Meat quality, an important economic trait, is regulated by many factors, especially by genetic factors, including coding genes, miRNAs, and lncRNAs. Recent studies have elucidated that circRNAs also play a key role in muscle development and lipid deposition. However, the functions and regulatory mechanisms of circRNAs in meat quality remain mostly unknown. The circRNA expression profiles between Huainan pigs (Chinese indigenous pigs, fat-type, Huainan HN) and Large White pigs (Western commercial pigs, lean-type, LW) in the longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle at 38, 58, and 78 days post conception (dpc) were compared by sequencing. In total, 39,887 circRNAs were identified in 18 samples, and 60, 78, and 86 differentially expressed circRNAs (DECs) were found at the three stages mentioned above between these two breeds. The parent genes of DECs were enriched in myogenesis, proliferation, adipogenesis and muscle fiber-type transition. The circRNA-miRNA interaction networks included 38 DECs and 47 miRNAs, and these miRNAs were involved in muscle development and lipid metabolism. Two shared DECs (circ_0030593 and circ_0032760) of these three stages were selected, their head-to-tail junction sites were validated by Sanger sequencing, and RT‒qPCR results suggested that these two DECs might be involved in intramuscular fat deposition. These findings provide a basis for understanding the role of circRNAs in meat quality.

This paper establishes a common evaluation method for the main problems of degraded transformer oil and lead-acid batteries in my country. Through the development of a common evaluation classification collection system, real-time monitoring of the location of the oil drum and the position of the oil liquid, the centralized management of transformer oil and lead-acid batteries was realized, and the cost of hazardous waste qualification was shared. It has been proved through practice that this method can evaluate the classification method to make the regeneration more accurate, the active radicals and aging molecules in the oil are removed more thoroughly, and the battery's precise repair reaches more than 85%.

In the present work, we will discuss the vibration spectrum impact of water and sand inside a railway container. To do so, a scaled model of a container car was driven on tracks with three accelerometers on its side to record the container response. The experiment was conducted with three different water fill levels and two sand masses. As the data given by the accelerometers was recorded in an ambient vibration environment, the random decremental technique was used to determine the system’s free vibration response. Then the wavelet transform was applied in order to obtain the modal parameters of the structure. The results were then compared to draw conclusions on the effect of water and sand on the tank.

Gynandromorphic ticks are extremely rare, and often attract parasitologists' attention. During our examination of tick specimens, an engorged gynandromorph of Hyalomma asiaticum was noticed. This is the first record of gynandromorphic ticks from China. In this study, several important morphological structures of normal and gynandromorphic H. asiaticum were analyzed. Comparing to the normal H. asiaticum, the gynandromorphic specimen was a typical bipartite protogynander. Its right side showed normal female characteristics, whereas the left side had normal male traits. Different from other gynandromorphic ticks containing 1 anus, this tick reported here had 2 complete anuses, and the anus of the male part had a single adanal plate.

To evaluate the effects of combined lifestyle-related factors and risk of cancer incidence among adult men in urban Shanghai.Information was obtained from 60 817 men in the Shanghai Men's Health Study (2002 - 2006) program and 2033 incident cancers who were confirmed at the end of 2009. A healthy lifestyle score (HLS) system was developed, based on five lifestyle-related factors, and participants were scored one point for each of the healthy behaviour: never smoked, alcohol intake less than 1 drink/day, under normal weight range (18.5 - 27.9 kg/m(2)), physical activity (≥ 54 Met-hours/week), fruit and vegetable intake ≥ 451 g/day, the else would score as zero. The total score would range from zero to five. Cox regression model was used to evaluate the associations between combined lifestyle-related factors and the cancer incidence.Compared to men having scores as zero or one, the hazard ratios (95% confidence intervals) for men with two, three, four, five health behaviour scores were 0.77 (95%CI: 0.66, 0.90), 0.67 (95%CI: 0.58, 0.78), 0.56 (95%CI: 0.47, 0.65), 0.51 (95%CI: 0.42, 0.62), respectively. The population attributable risks for cancer incidence was 10.4% for those having scores less than 3 items.Never smoked, moderate alcohol intake, maintaining normal weight, being physically fit, and having enough daily fruit and vegetable intake were associated with lower risk of total cancer incidence in men. Our data showed that healthy lifestyle could significantly benefit the public health programs of the population.

Investment is an everlasting focus point in our life, especially in 21st century. Various households have different investment portfolios which are based on the different attributes of every age stage. Classification of typical household is interrelated with investment yield of every portfolio. To know the characteristic of every type of household directly affects the investor to allocate capital reasonable and rational. This paper aims to define and assort typical family in Beijing, by using mutual exclusive theory and primary data collected by distributing questionnaire and depth interview and second hand information. Furthermore, under every general group, there are also some different subgroups which assorted by unique variables according to the features of different age stages. The research paper shows nine categories of typical family in Beijing and denotes detailed divisiory basis respectively.

A high temperature superconducting (HTS) filter on double-sided Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 (Tl-2223) thin films is designed in this letter. High-quality double-sided Tl-2223 thin films are prepared on 10 × 10 × 0.5 mm3 LaAlO3 (001) substrate. The critical temperatures Tc of the films are 120 ± 1 K and the critical current densities Jc are 3–4 MA/cm2 at 77 K for both sides. X-ray diffraction θ-2θ scans and rotational ϕ-scans prove that the films are strongly textured with the c axis perpendicular to the substrate surface. A 3-pole band-pass filter is then fabricated on the Tl-2223 thin films with 4% relative bandwidth and a center frequency of 4.0 GHz. At 77 K, 100 K, and 102 K, the insertion loss in the passband is 0.088 dB, 0.21 dB, and 0.27 dB, respectively. These performances show that the proposed HTS filter is satisfying even when the operating temperature is above 100 K, which makes it possible to work in outer space without cryogenic systems.
