El objetivo de este trabajo es la edición árabe y, a partir de ella, la traducción al español de la segunda y última maqāla del Kitāb fī l-šarāb o Tratado sobre el vino de al-Rāzī, obra estructurada en dos partes: una primera dedicada a la descripción de los beneficios y los perjuicios que produce el consumo del vino, y una segunda que presenta las diferentes clases de vinos. Es esta segunda a la que hemos dedicado este artículo. El manuscrito del que hemos partido para llevar a cabo esta labor ha sido el 5240 de la Biblioteca Nacional de España, volumen misceláneo compuesto por once tratados de muy diferentes ex- tensiones, cuyos temas giran en torno a la medicina, la farmacología y la dietética. La totalidad de la obra se extiende a lo largo de catorce folios (fols. 73r-86v), y la parte que aquí nos ocupa está entre los fols. 82r-86v. The purpose of this paper is to present the Arabic edition and Spanish translation of the second and last maqāla of Kitāb fī l-sharāb, or Treatise on wine, by al-Rāzī. The treatise is organized into two sections: the first is a description of the benefits and harm caused by drinking wine, while the second presents the different types of wines. This second section is the subject of this paper. The manuscript used in this undertaking is manuscript number 5240 of the National Library of Spain, a miscellaneous volume containing eleven treatises of varying lengths, whose themes revolve around medicine, pharmacology and dietetics. In its entirety the treatise studied comprises over fourteen folios (fols. 73r-86v) while the part that concerns us here is between fols. 82r-86v.

Artículo (Tribuna) Este artículo presenta la biografía del omaní-andalusí Ibn al-Ḏahabī, autor de la obra Kitāb al-māʾ (El libro del agua), y la traducción anotada del capítulo que abre la composición, «al-māʾ» («El agua»). Se trata de un compendio, ordenado alfabéticamente, que reúne la lengua árabe y la medicina principalmente, aunque engloba otras muchas ciencias y saberes de su tiempo, como la literatura, la botánica, la farmacología, la zoología, la mineralogía, etc. La obra está encabezada por un interesante prólogo del autor en el que expresa las intenciones que tiene al componerla, le sigue el capítulo sobre el agua, del que presentamos su traducción, y, a continuación y en orden alfabético, se describen los alimentos, los medicamentos y las recetas desde la letra alif a la letra yāʾ. Abstract: This paper presents the biography of Omani-Andalusian Ibn al-Ḏahabī, author of Kitāb al-māʾ (The Book of Water) and the annotated translation of the chapter that opens the composition: al-māʾ (water). It is a compendium, ordered alphabetically, which brings together Arabic language and medicine mainly, although it includes many other sciences and knowledge of his time such as literature, botany, pharmacology, zoology, mineralogy, and so on. The work is headed by an interesting prologue by the author, in which he expresses his intentions in composing it, followed by the chapter on water, of which we present its translation and then, in alphabetical order, food, medicine and recipes which are described from the letter alif to the letter yāʾ.
