application/pdf, 読み書きが苦手な児童・生徒は，友達と違った自分の意見を述べることを不安に感じている。一方で，児童・生徒の中には，授業の中での友達の出す考え方が多様すぎて正答，誤答が判明できないことから国語を難しい教科であると感じている者がいる。本来は国語こそ学校教育の中で児童・生徒の多面的な見方・考え方を育むことができる教科である。その多面性を有効に活用することによって，読み書きが苦手な児童・生徒を含めた子どもたち全員に深い学びを成立させることができる。本論文でその方法とそのための条件を明らかにした。

application/pdf, 香川大学とチェンマイ大学との交流は1990年の交流協定調印、2007年の海外教育研究交流拠点大学化を経て、順調に拡大し.複数の部局で教育・研究の両面にわたり活発な交流が行われている。本稿では、教育学部とのこれまでの交流経緯、次いで合同シンポジウム、教員間での共同研究、学生プログラムの概要についてまとめる。最後に今後の共同研究の可能性、学生交流の将来展望について述べる。, Exchanges between Kagawa University and Chiang Mai University have been developing successfully since the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 1990 and the designation of Chiang Mai University as the core international partner university being a hub in education and research activities in 2007. Active exchanges have been carried out in both the fields of education and research involving several faculties at each university. This article summarizes the exchange history between the Faculty of Education at Kagawa University, looks at the joint symposia, collaborative research and student programmes. Finally, we consider possible future collaborations in research and students exchange programmes.

pdf, 本稿では、現在まで調査されたバチカン図書館所蔵マリオ・マレガ神父収集文書を中心として、臼杵藩を例に近世豊後におけるキリシタン禁制政策の展開について検討した。 臼杵藩のキリシタン禁制政策は、当初、キリシタン一人一人を改宗させることをめざしていた。表面上キリシタンがいない状況になった寛永12年（1635）、改宗した者を名子・下人なども含む「いえ」単位で把握し監視する体制を作っている。正保３年（1646）、改宗した者が改宗する前に生まれた子ども等も監視の対象者に加え、各村の地縁的な繋がりを断ちきって改宗した者を散らばらせ五人組を編成することにより、監視体制の強化を図った。 延宝５年（1677）以降は隔年で長崎奉行所から踏絵を借用し絵踏を実施し、元禄元年（1688）からは絵踏を毎年実施としている。貞享４年（1687）には「類族」も監視対象とされ、臼杵藩のキリシタン禁制政策は確立した。この政策は明治４年（1871）まで継続しているが、19世紀になると、宗門改が民衆統制のための年中行事となり、「家内帳」等による民衆把握に重点が置かれるようになっていった。 This paper examines the development of anti-Christian policies in the Bungo region in the early modern period. This will be done by taking the Usuki domain as a case study mainly on the basis of the documents in the Vatican Library’s Marega Collection already surveyed. Initially, the Usuki domain’s policy was to have Christians change their religious affiliation one by one. At least on the surface by the year 1635 (Kan’ei 12) no Christians had remained, and at this stage a system for pinning down all the “converts” and monitoring them by household units (including serfs and subordinates of different kinds) was created. In 1646 (Shoho 3) this surveillance system was further strengthened: children born before their parents conversion and others were also subject to monitoring, and were organized Five-household Groups (goningumi) that held collective responsibility to avoid a concentration of “converts” and ensure that the territorial bonds within villages were severed. After 1677 (Enpō 5) every other year copper-plated “images to be trampled on” or fumi-e were borrowed from the Nagasaki magistrate to carry out an allegiance test, and from 1688, the first year of the Genroku period, a “trampling on images” (e-fumi ) was held annually. In 1687 (Jōkyō 4) the anti-Christian policy in the Usuki domain took his definitive form, by also including descendants of former Christians, known as “cognates” (ruizoku), as objects of surveillance. This system continued to be enforced until 1871, but in the 19th century the Verification of Religious Affiliation” (shūmon aratame) became an annual event for social control, and the emphasis was rather placed on having a firm grasp of local society and its membership through such documents as the kanai-chō, or Family Register.

