Work without power interruption is a method to achieve the purpose of maintaining the equipment in a variety of ways in the case of user’s power-off or short-term power failure, so that the power supply of users and the reliability of power supply system can be insured. By using time series analysis of document quantity and drawing the knowledge map of authors and keywords, the annual distribution, research content and research trend of work without power interruption research can be revealed intuitively. This paper makes a visual analysis of the literature on work without power interruption in China from 2003 to 2020. Based on the objective data and knowledge map, the research subjects of work without power interruption can be divided into three categories: method application research, technical equipment research and management method research. Live working, which belongs to method application research, is a research hotspot. Integrating work without power interruption and artificial intelligence will be the trend and frontier of research.
