- Abstract
54 strains of lingotroph fungi from the Komarov Botanical Institute Basidiomycetes Culture Collection, were studied on special hard degraded lignocellulosic substrates (media № 1 and № 2) at various temperatures (30, 40, 45 oC) and pH 5.5 and 4.0. All studied strains could grow at 30 oC but only 11 strains revealed good growth on the substrates and were selected for cultivation at 40 oC. As a result 5 strains were chosen for further study on the lignocellulosic substrates with pH 4.0 at 40 oC for activity of oxidoreductases — Abortiporus biennis 055, Polyporus ciliatus 0626, Trametes trogii 2743, Trametes versicolor 2790 and Pycnoporus sanquineus 2793. It was shown that only Pycnoporus sanquineus 2793 rather high activity of oxidoreductases. This strain demonstrated thermotolerant and acid resistant properties together with high growth rate on hard degraded lignocellulosic substrates and can be recommended for practical use.