Background Suvorexant, an orexin receptor antagonist, is known as a safe and effective sleep medication. Many patients with heart failure (HF) have sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and are short sleepers, and it is unknown whether suvorexant is effective in HF patients and can improve insomnia safely. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of suvorexant on SDB in patients with HF. Methods The Heart Failure with Insomnia and Suvorexant trial of Juntendo University Hospital and Juntendo Shizuoka Hospital (J-FLAVOR trial) is a multicenter trial with a randomized double crossover design. We will enroll a total of 30 HF patients treated in the Juntendo University Hospital and Juntendo Shizuoka Hospital. Eligible patients will undergo portable sleep monitoring twice with or without oral administration of suvorexant in a randomly assigned order. Before the study night, patients in the suvorexant first group will receive suvorexant for 4 consecutive days. There are at least 3 wash-out days between the study nights with and without suvorexant. Primary outcome measures of the non-inferiority trial of suvorexant include the apnea-hypopnea index and the severity of SDB, and the results will be compared between the study nights with and without suvorexant. Conclusion The present study can determine whether suvorexant can be used in HF patients without affecting their SDB. This is a pilot study to primarily assess whether suvorexant affects the severity of SDB in patients with HF. Therefore, further study is warranted to investigate whether suvorexant alters short- and long-term clinical outcomes by providing longer and better sleep in patients with HF.

We carried out a phase I/II trial of chemoradiotherapy concurrent with S-1 and cisplatin to determine the maximum tolerated dose and recommended dose and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this treatment in patients with esophageal carcinoma. Thoracic esophageal cancer patients with clinical stage II/III disease, excluding T4, were eligible. Chemotherapy consisted of S-1 at a dose of 60-80 mg/m(2) /day on days 1-14, and cisplatin at 75 mg/m(2) on day 1, repeated twice every 4 weeks. Single daily radiation of 50.4 Gy was given in 28 fractions concurrently starting on day 1. Patients achieving an objective response after chemoradiotherapy underwent two additional cycles of chemotherapy. Patient accrual was terminated early due to slow enrolment after 44 patients were accrued. In the phase I part, two of six patients experienced dose-limiting toxicities at each level of S-1 (S-1 60 or 80 mg/m(2) /day). Considering treatment compliance, the recommended dose was determined to be S-1 60 mg/m(2) /day. The complete response rate, the primary endpoint of phase II, was 59.5% (22/37; 90% confidence interval, 44.6-73.1%; weighted threshold, 57.2%; P = 0.46 by the exact binomial test) on central review. In the phase II part, 3-year progression-free survival was 48.4%, with a 3-year overall survival of 61.9%. Grade 3 or 4 toxicity in phase II included leukopenia (57.9%), neutropenia (50%), hyponatremia (28.9%), anorexia (21.1%), anemia (18.4%), thrombocytopenia (18.4%), and febrile neutropenia (2.6%). No treatment-related deaths were observed. Although this combination showed acceptable toxicity and favorable 3-year survival, the study did not meet its primary endpoint. We conducted a preliminary comparative study of 32 carpal tunnel syndrome patients and a control group of 60 individuals matched for age, gender, height, and weight. Our aim is to determine a diagnostic cutoff score for a screening tool we had developed by carefully selecting questions based on the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand version of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Instrument (CTSI-JSSH). The results were analyzed by using a ROC curve and Youden’s index, and the cutoff score was determined to be 7, indicating that subjects scoring ≥ 7 were positive for CTS. We then used this cutoff score to create a 2 × 2 contingency table to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and efficiency of the tool. The values obtained were the same as, or higher than, those in previous studies. The screening tool that we developed has the advantages of low cost and low risk; furthermore, it allows for quick self-assessment. Objectives: To elucidate the relationship between posture and oral function in the elderly and to verify the effects of interventions aimed at improving posture on oral functions, particularly in the frail elderly. Methods: We evaluated postural conditions and oral and respiratory functions in 11 healthy elderly people living locally and 9 frail elderly persons using day-care services. The frail elderly were assigned to 2 groups. Interventions were performed for a total of 16 weeks in a crossover design; they comprised regular swallowing exercises and fallprevention exercises aimed at improving posture and balance. Results: Postural conditions in the elderly were correlated with oral function and respiratory function. Intervention with either the aspiration-prevention exercises or the fall-prevention exercises significantly improved kyphotic posture in the frail elderly. Intervention with the fall-prevention exercises alone improved swallowing function and oral-related quality of life（ QOL）. 困難な状況にあるとされる教員を如何に支援するかを考えるにあたり，これまでの先行研究の蓄積の結果，職員室という環境が注目を集めることが多くなってきた。しかしこれまで，職員室を，実際にその場を構成する当事者である教員の立場から検討しようとする研究はほとんど見られなかった。 そうした状況を鑑み，本論文においては，当事者である教員が職員室という場を如何に意味づけているかということを検討することの意義について，まず論じた。そしてその意味づけを考察するにあたっては，教員による「語り」，「言葉」を研究対象とすべきことを，言葉を，それを語る者の「世界の見方」としたBakhtin の言語論，更にMoos による社会的風土概念から示した。 本論文は，今後の職員室研究が如何に進展すべきかを，先行研究のレビューを基に理論的に検討したものである。

