Background and objectives: Basic components for Intra-cardiac repair of TOF are the same in every cardiac center except the timing which varies according to the capability of the team. Free PR is inevitable in case of a trans-annular patch which ultimately leads to RV dilatation, dysfunction, arrhythmia and failure with time. There is an ongoing endeavor to reconstruct the RVOT with the aim to avoid free PR in physiological repair. If RVOT reconstruction is done, RV dysfunction is absent or delayed which can avoid further re intervention. Monocuspid reconstruction of PV is commonly practiced in many centers but its long term outcome is poor though it helps to achieve aless stormy ICU course. Modified monocusp or bicuspid PV reconstruction is adopted in many centers using 0.1mm PTFE membrane. We represented the results of Modified Monocus PV reconstruction using a 0.1mm PTFE patch in repair of TOF with a trans-annular patch. Methodology: A total, 42 patients diagnosed as TOF were treated from January 2016 to October 2020. Age ranged from 18 months to 35 years, weighing 10 kg to 70 kg. 38 patients had TOF and 4 had DORV with PS. The trans-annular patch was followed by implantation of a 0.1-mm PTFE valve using posterior fixation. Results: Among the total42 patients,28 were male and 14 were females. Mean age was10.51±7.49 yrs and BSA was 0.90±0.34 kg/m2. Mean total bypass time was 187±31 min, cross-clamp time was 123.63±25.42 min. Out of 42 patients, 9(21.43%) had a PV gradient 0-10 mm/Hg, 24(57.14%) had 10-20 mm/Hg, and 9(21.43%) had >20 mm/Hg in the post-operative echocardiogram. PR gradient was trivial in 7(16.67%), mild in 31(73.1%), moderate in 4(9.52%) patients. Follow-up echocardiogram revealed PR gradient remained trivial in 4(10%) patients, augmented from trivial to mild in 3(7.5%) and mild to moderate in 05(12.5%) patients. It remained moderate in 03(7.5%). There was no severe PR. ICU stay was 89±32.6 hours and mean hospital stay 11.48±2.1 days. Conclusions: Initial results using a transannular patch with a modified monocuspvalve to repair the RV outflow tract in cases of tetralogy of Fallot were promising. There were only a slight pressure gradient and mild regurgitation in most of the cases. A medium or long-term follow-up study is required to confirm these findings and compare them with results obtained using other techniques. AKMMC J 2021; 12(2): 82-90

Bacillus species synthesize antifungal lipopeptides (LPs) making them a sustainable and eco-friendly management option to combat Fusarium wilt of chickpea.In this study, 18 endophytic Bacillus strains were assessed for their antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceris (FOC) associated with Fusarium wilt of chickpea. Among them, 13 strains produced significant inhibition zones in a direct antifungal assay while five strains failed to produce the inhibition of FOC. Bacillus thuringiensis CHGP12 exhibited the highest inhibition 3.45 cm of FOC. The LPs extracted from CHGP12 showed significant inhibition of the pathogen. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis confirmed that CHGP12 possessed the ability to produce fengycin, surfactin, iturin, bacillaene, bacillibactin, plantazolicin, and bacilysin. In an in vitro qualitative assay CHGP12 exhibited the ability to produce lipase, amylase, cellulase, protease, siderophores, and indole 3-acetic acid (IAA). IAA and gibberellic acid (GA) were quantified using ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) with 370 and 770 ng mLIn conclusion, our findings suggest that B. thuringiensis CHGP12 is a promising strain with high antagonistic and growth-promoting potential against Fusarium wilt of chickpea. © 2022 Society of Chemical Industry.

