training process was unsupervised. The proposed method was tested with experiments on a public dataset of knee magnetic resonance (MR) images and the clinical dataset from our cooperative hospital. With our method, the mean Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) of segmentation results increased by 2.52% and 6.10% to the classical feature level and image level domain adaptive method. The proposed method effectively improves the domain adaptive ability of the segmentation method, significantly improves the segmentation accuracy of the tibia and femur, and can better solve the domain transfer problem in MR image segmentation.智能医学图像分割方法正在快速地发展和应用，但面临着域转移挑战，即由于源域和目标域数据分布不同导致算法性能下降。为此，本文提出了一种基于生成对抗网络（GAN）的无监督端到端域自适应医学图像分割方法。设计网络训练调整模型，由分割网络和鉴别网络组成。分割网络以残差模块为基本模块，增加对特征的复用能力，降低模型优化难度，并将分割损失与对抗损失相结合，在鉴别网络的作用下学习图像特征层面的跨域特征。鉴别网络采用卷积神经网络，并带入源域标签训练，用来区分生成网络的分割结果是来自源域或目标域，整个训练过程无监督。使用膝关节磁共振（MR）图像公开数据集和采集的临床数据集进行实验，与经典的特征级域自适应方法和图像级域自适应方法对比，所提方法的平均戴斯相似性系数（DSC）分别提高了2.52%与6.10%。本文方法有效提高了分割方法的域自适应能力，显著提高了对胫骨和股骨的分割精度，可以较好地解决磁共振图像分割中的域转移问题。.

The simulation system of the new marine simulator is established based on the software Videotrace and VRML language. Many kinds of high and new technologies such as 3D modeling, calibration modeling of the cloud server, the interactive design of the virtual scene have been used in the simulation platform of virtual marine simulator. The new simulation system has further development and excellent interaction function. At the same time, research of virtual marine simulator is carried out for the purpose of improving the development of navigation simulator and the training model in the compound seafarers.

The aim of this study was to develop inclusions formed by γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CD) and three isothiocyanates (ITCs), including benzyl isothiocyanate (BITC), phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC), and 3-methylthiopropyl isothiocyanate (MTPITC) to improve their controlled release for the inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). These inclusion complexes were characterized using X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared, thermogravimetry, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), providing appropriate evidence to confirm the formation of inclusion complexes. Preliminary evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of the different inclusion complexes, carried out in vitro by agar diffusion, showed that such activity lasted 5–7 days longer in γ-CD-BITC, in comparison with γ-CD-PEITC and γ-CD-MTPITC. The biofilm formation was less in S. aureus treated with γ-CD-BITC than that of BITC by using crystal violet quantification assay and SEM. The expression of virulence genes, including sarA, agr, cp5D, cp8F, clf, nuc, and spa, showed sustained downregulation in S. aureus treated with γ-CD-BITC for 24 h by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Moreover, the growth of S. aureus in cooked chicken breast treated with γ-CD-BITC and BITC was predicted by the Gompertz model. The lag time of γ-CD-BITC was 1.3–2.4 times longer than that of BITC, and correlation coefficient (R2) of the secondary models was 0.94–0.99, respectively. These results suggest that BITC has a more durable antibacterial effect against S. aureus after encapsulation by γ-CD.

The marine environment is complex and changeable. To meet the urgent needs of accurate detection and identification of oil spills, a visible/infrared dual-band common-aperture polarization imaging optical system based on a defocused plane polarization detector is designed. The optical system is evaluated by ZEMAX simulation software, and we carried out the polarization imaging oil species discrimination experiment based on the split focal plane polarization detector, which proved that for some oil species that cannot be distinguished by intensity information, the polarization information can be distinguished. It verifies the feasibility of polarization detection in the discrimination of marine oil spills, which is of great practical significance in the field of marine oil spill detection.

The 3-(Methylthio) propyl isothiocyanate (MTPITC)-loaded inclusion complex prepared by α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) was incorporated into chitosan (CS) film to fabricate a packaging material for fresh chicken meat preservation. Scanning electron microscope images indicated homogenous dispersion of the MTPITC-α-CD in CS polymer. Fourier-transform infrared and X-ray diffraction techniques revealed that MTPITC-α-CD was incorporated into the CS film matrix by the physical interactions. The introduction of MTPITC-α-CD improved the UV-vis light-blocking ability, with a slight loss of transparency. Although the water solubility and water vapor barrier capacity were not significantly influenced by the addition of MTPITC-α-CD, the antioxidant attribute was significantly enhanced. The CS-MTPITC-α-CD film displayed obvious and sustained suppressive effects against Salmonellatyphimurium, with the inhibition zone diameters of 14.7 mm at 12 h and 7.3 mm at 24 h, respectively. Moreover, the quality index analysis indicated that the CS-MTPITC-α-CD film-wrapped fresh chicken, during refrigerated storage, exhibited better preservative efficacy than the control groups, with the total viable counts of 6.5 Log CFU/g, total volatile base nitrogen of 8.4 mg/100 g, pH of 6.6, thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances of 0.2 mg/kg, and the sensory score of 5 at day 16. Collectively, these results suggest that CS-MTPITC-α-CD film is a prospective packaging candidate for delaying the quality deterioration of chicken meat.