本研究では，職員室が一体如何なる環境であるのか，つまり職員室風土とは如何なるものであるのかを，8名の現役教員に対する聞き取り調査を行うことから検討した。その結果これまで指摘されてきた5つの機能の他に，「様々な問題に対応するための組織の柔軟性の提供」，「子ども達の駆け込み場所となる」，「教員の孤立を防ぐ」，「学校としての組織風土や雰囲気を醸成する場を提供する」という4つの機能が職員室にあることが新たに見出された。また個別の教員のインタビューを比較検討した結果，職員室という環境が，「教員集団」，「職員室の構造」，「学校の構造・教育内容」，その教員の「個人要素」という4つの要素が複雑に絡み合った結果成立しているものであることが示唆された。

A new cost-effective process to fabricate aluminide coatings was developed. Coating layers consisting of nickel aluminides could be formed by electrodeposition of Al layers from a dimethylsulfone-AlCl₃ electrolyte on Ni substrates and subsequent annealing in air or vacuum at temperatures of 700–1150°C. Analysis of the intermetallic layers by XRD, SEM and EDX indicated the formation of Al₃Ni and Al₃Ni₂ at 700°C, AlNi at 900°C and 1000°C, and AlNi and AlNi₃ at 1150°C. The Annealing atmosphere did not affect the resulting intermetallic products.

乳幼児期、学齢期、成年期である発達障がい児・者の養育者に対して、日常の子育てで困っていることについて自由記述形式で調査した。また学齢期の調査協力者には、併せて学校生活における良かったことや困ったことについても自由記述形式で調査した。その結果、記述の内容は障がい特性、外的環境、養育困難、対人関係の４つの軸に分類され、それぞれのライフステージによってどの軸が養育者の中で重要な問題となるかは異なっていることが明らかとなった。また、学校生活に関する記述は、教育システム・カリキュラム、障がい特性の理解、ネットワーク、当事者問題の４つに分類され、特に障がい特性の理解に関する記述が多く見られた。これらの結果から、発達障がい児・者への支援はライフステージを見通した支援が必要になってくること、学校現場では障がい特性を十分に理解した上での支援が今後の課題であることが示唆された。

application/pdf, 新学習指導要領の全面実施と共に学力低下論が各方面で取り上げられるようになってきた。しかし,その議論の中心である「学力」そのものの概念規定が曖昧であり,議論は空回りしている。そもそも学力とは何か。各教科教育ではどういう学力を育てようとしているのか。この問題に応えるために,本論考では,教科の本質論の議論から出発し,各教科の学力論についてまとめて,学力を整理したマトリックスを作成した。さらに,このマトリックスを受けて各担当者らがこれからの教科教育のあり方を展望した。

This work describes the implementation of a novel robot workcell programming interface that allows an assembly designer to obtain immediate feedback regarding the manufacturability of his/her design. The interface allows the user to manipulate the three-dimensional CAD/CAM models of the components and “assemble” them into the final product. The computer then analyzes the relevant assembly operations and translates them into low-level commands for the robots in the specific workcell under consideration. This work is motivated by the complexity and time-consuming nature of manually programming flexible assembly cells for the manufacture of different products, particularly when they involve the cooperation of multiple robot manipulators.

高大連携校より本学への入学が決定した生徒を対象とした単位認定科目「コミュニケーションリテラシー」を開講した。同科目の内容やスケジュールは、平成19 年度よりほぼ月に一度のペースで高大連携協定校教員と本学教職員で構成する「コミュニケーション教育研究会」で調査研究・見学・参観・討議などを重ねて決定されたものである。この研究会の中ではまた、ブレインストーミングにより、経済産業省の「社会人基礎能力」を基本とした「職業を持った社会人に必要とされる能力要素」の洗い出しを行ない、これら要素の必要性や獲得度のアンケート調査を実施した。対象は高大連携校と全国の高校である。その結果、職業をもった社会人にもっとも必要とされる基本的な基礎能力は、「コミュニケーション能力」と「一般常識」であること、さらには「課題発見能力や企画・提案能力」や「表現力やプレゼンテーション能力」が不十分であるととらえられていることがわかった。こうした問題意識を踏まえて「コミュニケーションリテラシー」の実施内容を組み立てた。本年度の「コミュニケーションリテラシー」受講生は110 名となった。この効果を検証することは容易ではないが、受講生に対しアンケート調査などを行った結果に関しても報告する。, Novel coordination program, namely, "Communication Literacy", consisting of 15 lesson classes, was developed and held for secondary school third grade students.
