Steam flooding and hot water flooding are the two main important thermal recovery methods for heavy oil reservoirs. Due to physicochemical properties difference of steam and hot water, the mechanism and production performance of hot water and steam flooding vary greatly. In this paper, steam and hot water flooding experiments under different temperature were conducted using Qi 40 heavy oil in Liaohe Oilfield in China to obtain typical features such as displacement efficiency, relative permeability, water cut and dimensionless productivity index of the two. The results show that steam and hot water flooding performance are quite different from each other under the same temperature. Compared with water flooding, displacement efficiency of steam flooding is 8.98%, 10.97% higher under 100℃ and 200℃ respectively, in addition, oil relative permeability is much higher and residual oil saturation is much lower at the same temperature. Water state and temperature are main reasons of displacement efficiency, relative permeability and productivity index difference; vapor state and higher temperature resulting in higher oil recovery, oil relative permeability and oil production index.

Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) is a powerful technique for precise topographic mapping. However, owing to the side-looking SAR imaging geometry, geometry distortions appear in mountainous scenarios. Because of phase discontinuities or the absence of a valid phase, it is difficult to recover accurate DEM in such areas with single-aspect InSAR data. Fusion of two or more different aspects of InSAR data can deal with this problem in practice. Experiments using two antiparallel aspects of airborne InSAR data are carried out based on this idea. To decrease the processing error in single-aspect data and fuse them seamlessly, a MOtion COmpensation (MOCO) method using iterative DEM is used to reduce the MOCO error. Besides, phase-unwrapping methods based on terrain characteristics are proposed to avoid phase-unwrapping error owing to phase discontinuities in areas of shadow and layover. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the processing methods.

Interferometry filtering is one of the key steps in obtain high-precision Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Digital Orthophoto Map (DOM). In the case of low-correlation or complicated topography, traditional phase filtering methods fail in balancing noise elimination and phase preservation, which leads to inaccurate interferometric phase. This paper proposed an adaptive iterated nonlocal interferometry filtering method to deal with the problem. Based on the thought of nonlocal filtering, the proposed method filters the image with utilization of the image redundancy information. The smoothing parameter of the method is adaptive to the interferometry, and automatic iteration, in which the window size is adjusted, is applied to improve the filtering precision. Validity of the proposed method is verified by simulated and real data. Comparison with existed methods is given at the same time.

When applying to the airborne repeat-pass Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), which has long synthetic aperture and large azimuth-dependent errors, the surface assumption used to simply the time-domain algorithm model and the residual motion errors due to the precision of the navigation system will affect the imaging result and the interferometric measurement. This paper analyzes the altitude errors introduced by the surface assumption and the residual motion errors due to the precision of the navigation system. We deduce the range errors model during the single pass and analyze the effects of these errors on the plane location, interferometric phase and DEM precision. Then the accuracy of the theoretical deduction is verified by simulation and real data. The research provides theoretical bases for the system design and signal processing of airborne repeat-pass InSAR.

Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text, Leukoaraiosis (LA) is a frequent neuroimaging finding commonly observed on brain MRIs of elderly people with prevalence ranging from 50% to 100%. Multiple susceptibility genes or genetic risk factors for LA have been identified in subjects of European descent. Here, we report the first replication study on several common and novel genetic variations in the Chinese population. In this study, a total of 244 subjects (201 LA patients and 43 controls) were enrolled according to our new and strict definition for LA. Subsequently, 6 genetic variants at 5 genes, rs3744028 in TRIM65, rs1055129 in TRIM47, rs1135889 in FBF1, rs1052053 in PMF1, and rs1801133 (C677T) and rs1801131(A1298C) in MTHFR, were selected for genotyping using polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based pyrosequencing and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) together with capillary electrophoresis (CE) and agarose gel electrophoresis. Finally, Pearson's χ2 and multivariate logistic regression tests were used to examine the associations between the genotypes and LA. Among these candidate polymorphisms, except for rs1052053 and rs1801131, rs1135889 (P = 0.012) showed significant associations with LA in the dominant model, and the other 3 SNPs, rs3744028 (P = 0.043), rs1055129 (P = 0.038), and rs1801133 (P = 0.027), showed significant associations with LA in the recessive model. However, these differences no longer remained significant after adjusting for age, gender, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus and applying Bonferroni correction or Sidak correction for multiple testing. These results suggest that the above-mentioned genetic variants are not associated with LA risk. In summary, the study did not replicate the susceptibility of rs3744028, rs1055129, and rs1135889 at the Chr17q25 locus for LA nor did it find any other significant results for rs1052053, rs1801133, and rs1801131 in the Chinese population. It strongly indicated the ethnic differences in the genetics of LA. However, the associations of rs3744028 (TRIM65), rs1055129 (TRIM47), rs1135889 (FBF1), and rs1801133 (MTHFR) with LA before Bonferroni correction and Sidak correction for multiple testing are worth highlighting. Thus, we believe that a genome-wide association study and candidate gene association studies are needed to reassess the previous findings and screen novel risk genes for LA in China.

