The paper describe the application of robotic system installed in the Laboratory for welding. In addition to its application for the purpose of providing education and training of workers / operators to work with the robot is used for the purpose of testing and simulation of welding of certain products for which there are requirements for large quantities of the product, and tight tolerances required quality of welded joints. One such product appeared in the production program of the company SIGMAT d.o.o. and carried out the analysis of the possibilities of applying modern technologies in the manufacturing. It was a part of the shaft on the machine, and the quality requirements are very high. Thus, the cutting part of individual segments using the technology of water cutting to satisfy the requirements of surface roughness and that after cutting without additional machining kept within tolerance. How is the part derived welded and to maximize the productivity of simulation and testing work on the robot welding MOTOMAN HP6 was done welding. The very justification for the introduction of robots in the manufacturing process comes from the fact that the welding robots: relentless, predictable, precise, reliable, flexible , applicable to all the unpleasant work areas, consistent quality, economical with materials and energy, etc. The expected results of the application of robots are more efficient production through: increased productivity, improved quality in reducing the percentage of scrap. To achieve the desired success, it is very meticulously and introduce a robot to being involved in the analysis and application of robotic systems in the production of the required part.