The effluent load from textile industries has forced traders and industrialists to use sustainable tools that not only save energy, money, and labor but also make the process cleaner. The purpose of this study is to improve the dyeing of proteinous fabrics using Acid Violet 49 dye under microwave radiation. Aqueous and acidic dye solutions were prepared and treated with MW radiations for up to 10 min. MW treated and untreated dye solutions were used to color treated and untreated fabrics to observe color yield. It has been found that dyeing of irradiated silk at 65 °C for 35 min, using 55 mL of irradiated dye solution containing 1 g/100 mL salt, has given excellent results. Whereas good color characteristics are obtained if irradiated wool fabric is dyed at 85 °C for 55 min, using 55 mL irradiated dye solution using 1 g/100 mL salt. Physicochemical analysis reveals that MW rays have physically modified the fabric without altering its chemistry. ISO standard methods employed for colorfastness show that under optimal conditions, the color developed is fast; statistical analysis shows that the dyeing process has given significant results. It is concluded that MW rays have excellent potential to improve acidic dyeing of proteinous fabric under mild conditions which show that the utilization of MW rays is a cost-, time-, and energy-effective process.

Design of bridge piers and abutments is significantly impacted by hydrodynamic processes that cause scouring of the foundation. Although, many empirical formulae are available in the literature to estimate the depth of scouring, but they suffer from several limitations. A major limitation of empirical formulae is that they are largely applicable to the hydraulic conditions for which they have been derived. In this research, a deep neural network (DNN) has been developed and applied to predict the depth of scour around bridge piers and abutments. The practicality of the proposed model has been demonstrated using the experimental data sets consisting of 211 data points. The novelty of the DNN model applied herein lies in the use of Adam Optimizer for optimizing the parameters of the DNN model. The performance of the DNN model was evaluated for each parameter set using statistical indicators such as the coefficient of determination, root mean square error, and mean absolute error. A regression equation based upon the available data set has also been proposed. Based upon the values of the statistical parameters, the DNN model has been found to be significantly better than the regression model. The model proposed herein performs better than the regression model. A distinct practical advantage of the model proposed herein is that it eliminates the need of hit and trial procedure to determine the optimal parameter set for the model.

The revival of natural dyes in different walks of life is due to stringent environmental standards imposed by many associations. For current studies, flowers of haar singhar (Nyctanthes arbor-tritis) has been chosen for bio-dyeing of cotton fabric using microwave irradiation techniques. For this purpose, liquid extracts and fabrics were exposed to microwave for 5 min at various conditions. These treated and un-treated dye extracts obtained in respective media were employed to dye the radiated and non-radiated cotton fabrics. The characterization of extract and untreated and undyed irradiated fabrics samples was done through FTIR. Different dyeing variables were optimized under CCD response surface methodology as a statistical tool. With the introduction of new shades and improvement of colorfastness properties, different concentrations of sustainable chemical and bio-mordant were employed. All dyed cotton fabrics were exposed to CIE-color space system for estimation of color coordinates and color strength by using spectra flash SF600 and to rate colorfastness properties using ISO standard methods for light, dry and wet rubbing, washing fastness. Cotton fabric was dyed with haar singhar flower extract of 7 pH from 4 g of powder, using 1.5 g/100 mL salt solution at 60 °C for 30 min. To get acceptable shades, aqueous extract after microwave treatment for 4 min provided excellent color strength. Pistachio (K/S = 3.6342) is a bio-mordant with great results, and aluminum (K/S = 4.8205) is a chemical mordant with outstanding results. It is found that green methods for isolation of colorant and green mordants for getting new shades should be employed.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a very common gastrointestinal disorder worldwide, but research regarding this disease is rare in Bangladesh. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of IBS and its associated risk factors among university students in Bangladesh.This is a cross-sectional study. A total of 300 randomly selected participants were included in this study. By using a structured questionnaire and anthropometric methods, we collected all the required data for our study. The diagnosis of IBS was based on Rome III criteria.The overall prevalence of IBS was 39.3%, but the majority (77.3%) had no basic awareness of IBS. In our study, anxiety and depression (IBS is common in university students of Bangladesh and is associated with anxiety, depression, and particular dietary patterns.

