Background Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is a vector-borne parasitic diseases of public health importance that is prevalent in the West Bank but not in the Gaza Strip. The disease caused by parasitic protozoans from the genus Leishmania and it is transmitted by infected phlebotomine sand flies. The aim of our study is to investigate the eco-epidemiological parameters and spatiotemporal projections of CL in Palestine over a 30-years period from 1990 through 2020 and to explore future projections until 2060. Methodology/Principal findings This long-term descriptive epidemiological study includes investigation of demographic characteristics of reported patients by the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMoH). Moreover, we explored spatiotemporal distribution of CL including future projection based on climate change scenarios. The number of CL patients reported during this period was 5855 cases, and the average annual incidence rate (AAIR) was 18.5 cases/105 population. The male to female ratio was 1.25:1. Patients-age ranged from 2 months to 89 years (mean = 22.5, std 18.67, and the median was 18 years). More than 65% of the cases came from three governates in the West Bank; Jenin 29% (1617 cases), Jericho 25% (1403), and Tubas 12% (658) with no cases reported in the Gaza Strip. Seasonal occurrence of CL starts to increase in December and peaked during March and April of the following year. Current distribution of CL indicate that Jericho, Tubas, Jenin and Nablus have the most suitable climatic settings for the sandfly vectors. Future projections until 2060 suggest an increasing incidence from northwest of Jenin down to the southwest of Ramallah, disappearance of the foci in Jericho and Tubas throughout the Jordan Vally, and possible emergence of new foci in Gaza Strip. Conclusions/Significance The future projection of CL in Palestine until 2060 show a tendency of increasing incidence in the north western parts of the West Bank, disappearance from Jericho and Tubas throughout the Jordan Vally, and emergence of new CL endemic foci in the Gaza Strip. These results should be considered to implement effective control and surveillance systems to counteract spatial expansion of CL vectors.

The aim of the work is to determine the potential directions and ways of using international scientometric databases by students of psychological and pedagogical disciplines. By analyzing the potential opportunities and benefits of Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, the potential directions of their application for master's training of teachers are formed. According to the results of the processed material it is noted that for stable production of quality scientific products and excellent presentation of scientific achievements of the institution, a specific author at the national and international level, the university needs a comprehensive program to stimulate publishing activity. indexed in leading international abstracts, will also include measures to reduce the teaching load for productive researchers of the university, full involvement of masters and graduate students in the scientific work of the institution, regular lectures and trainings on modern tools of scientific information management.

The aim of the paper consists in the development of universal method for the detection of characteristic phases of the behavior in systems with complex topology of attractor being in the regime of intermittent generalized synchronization. The method is based on an analysis of the location of representation points on the attractors of interacting systems coupled unidirectionally or mutually. The result of this work is the verification of the performance of the proposed method on systems with unidirectional coupling (two unidirectionally coupled Lorenz oscillators being in chaotic regime) that allow the analysis of intermittency using the auxiliary system method. It was found that the jump of the representation points to different sheets of attractors of interacting systems precedes the appearance of the turbulent phase of the behavior detected using the auxiliary system method. Using both methods, the statistical characteristics of intermittency, i.e. the distributions of the laminar phase lengths for several fixed values of the coupling parameter, were calculated and they were compared with each other. It was found that in all considered cases the results of both methods almost exactly coincide with each other, while the distributions of the laminar phase lengths obey the exponential laws, which is not typical for systems with a simple enough topology of attractor. It was assumed that in systems with a complex topology of attractor a new type of intermittency called by jump intermittency is observed.

Intermittent behavior near the boundary of phase synchronization in the presence of noise is studied. In certain range of the coupling parameter and noise intensity the intermittency of eyelet and ring intermittencies is shown to take place. Main results are illustrated using the example of two unidirectional coupled Rössler systems. Goal: to study certain characteristics of emotional constitution of young generation in Siberia and their dependence on adaptive capability. Method and methodology: 124 apparently healthy young male students of Zheleznogorsk branch of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafyev were examined on a volunteer basis upon their informed consent. Up-to-date conventional techniques were used for making anthropometric measurements and conducting functional study. Personality questionnaire by G.Y. Eysenck was used for referring students to emotional types. Results: body weight of young males from Zheleznogorsk increases from asthenic to normosthenic and picnic types of build, while the height decreases from normosthenic and asthenic to picnic types. About 40% of young males are of normosthenic build and about 30% each can be referred to picnic or asthenic types. As far as adaptation potential is concerned, in the majority of young males strain of adaptation mechanisms or poor adaptation (90-92%) are present, and only 8-10% have normal adaptation characteristics. Parameters of adaptation capabilities in characteristics of emotional status adequately reflect functional activity of central links of regulation and adaptation ‘resources’. Among characteristic features of emotional constitution of young males from Zheleznogorsk are moderate and considerable introversion, a high degree of emotional stability in situations when adaptation mechanisms are strained, and rather high emotional instability among young males with normal adaptation characteristics and even higher among those with poor adaptation mechanisms. All these are probably connected with radioecological situation at Zheleznogorsk. Scope of application of results: medicine, psychology, age-specific physiology, anthropology, neurology.
