The aim of this scoping review is to examine group medical visits (GMV) in cancer care from screening, diagnosis, treatment, cancer survivorship, and end-of-life care. We will explore how group medical visits are designed and delivered to address the unique needs of patients through the cancer continuum. We will aim to assess the following unique characteristics of GMV during this review, 1. the phase of the cancer care continuum, 2. The structure of the GMV, 3. personnel involved in the GMV, 4. tailoring of the GMV for underserved populations, 5. outcomes measured 6. implementation outcomes such as barriers and facilitators identified. Results from this review will inform the development and implementation of an intervention for supporting breast cancer survivors in low-income communities.