Replicator Neural Network (RNN) is a popular algorithm for anomaly detection, but finding optimal number of hidden layers and then finding optimal number of neurons in each hidden layer is quite a challenging and time-consuming task. Extreme Learning Machines (ELM) are neural networks with single-hidden layer but the learning algorithm is different and faster than back-propagation. ELM-based RNNs solve our problem of determining the number of hidden layers and the learning algorithm is also faster than gradient-descent based RNN. The problem of identifying the optimal number of neurons in the hidden layer can be solved by Garson algorithm. In this work, the author propose an optimal Replicator Neural Network which is optimized using ELM learning and Garson algorithm for anomaly detection. The experimental results show that the proposed method is fast as well as highly accurate.

Drug Target Interactions (DTIs) are crucial in drug discovery as it reduces the range of candidate searches, speeding up the drug screening process. Considering in vitro and in vivo experimentations are time and cost-expensive, there has been a surge in computational techniques, especially ML methods for DTIs prediction. Therefore, this study aims to present a methodology that uses molecular structures and amino acid sequences for generating PSSM and PubChem fingerprints for drugs and targets respectively. The proposed work uses a novel technique NearestCUS for handling the class imbalance problem of the benchmark datasets. We use Isomap Embedding to extract features from PSSMs. Feature selection is performed using ANOVA. CatBoost is used for predicting the interaction between drugs and targets for the first time. To quantify the efficacy of NearestCUS, we compared it with other sampling techniques. We found that the proposed methodology performed better than state-of-the-art approaches.

IntroductionThe burgeoning population of the world is causing food insecurity not only by less food availability but also by the malnutrition of essential nutrients and vitamins. Malnutrition is mostly linked with food having micronutrients lower than the optimal concentration of that specific food commodity and becoming an emerging challenge over the globe. Microbial biofortification in agriculture ensures nutritional security through microbial nitrogen fixation, and improved phosphate and zinc solubilization, which increase the uptake of these nutrients. The present study evaluates the novel plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) to biofortify maize gain.MethodsFor this purpose, a pot and two field experiments for maize were conducted. PGPRs were applied alone and in combination for a better understanding of the biofortification potential of these strains. At physiological maturity, the growth parameters, and at harvest, the yield, microbial population, and nutritional status of maize were determined.Results and discussionResults revealed that the consortium (ZM27+ZM63+S10) has caused the maximum increase in growth under pot studies like plant height (31%), shoot fresh weight (28%), shoot dry weight (27%), root fresh (33%) and dry weights (29%), and microbial count (21%) in the maize rhizosphere. The mineral analysis of the pot trial also revealed that consortium of ZM27+ZM63+S10 has caused 28, 16, 20, 11 and 11% increases in P, N, K, Fe, and Zn contents in maize, respectively, as compared to un-inoculated treatment in pot studies. A similar trend of results was also observed in both field trials as the consortium of ZM27+ZM63+S10 caused the maximum increase in not only growth and biological properties but also caused maximum biofortification of mineral nutrients in maize grains. The grain yield and 1000-grain weight were also found significantly higher 17 and 12%, respectively, under consortium application as compared to control. So, it can be concluded from these significant results obtained from the PGPR consortium application that microbial inoculants play a significant role in enhancing the growth, yield, and quality of the maize. However, the extensive evaluation of the consortium may help in the formulation of a biofertilizer for sustainable production and biofortification of maize to cope with nutritional security.