Phase unwrapping is a key issue in InSAR research. As a critical step of InSAR processing, it affects the accuracy of interferometry measurement directly. The efficiency of the traditional quality-guided phase unwrapping method is low due to a great deal of sorting, espceically for large interferogram. This paper proposes a highly efficient quality-guided phase unwrapping method based on heap sort in order to solve the problem. First, the quality map is caculated according to the interferometric complex data or interferogram. Next, with the max-heap acting as the data structure of sorting, its property is maintained while deleting root node and inserting new node, and thus the sorting of quality map is accomplished and the phase can be unwrapped from high quality areas to low quality areas. The improved algorithm reduces the computational complexity greatly compared with traditional methods, which is significant in large area mapping of InSAR. At the end of the paper, the simulated and experimental results show the accuracy and the efficiency of the algorithm. Recent studies have addressed that the cache behavior is important in the design of main memory index structures. Cache-conscious indices such as the CSB+-tree are shown to outperform conventional main memory indices such as the AVL-tree and the T-tree. This paper proposes a cache-conscious version of the T-tree, CST-tree, defined according to the cache-conscious definition. To separate the keys within a node into two parts, the CST-tree can gain higher cache hit ratio.

Some basic algorithms and theories are discussed for 9-shaker random vibration test control in this paper. A correct algorithm RMS is presented without considering influence of cross spectrum. The algorithm can make the control spectrum of convergence stably and fastly. In order to solve the problem of multiple-point input and output synthetically weighting control, Finite Markov Chains and Algorithmic is set forth for the first time to form the main control matrix. Enhanced SAR ocean images with dominant wave-like signatures might promote oceanographic applications. Therefore we develop a wave model based processor for wave features enhancement. Algorithm analysis and experiments based on spaceborne (ERS-2) SAR ocean image show the reasonable capabilities.

With the development of information technology, using multi-media teaching has been increasingly adopted by the teachers. This paper introduces the definition of multimedia technology, multimedia technology in middle school applications, the advantages and problems of a preliminary study and put forward some suggestions.

Small and medium enterprises play an important role in the development of a country. The growth of SMEs is also important for the world economy which has been widely discussed in recent years. Although the growth of small firm is a well known topic in theoretical research, still there are some research gaps that need to be filled. There is no single multidimensional theory which would embrace all possible approaches; most studies on SMEs’ growth examine the growth factors one by one. (Wasilczuk, 2000) Nor is there any single theory that can adequately explain small business growth due to the heterogeneity of SMEs. Moreover, growth itself is difficult to measure, and can be measured either objectively or subjectively. (Delmar, 1996) Therefore, this study incorporates the resource-based view, as well as the consideration of SMEs’ fives stages model to examine the growth factor of SMEs. The resource-based view provides a unified approach in the conceptualization of the resource analysis in the small firm. The five stages model shows the position of SMEs current growth stage. By analyzing SMEs’ key resources (tangible and intangible resources), indentifying their growth stages, SMEs can find out the critical resources which influence their business growth. As a conclusion, the study finds that each resource has its importance in different stages. Tangible resources, such as cash and physical resources are critical in the start-up firms, while intangible resources are prioritized in the success and resource maturity stages. In order to gain the competitive advantages, SMEs should fully develop the unique and inimitable resources such as the brand, technology, culture and reputations.

The classical gyroscope system (Euler-Poisson equations) is an important mechanics system, which describes the motion of a heavy rigid body moving around a fixed point. In this paper, the stability of an equilibrium state of gyroscope system is studied by using the energy-Casimir function method. The stability of a class of dynamics of gyroscope system is obtained.

Talent management has been a heating-up topic in recent years. It has a positive effect on the ability to create a compelling, productive, and valued enterprise for all stakeholders — employees, customers, business partners and investors. Moreover, talent management facilitated talent flexibility and enables the rapid growth of the business, ensuring rapid alignment with the requirements established by business leaders as the company evolved. Meanwhile, the importance for a company to attract and retain a high-quality workforce is moving into the boardroom agenda, more and more attention is pain on this acute topic. In this thesis, we are doing the research on how to build up a talent factory within the company – how to recruit the most outstanding people to meet the business needs, how to maximize the potential of employees, how to put the right people in the right position and finally how to keep the best people in the company. In order to achieve it, we conducted our research from different methodologies (literatures, case studies, interviews) to find the answer our research question: is talent management a science or an art in order to build up a talent factory? At the end, we came out of our own understanding about the talent management and the accommodations of building up a talent factory.

Due to the complexity of variety steel technology, an artificial forecasting project based on Web for variety steel technology is presented. The project is built under Internet circumstance applying artificial neural network technology. By applying Matlab Web technology and combining with the database and artificial neural network toolbox in MATLAB, the project system has the ability of getting data from variety steel technology database and calculating by neural network and then displaying the calculation result on the browser through Web server. The result of research shows that this forecasting project system can successfully map the technological rule of variety steel, and provide timely forecasting operation of machining result with high efficiency and high accuracy for variety steel's user under Internet. The forecasting project based on Web can share the knowledge and experience of variety steel technology.

Least squares support vector machines (LS-SVM) is a new improvement of classic support vector machines (SVM). The inequality constraints of original space are replaced by equality constraints. So the quadratic programming of SVM is inverted to solve linear equations, the complexity of computation is reduced, the solution speed and convergence precision are improved. Based on the local data from hydrogenation equipment, a predictive model based on least squares support vector machines (LS-SVM) is established for three important quality targets of diesel oil in this paper. Finally, it is proved that the proposed predictive models based on LS-SVM can predict the quality target more efficiently and rapidly than stands SVM and neural network. It provided a method for online prediction and diagnosing fault of quality targets.
