Objective: The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of basic electrocardiography education designed in accordance with the simulation-based cooperative learning method. Methods: This is a single group, quasi-experimental study. A two-day electrocardiography (ECG) education program was designed for the nursing internship (4th year) program (n=125). Data were gathered with pre-posttest, Students’ Satisfaction and Self-Confidence Scale, Simulation Design Scale and Educational Practices Questionnaire. Results: The knowledge pretest score and the knowledge posttest score averages of the students were 40.36±20.24 and 75.39±11.46 respectively, with a significant difference (p=.001; t=-14.78). The mean score for satisfaction with current learning was 4.77±.42 and the mean score for self-confidence was 4.51±.54. The mean total score for Simulation Design Scale was 4.44±.67 and the mean total score for Educational Practices Questionnaire was 4.66±.56. Conclusion: After simulation-based cooperative learning method, knowledge and skills of the students improved also had high self-confidence and satisfaction with learning.

Developments on health care and technology fields havebrought the simulation practices which are one of the most reliable and validhealth training methods into the forefront. Standardized patients areconsidered as the simulators with the highest reality factor and consist oftrained healthy individuals or real patients who accepted the healthcarepractices planned to be carried out. It is thought that it is not known to whatdegree the standardized patient practices, which are not commonly used innursing training in Turkey, are integrated into curriculum, although it hasmany benefits in many ways. Moreover, its reflections in clinic environment arenot known and it is believed that there is a need for some studies on this subject.Thus, this study aims to contribute to the enhancement of learning environmentsenriched with realistic and contemporary training methods such as standardizedpatient method in nursing training curriculum, Sağlık bakım ve teknolojisindeki gelişmeler, sağlıkeğitiminde geçerli ve güvenilir yöntemlerden biri olan benzetim (simülasyon)uygulamalarını ön plana çıkarmıştır. Gerçekliği en yüksek simülatörler olarakkabul edilen standardize hastalar; eğitilmiş sağlıklı birey ya da gerçek hastadan oluşan, sağlık bakımuygulamalarının kendisine yapılmasını kabul eden toplum üyesidir. Ülkemizdehemşirelik eğitiminde henüz yaygın olarak kullanılmayan standardize hastauygulamasının, pek çok açıdan avantaj sağlamasına rağmen müfredata entegrasyonununne düzeyde olduğu ve klinik ortamdaki yansımalarının bilinmediği, konuylailgili çalışmalara gereksinim olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu makalede amaçstandardize hasta uygulamasının eğitim müfredatında, standardize hasta gibigerçekçi ve güncel öğretim yöntemleri ile zenginleştirilmiş öğrenmeortamlarının arttırılmasına katkı sağlamaktır.

Objective: This research was carried out to determine the knowledge level of individuals who apply to the emergency department with the suspicion of COVID-19 about this disease.Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was held in a Research and Application Hospital, located in the southern region of Turkey between May-August 2020. 259 individuals who applied to the emergency department with suspected COVID-19 were included in the study. The data were collected with the "Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Form" prepared in line with the literature. The SPSS 26.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data and the percentage distribution, mean and standard deviation values were used in descriptive statistics.Results: The majority of the participants are male (64.1%), married (54.8%), graduate and post graduate (40.2%), living in the district (55.2%), and their income is less than their expenses (48.6%). It was stated that the most common symptoms of the participants presenting to the emergency service were fatigue (75.3%), cough (51.4%), sore throat (49%), and shortness of breath (17%). It was determined that the vast majority of the participants correctly defined the ways of COVID-19 transmission, their knowledge on disease prevention methods was at a good level, but they had a lack of knowledge on some applications. Despite the lack of information on COVID-19, it can be said that they are partially paying attention to protection from potential dangers.Conclusion: In order to control the spread of the disease, the awareness of the individuals should be increased, it should be ensured that they take individual precautions for protection from the disease in a correct and effective way, and education and information activities should be increased., Amaç: Bu araştırma acil servise COVID-19 şüphesi ile başvuran bireylerin bu hastalığa yönelik bilgilerinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma; Mayıs-Ağustos 2020 tarihleri arasında Türkiye’nin güney bölgesinde yer alan bir Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastanesi’nde yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya acil servise COVID-19 şüphesiyle başvuran 259 birey dahil edilmiş olup; veriler literatür doğrultusunda hazırlanan “Koronavirüs (COVID-19) Bilgi Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 26.0 paket programından yararlanılmış ve tanımlayıcı istatistiklerde yüzde dağılımı, ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %64.1’i erkek, %54.8’i evli, %40.2’si lisans ve lisansüstü eğitim düzeyinde, %55.2’si ilçeden yaşamakta ve %48.6’sının geliri giderinden azdır. Katılımcıların acil servise en sık başvuru belirtileri %75.3 ile halsizlik, %51.4 ile öksürük, %49 ile boğaz ağrısı ve %17 ile nefes darlığı olduğu ifade edilmiştir. Katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun COVID-19 bulaşma yollarını doğru tanımladığı, hastalıktan korunma yöntemlerine ilişkin bilgilerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu ancak bazı uygulamalar konusunda bilgi eksikliklerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. COVID-19 ile ilgili bilgi eksikliklerine rağmen, potansiyel tehlikelerden korunmaya kısmen dikkat ettikleri söylenebilir.Sonuç: Hastalığın yayılımını kontrol altına alabilmek için bireylerin farkındalığının arttırılarak hastalıktan korunmaya yönelik bireysel önlemleri doğru ve etkili bir şekilde almaları sağlanmalı ve buna yönelik eğitim ve bilgilendirme faaliyetleri arttırılmalıdır.