The objective of the study was to explore the potential correlates of stress. The stress was measured on some common symptoms like feeling tension, headache, abnormal appetite, blood pressure, physical energy, feeling tired. The data was collected from Faisalabad district using a planned questionnaire covering information concerning different stress indicators and life habits. Marital status, Gender, habit of late hours working, educational level, smoking, and BMI were considered to be potential contributory factors. Using cross-tabulation and chi-square test of association, marital status (p-value=0.0398), late working habit (p-value=0.0005), education (p-value=0.0133) were found to be associated with stress. Clostridium perfringens is a ubiquitous spore-forming anaerobic pathogen that is frequently associated with enteric disease in chickens. Moreover, enterotoxin-producing C. perfringens has high zoonotic potential as well as serious public health concerns due to the emanation of food-borne intoxication. The present study was designed to isolate, identify, and toxinotype C. perfringens from both healthy and cases of necrotic or ulcerative enteritis chickens. A total of 110 samples were collected from July 2019 to February 2021. Among the samples, 38 (34.5%, 95% CI: 26.39–43.83) were positive for C. perfringens and were obtained from broiler 21 (33.3%, 95% CI: 22.91–45.67), Sonali 9 (34.6%, 95% CI: 19.31–53.88), and layer 8 (38%, 95% CI: 20.68–59.20). C. perfringens was highly prevalent (35.7%, 95% CI: 25.48–47.44) in enteritis chickens compared with healthy ones. In multiplex PCR toxinotyping, 34 (89.4%) isolates were identified as C. perfringens type A by the presence of the alpha toxin gene (cpa). Moreover, in addition to the cpa gene, 3 (14.3%, 95% CI: 4.14–35.48) broiler and 1 (11.1%, 95% CI: 0.01–45.67) Sonali isolates harbored the enterotoxin gene (cpe) and were classified as type F. However, none of the isolates carried genes encoding beta (cpb), epsilon (etx), iota (iap), or beta-2 (cpb2) toxins. Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified the following variables such as; “previously used litter materials” (OR 21.77, 95% CI 2.22–212.66, p ≤ 0.008 ); intestinal lesions, “presence of ulceration” (OR 30.01, 95% CI 3.02–297.91, p ≤ 0.004 ); “ballooned with gas” (OR 24.74, 95% CI 4.34–140.86, p ≤ 0.001 ) and “use of probiotics” (OR 5.24, 95% CI 0.74–36.75, p ≤ 0.095 ) act as risk factors for C. perfringens colonization in chicken gut. This is the first study of molecular toxinotyping of C. perfringens from healthy and enteric-diseased chickens in Bangladesh, which might have a potential food-borne zoonotic impact on human health.

Background and Aim: A vaccine program for coronavirus illness (coronavirus disease [COVID-19]) is currently underway in numerous regions of the world, including Bangladesh, but no health data on those who have been vaccinated are available at this time. The study aimed to investigate the health condition of people who had received their first dose of the Oxford- AstraZeneca vaccine and were infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Materials and Methods: To detect SARS-CoV-2, a standard virological approach, real-time reverse transcriptase-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), was used. Several health indicators from vaccinated patients were collected using pre-structured questionnaires during the infection phase. Results: A total of 6146 suspicious samples were analyzed, and 1752 were found to be positive for SARS-CoV-2, with 200 people receiving the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. One hundred and sixty-five (82.5%) were not hospitalized among the vaccinated people, and 177 (88.5%) did not have any respiratory problems. Only 8% of patients required further oxygen support, and 199 (99.5%) did not require intensive care unit intervention. Overall, oxygen saturation was recorded at around 96.8% and respiratory difficulties did not extend more than 5 days during the infection period. Among the vaccinated COVID-19-positive people, 113 (56.5%) and 111 (55.5%) had typical physiological taste and smell. Surprisingly, 129 (64.5%) people had diverse comorbidities, with high blood pressure (27.9%) and diabetes (32 [24.8%]) being the most common. The major conclusion of the current study was that 199 (99.5%) of vaccinated patients survived in good health and tested negative for RT-qPCR. Conclusion: According to the findings of this study, administering the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine considerably reduces health risks during the COVID-19 infection period.

