Taking the AU5-50 propeller as an example, the detailed process of propeller modeling with atlas method and PropCad is compared. By comparing the auxiliary profiles used for modeling, it is pointed out that the blade model established by PropCad has more complete features and is not restricted by the propeller type. Besides, to verify the credibility of the PropCad modeling method, simulation analysis is carried out. First, the hybrid mesh and boundary layer mesh are divide for the flow field by integrated computer engineering and manufacturing (ICEM). Second, grid independence is verified utilizing a multiple reference frame (MRF) model. In the verifying process, three widely used turbulence models are analyzed and compared under advance ratio 0.7, and the results show that the hydrodynamic coefficient error calculated by the shear stress transport (SST) k-ω model is the smallest. Third, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculation model is determined. The hydrodynamic performance of the propeller at different advance ratios is analyzed, and the CFD calculation results are in good agreement with the open water test data. Finally, the fluid-solid coupling analysis of the propeller is performed, and it is verified that the stress field of the propeller meets the material strength requirement. Therefore, it is proved to be feasible to conduct propeller modeling with PropCad.

Old photos are an important carrier to preserve the past. Usually, the degradation of old photos is rather diverse and complex. Therefore, the existing methods to solve conventional restoration tasks are difficult to generalize. To solve this problem, we propose a novel method based on generative adversarial network. Our method utilizes the class-attributes of old photos to complete restoration in latent space. Specifically, we divide the process of restoring old photos into two stages, one is global defect restoration stage and the other is local detail restoration stage. In global defect restoration stage, we extract the latent representations of four classes of high-level attributes that are smoothness, clarity, connectivity and completeness. We use latent class-attribute information to restore global defects in latent space and we obtain conditional control vector through a condition network to guide the subsequent local detail restoration stage. In local detail restoration stage, we propose a dynamic condition-guided restoration module that selects the most suitable combination of features to further restore local details through a dynamic network. In addition, we propose a dual discriminator to pay more attention to style and defect restoration. We ignore the complex degradation of old photos to directly restore advanced class-attributes. Therefore, our method has better generalization performance. Experiments show that our method is superior to other existing methods of image restoration in terms of visual quality and numerical metrics.

Calibration period is a major concern of metrology and the basis for the actual operation of operators. This paper introduces adjustment methods and the judging principles of measuring equipment calibration period, then further research on the calibration period adjustment based on reaction method is carried out, and two extreme cases may emerge in the engineering application of calibration period adjustment method is deducted, trend analysis is given, the results show that in the extreme cases, adjusted calibration period of measuring equipment shows a rule of exponential curve, combined with the reliability index, finally considering economic and scientific factors, adjusted period range is suggested between 0.5 to 2 times of the initial calibration period, which could effectively guide the measuring equipment calibration period adjustment.

How to improve the representational power of visual features extracted by deep convolutional neural networks is of crucial importance for high-quality image super-resolution. To address this issue, we propose a multi-attention augmented network, which mainly consists of content-, orientation- and position-aware modules. Specifically, we develop an attention augmented U-net structure to form the content-aware module in order to learn and combine multi-scale informative features within a large receptive field. To better reconstruct image details in different directions, we design a set of pre-defined sparse kernels to construct the orientation-aware module, which can extract more representative multi-orientation features and enhance the discriminative capacity in stacked convolutional stages. Then these extracted features are adaptively fused through channel attention mechanism. In upscale stage, the position-aware module adopts a novel self-attention to reweight the element-wise value of final low-resolution feature maps, for further suppressing the possible artifacts. Experimental results demonstrate that our method obtains better reconstruction accuracy and perceptual quality against state-of-the-art methods.

Weakly Aggregative Modal Logic (WAML) is a collection of disguised polyadic modal logics with n-ary modalities whose arguments are all the same. WAML has some interesting applications on epistemic logic and logic of games, so we study some basic model theoretical aspects of WAML in this paper. Specifically, we give a van Benthem-Rosen characterization theorem of WAML based on an intuitive notion of bisimulation and show that each basic WAML system K_n lacks Craig Interpolation.

Primary dysmenorrhea (PD), as characterized by painful menstrual cramps without organic causes, is associated with central sensitization and brain function changes. Previous studies showed the integrated role of the default mode network (DMN) in the pain connectome and its key contribution on how an individual perceives and copes with pain disorders. Here, we aimed to investigate whether the cingulum bundle connecting hub regions of the DMN was disrupted in young women with PD. Diffusion tensor imaging was obtained in 41 PD patients and 41 matched healthy controls (HC) during their periovulatory phase. The production of prostaglandins (PGs) was obtained in PD patients during their pain-free and pain phases. As compared with HC, PD patients had similar scores of pain intensity, anxiety, and depression in their pain-free phase. However, altered white matter properties mainly located in the posterior section of the cingulum bundle were observed in PD. Besides PGs being related to menstrual pain, a close relationship was found between the white matter properties of the cingulum bundle during the pain-free phase and the severity of the menstrual pain in PD patients. Our study suggested that PD had trait changes of white matter integrities in the cingulum bundle that persisted beyond the time of menstruation. We inferred that altered anatomical connections may lead to less-flexible communication within the DMN, and/or between the DMN and other pain-related brain networks, which may result in the central susceptibility to develop chronic pain conditions in PD's later life. Chronic pain has been linked with learning and memory processes and functional changes in brain plasticity in its development and maintenance via neuroimaging studies. However, the principle of reorganization of the migraine brain network as the brain progresses into chronic pain remain poorly understood. Here, using resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs‐fMRI) and graph theory approaches, we aimed to investigate the dynamic dysfunctional connectivity in 108 patients with migraine without aura (MWoA) and 30 gender‐matched healthy controls (HC). All patients were divided into 40 groups using a sliding boxcar grouping of subjects in disease duration order. As compared with HC, nonparametric permutation tests were applied for between‐group comparisons of functional connectivity strength in each patient group. We focused only on the between‐group differences of functional connections in MWoA, and the situation how these different connections were organized along with the changing trend. As the disease duration increased, the presence of chronic headache altered the functional connectivity from the local central nervous system (CNS) to a disruption in the whole‐brain networks. These dysfunctional connections integrated into a connected component in relatively longer migraine duration groups, suggesting an abnormal integrated network configuration with ongoing central changes for long‐term migraine. Within these between‐group differences of the connected component, there were contained a small number of brain regions that had disproportionately numerous connections. Moreover, these brain regions exhibited a tendency to link to each other were organized into a strongly interconnected community. These interconnected brain regions were mainly located in the sensory‐discriminative brain areas. Our results exhibited a working model of the central mechanisms of migraine where the brain functional connectivity was altered from the local central nervous system to a densely interconnected center, which may extend our understanding of the role of learning mechanisms which are likely involved in maintenance of chronic pain. What is the preference of Chinese women today in choosing their professions? The Commission of Work among Women under the All-China Federation of Trade Unions polled by questionnaire some fifteen thousand employees in eleven provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. Findings from the survey reveal that 32.8 percent of the women [surveyed] would like to work in government offices, followed by the professions of science, education, culture, health, finance, and insurance.