Environmentally friendly products are the need of the hour, particularly in this pandemic situation because synthetic products need such toxic chemicals for their formulation and finishing which are carcinogenic for the globe. The current study is the utilization of waste black tea leaf (BT)-based tannin brown natural colorant for silk dyeing using microwave treatment. Dye (tannin) has been isolated in various media before and after microwave treatment up to 6 min and applied at various conditions. It has been found that 30 mL of aqueous extract of 3.0 pH obtained from 6.0 g of powder containing 3.0 g/100 mL of salt as an exhausting agent after microwave treatment for 5 min, when employed at 55 °C for 45 min, has given good color yield onto silk. Iron (3%) and acacia extract (2%) as pre-chemical and bio mordant, iron (2%) and pomegranate extract (2%) as post chemical and bio-mordant, and Al (3 %) and pomegranate extract (3%) as meta chemical and bio-mordant have given new shades with good to excellent fastness ratings. It is inferred that waste black tea leaves (BTs) in an aqueous medium have an excellent potential to serve as a source of natural tannin brown dye for the coloration of surface-modified silk fabrics under the influence of cost, energy, and time-effective microwave treatment. Additionally, the utilization of a low amount of sustainable chemical and bio-mordants has valorized the dyeing of silk by developing soothing and sustainable shades with good fastness properties.

The production of trans‐fats and chemical changes during the process of frying are serious public health concerns and must be monitored efficiently. For this purpose, the canola oil was formulated with different ratio of extra virgin olive oil and palm olein using D‐optimal mixture design, and the best formulation (67:22:11) based on free fatty acid (FFA) content, peroxide value (PV), and iodine value (IV) as responses was selected for multiple frying process. The data on FFA, PV, and IV along with Fourier transform‐infrared (FT‐IR) spectra were taken after each frying up to ten frying. The spectral data were preprocessed with standard normal variate followed by principal component analysis which is clearly showing the differentiation for various frying. Similarly, partial least square regression was applied to predict the FFA (0.37%–1.63%), PV (4.47–13.85 meqO2/kg), and IV (111.51–51.39 I2/100 g) which demonstrated high coefficient of determination (R2) 0.84, 0.83, and 0.81, respectively. It can be summarized that FT‐IR can be used as a novel tool for fast and noninvasive quality determination of frying oils., The current study was designed to make canola oil blends with different concentrations of olive oil and palm olein. These blends were optimized by D‐optimal Design using the oil stability parameters such as free fatty acid (FFA), peroxide (PV), and iodine values (IV). The optimized canola oil blend was further used for multiple frying, and FT‐IR spectral fingerprints were taken which is considered to be a rapid, non‐destructive, and environment‐friendly analytical tool for characterization of the chemical changes taken place due to the processing.

Recently, recycled field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) pose a significant hardware security problem due to the proliferation of the semiconductor supply chain. Ring oscillator (RO) based frequency analyzing technique is one of the popular methods, where most studies used the known fresh FPGAs (KFFs) in machine learning-based detection, which is not a realistic approach. In this paper, we present a novel recycled FPGA detection method by examining the symmetry information of the RO frequency using unsupervised anomaly detection method. Due to the symmetrical array structure of the FPGA, some adjacent logic blocks on an FPGA have comparable RO frequencies, hence our method simply analyzes the RO frequencies of those blocks to determine how similar they are. The proposed approach efficiently categorizes recycled FPGAs by utilizing direct density ratio estimation through outliers detection. Experiments using Xilinx Artix-7 FPGAs demonstrate that the proposed method accurately classifies recycled FPGAs from 10 fresh FPGAs by x fewer computations compared with the conventional method.

Mycotoxin contamination of food and feed is a major concern in sub-Sahara African countries, particularly Nigeria. It represents a significant limit to health of human, livestock as well as the international trade. Aflatoxins, fumonisins, ochratoxin, zearalenone, deoxynivalenol and beauvericin are the major mycotoxins recognised in the aetiology of food safety challenges that precipitated countless number of diseases. In Nigeria, aflatoxins and fumonisin found in nearly all crops are the most common mycotoxins of economic and health importance such as sorghum, maize and groundnuts. Thus, consumption of food contaminated with mycotoxins are inevitable, hence the need for adequate regulation is necessary in these frontier economies as done in many developed economies to ensure food safety for human and animals. In low and middle-income countries, especially Nigeria, there is lack of awareness and sufficient information on the risk associated with consequent of mycotoxin contamination on wellbeing of human, animals health and the economy. It is based on the foregoing that this paper summarized the status of mycotoxin present in Nigerian food and feeds relative to the global regulatory standards. This aimed at preventing consuming mycotoxin contaminated food stuff while confronting its associated challenges. Suggestions on some possible control strategies to mitigate vending mycotoxin food and feeds were made.

Recently, the evolution of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) has embarked on a journey of revolutionizing the field of artificial and computational intelligence. To improve the generating ability of GANs, various loss functions are introduced to measure the degree of similarity between the samples generated by the generator and the real data samples, and the effectiveness of the loss functions in improving the generating ability of GANs. In this paper, we present a detailed survey for the loss functions used in GANs, and provide a critical analysis on the pros and cons of these loss functions. First, the basic theory of GANs along with the training mechanism are introduced. Then, the most commonly used loss functions in GANs are introduced and analyzed. Third, the experimental analyses and comparison of these loss functions are presented in different GAN architectures. Finally, several suggestions on choosing suitable loss functions for image synthesis tasks are given.

Sustainability in all applied fields particularly in textiles is to protect our globe, environment, and community, where green dyed products are playing their role. For the current study, Esfand (Peganum harmala) has been explored using a green isolation tool, i.e., ultrasonic (U.S.) rays, and applied onto fabric. Different dyeing parameters have been explored statistically through response surface methodology by employing temperature (50-80°C), time (25-65 min), extract volume (15-55 mL), salt (1-5 g/100 mL), and dye bath pH (4-7) through series of experiments. For developing new shades, green mordants such as elaichi, neem, turmeric, and zeera have been utilized. It has been found that exposure of 35 mL extract of 7 pH containing 3 g/100 mL of salt as exhausting agent to U.S. rays for 30 min for the dyeing of silk at 70°C for 45 min has given maximum color strength with reddish-yellow shades. Color characteristics obtained in the CIE Lab system reveal that 5% of turmeric as meta bio-mordant has given good quality reddish-yellow shades. It is found that U.S. rays have not only good potential to isolate colorant followed by dyeing of silk under reduced condition but also the application of bio-mordants have made the process more greener, sustainable, and cleaner.

Background: Atrial Septal Defects (ASD) can be closed surgically using conventional midline sternotomy or minimal invasive technique. This study was done to evaluate the outcome and safety of the minimal invasive cardiac surgical (MICS) approach using right vertical infra axillary incision (RVAI) for the repair of ASD. Methods: We performed a prospective observational cross-sectional analysis on 50 patients who were diagnosed as ASD of various types and not amenable to device closure. Their surgery was done RVAI using central cardiopulmonary bypass. Outcome of the study was evaluated using the following variables: length of the incision, satisfaction of patients, mortality, infection of surgical site, blood transfusion, duration of total operation, intensive care unit (ICU) stay, mechanical ventilation, hospital stay and aortic occlusion. Operations were done between December 2013 to December 2020. All the recruited patients were treated through RVAI as per patient’s choice. Results: Mean age was 11.4± 6.4 years. 18(36%) were male and 32(64%) were female. Body weight ranged from 10 to 65 kg. Mean length of incision was 6.2±0.8 cm. Mean aortic occlusion time was 42±14 min. ASD closed directly, using autologous treated pericardial patch or dacron patch. Mean total operation time was 4.08±0.6 hours and mean mechanical ventilation time was 8.3±5 hours. Average ICU stay was 35.6±6 hours and total hospital stay was 7.2±0.9 days. There was no significant blood loss. Only 10 patients required intravenous (IV) analgesics in the post-operative period. One patient required re-exploration, one conversion to median sternotomy and one suffered from superficial skin infection. There were no operative or late mortalities. Patient satisfaction was excellent. Conclusions: MICS technique using RVAI for surgical repair of ASD revealed a safe procedure and could be performed with excellent cosmetic and clinical outcomes. In the current pandemic scenario, sustainable green products particularly antiviral, antioxidant, and antibacterial in nature are gaining worldwide fame in almost every walk of life. Cassia obovata (C. obovata) has been valorized as a source of yellow natural dye for nylon dyeing. For the isolation of dye extracts and for surface tuning, nylon fabrics were treated with microwave rays up to 10 min. For getting new shades with good to excellent fastness characteristics, sustainable bio-mordants in comparison with chemical mordants have been used at 60 °C, 70 °C, and 80°C. It has been found that for getting effective colorant yield, acidic extract should be exposed to MW ray treatment up to 6 min, and for getting improved fastness rating, bio-mordants have given excellent color characteristics. Statistical optimization of dyeing variable shows that application of 40 mL of C. obovata acidic extract of RE of 6 pH containing 3 g/100 mL of salt when employed at 55 °C for 45 min has given excellent results onto irradiated nylon fabric (RNF). It is inferred that Cassia obovata has an excellent potential for coloration of surface-modified fabrics, where the application of low amount of bio-mordants under statistical optimized conditions has made process more ecological, economical, and sustainable.

Long-term use of chemical fertilizers is affecting the environment, soil quality, and biodiversity. Organic agriculture is gaining global attention by using microbial-based biofertilizers. Carriers protect microbes by providing nutrition, energy, and suitable conditions for their survival while entering the natural environments. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ability of different carrier materials to enhance the yield and the quality of spinach and to select the best carrier material for spinach biofertilizer. Three pre-isolated and characterized bacterial strains (AN-35, ZM-27, and ZM-63) were tested for their compatibility and used in this experiment through seed inoculation with organic carriers, i.e., compost, peat, press mud, biochar, and charcoal. A pot experiment and a field experiment were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of different organic carriers. The results of the pot study showed a significant increase in spinach growth, i.e., shoot length (25%), shoot fresh weight (24%), root length (25%), and root fresh weight (29%), spinach nutrition, i.e., nitrogen (18%), phosphorus (22%), potassium (15%), iron (17%), and zinc (14%), spinach physiology, i.e., relative water content (27%), chlorophyll content (9%), and the membrane stability index (28%) under peat coated treatments with 24% more soil microbial populations compared to the control. Similarly, in the field experiment, peat coating significantly enhanced spinach growth, i.e., shoot length (29%), shoot fresh weight (23%), root length (16%), and root fresh weight (24.7%), spinach nutrition, i.e., nitrogen (16%), phosphorus (19%), potassium (15%), iron (17%), and zinc (23%), spinach physiology, i.e., relative water content (28%), chlorophyll content (13%) and the membrane stability index (32%), and spinach yield per hectare (30%), as well as producing 20% higher soil microbial populations. From these results, it is concluded that peat is a good carrier material for biofertilizer production as it not only enhances crop production but also the microbial number, in addition to improving soil quality.

Deep learning models depend on sizeable labelled training samples, and it is a common challenge that affects image retrieval based applications. Applications that are affected by these issues are computer vision and search engines. In the traditional system, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is applied for designing high-quality RGB images retrieval. These techniques provided better classification performance, but the learning process of these deep learning algorithms are more complex than the conventional classifiers. Moreover, a practical technique has been raised to alleviate the low training samples called data augmentation. By increasing the learning features of CNN, very high-resolution images can be classified. This paper proposed an effective Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) based on CNN (IRB_CNN) with advantages from data augmentation. In IRB_CNN, feature generation is done by using pre-trained CNN without fully connected layers to get a better result than the overfitting issue of CNN. The training data augmentation method is employed to expand training images. The performance of CNN is enhanced using metaheuristic optimisation for weight optimisation in the training phase. Then CNN as a classifier is used to classify and evaluate the proposed CNN in the testing phase. The proposed model is evaluated using Swiss mountain and arbogreen datasets. The evaluation results have shown that the proposed IRB_CNN achieved an accuracy of 98% and reduced retrieval loss retrieval. Hence the proposed model better for real-time image retrieval than other conventional methods.

Background: Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is one of the most common congenital cardiac defect. In patients with small PV annulus, it has to be augmented to certain diameter by cutting annulus. In these cases, transannular patch is used free PR is inevitable. Free PR with transannular patch ultimately leads to RV dilatation, dysfunction, arrhythmia and failure with time. Monocuspid reconstruction of PV is commonly practiced in many centers but its long-term outcome is poor though it helps to achieve a less stormy ICU course. Modified monocusp or bicuspid PV reconstruction is a good choice where 0.1mm PTFE patch is used. Objectives: We are presenting the results of bicuspid PV reconstruction using a 0.1mm PTFE patch as a method of RVOT reconstruction in repair of TOF with transannular patch. Methods: A total, 42 patients diagnosed as TOF were treated from January 2016 to October 2020. Age range 18 months to 35 years, weighing 10 kg to 70 kg. 38 patients had TOF, 4 had DORV with PS. The transannular patch was followed by implantation of a 0.1-mm PTFE modified monocusp valve using posterior fixation. Results: Among total patients 28 were male and 14 were female. Mean age 9.58±5.6 yrs. Bypass time was 187±31 min, cross-clamp time 123.63±25.42 min. Out of 42 patients, PR gradient was trivial in 7(16.67%), mild in 31(73.1%), moderate in 4(9.52%) patients. First, a follow-up echocardiogram revealed no significant deterioration of PR gradient. ICU stay was 89±32.6 hours and mean hospital stay 11.48±2.1 days. Conclusion: Initial results using a transannular patch with a modified monocusp valve to repair the outflow tract in cases of Tetralogy of Fallot were excellent. Scholarly articles are a great source of knowledge. Learning from them like E-learning requires automatic approaches to build concept-maps, learning paths, etc., as these sources are monotonically increasing and are big too. These sources have multi-domain, variety, huge volumes, which are, in fact, Big Data’s characteristics. Thus data from different domains have to be handled together, especially in the E-learning systems. This paper presents a new approach for concept extraction and semantically clustering and classification of these e-learning concepts using fuzzy membership values. Scholarly articles from different domains are taken for our experimental work, and we tested on BBC datasets with 100 documents and 650 documents. Since the number of domains is known, and all concepts are stored, we have done both clustering and classification for testing our fuzzy-based semantic system. We have used logistics regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Linear kernel, Polynomial kernel, Radial Basis Function (RBF) Kernel, Sigmoid kernel to obtain maximum accuracy up to 94% to 96% for all data sets. In clustering, using K-Means, we got precision up to 93%. The system can be used to generate adaptive learning paths, concept map extraction; Big-Data based E-Learning portals.

Environmental friendly products particularly natural dyes are going to be much popular around the globe due to their non-toxic and bio-degradable nature. The current study was planned to enhance the dyeability of walnut bark having juglone as a reddish-brown natural dye under ultrasonic radiation as an environment-friendly and green tool After conducting series of experiments, it has been found that wool (RW) and extract (RE) after ultrasonic treatment for 45 min, when dyed for 45 min at 55°C using an acidic bath of 3 pH has given good color strength on the wool fabric. To develop the new shades, sustainable and eco-label chemicals (Fe, Al, and tannic acid) and four bio-mordants such as Acacia bark, Turmeric, Henna, and Pomegranate were also applied at optimum conditions. It is studied that 3% of turmeric extract as pre-bio-mordant and 5% of Acacia extract as post-bio-mordant has given excellent color characteristics as compared to their synthetic. It is concluded that ultrasonic treatment being an eco-friendly tool has a great potential to improve the dyeability of natural reddish-brown dye from walnut bark and the inclusion of sustainable biosources as a color modifier has value-added the natural dyeing process with excellent color ratings.