Sağlık bakım ortamının dinamik yapısı ve hemşirelikteki bilginin artan gücü Dahili-Cerrahi hastalıklar hemşireliği uygulamalarının tanımlanması ve yorumlanması ihtiyacını doğurmuştur. Dahili-Cerrahi ortamlarda profesyonel hemşirelik uygulamalarının yürütülmesi ve standart uygulamaların geliştirilmesi amacıyla Dahili-Cerrahi Hastalıklar Hemşireliği Akademisi (The Academy Of Medical-Surgical Nurses- AMSN) tarafından “Dahili-Cerrahi Hastalıklar Hemşireliği Uygulama Kapsam ve Standartları” rehberi geliştirilmiştir. Bu standartlar “Bakım Standartları” ve “Profesyonel Performans Standartları”dır. Bu makalede rehberde yer alan kapsam ve standartlara yer verilmiştir. Kapsam ve standartların oluşturulması hemşirelik bakım uygulamalarına rehberlik sağlayarak bakımın kalitesini arttıracaktır.

Veriler ön-son test bilgi formu, Öğrencilerin Memnuniyet ve Öz-Güven Ölçeği, Simülasyon Tasarımı Ölçeği ve Eğitim Uygulamaları Anketi ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin kurs öncesi bilgi puan ortalamaları 40.36±20.24, kurs sonrası puan ortalamaları 75.39±11.46 olup istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p=.001; t=-14.78). Öğrenmede öğrenci memnuniyet puan ortalamaları 4.77±.42, özgüven puan ortalamaları ise 4.51±.54’dür. Simulasyon tasarımı toplam puan ortalamaları 4.44±.67, Eğitim Uygulamaları toplam puan ortalamaları 4.66±.56’dır. ÖZET Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı kanserli hastaların taşıdıkları port kateterlere ilişkin algı ve deneyimlerini ortaya çıkar maktır. Gereç-yöntem: Çalışma, İstanbul’da bir onkoloji kliniğine tedavi için başvuran, 16 kanser hastasıyla derinlemesine gö rüşmeler yoluyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubuna en az 6 aydır port kateteri olan meme ve kolon kanserli hastalar alınmıştır. Çalışma temaları hastaların port deneyimlerini çok boyutlu olarak kavramayı hedefleyen: (1) Portun Öyküsü, (2) Sosyal Yaşam ve Fiziksel Uyum (3) Beden İmajı ve Cinsel Yaşam (4) Tedavi Süreci ve Öneriler dinamiklerini içeren yarı yapılandı rılmış açık uçlu sorulardan oluşturulmuştur. Görüşmeler ses kayıt cihazıyla kayıt altına alınarak çözümlemesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada elde edilen önemli bulgular, port kateterin hastaların cinsel yaşamı ve beden imajını etkileyebile ceği, tedirginlik ve korku nedeniyle sosyal izolasyon yaşayabilecekleri gibi dezavantajları bulunurken, tedavide kolaylık ve hastayı tedavi sürecinde özgürleştirerek rahatlık sağladığı için avantajlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Port kateteri olan kanserli hastaların gereksinim duyduğu bakımın sürdürülmesinde var olan temel ilkelerin yanı sıra hasta deneyimlerinin ve port kateterin psikososyal boyutunun da bilinmesi, bakım kalitesinin arttırılması açısından önemlidir.

Yoğun bakım ünitesinde yatan hastalar genellikle sağlık çalışanına bağımlı ve bakıma muh-taç; dolayısıyla savunmasız konumdadır. Bu özellik, bakım verilenin korunmasını, bakım vereninise duyarlı olmasını gerektirir. Yoğun bakımın doğasından kaynaklanan olumsuz deneyim, kayıp vekısıtlamalar şefkatli bakımın gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Şefkat, acıma ile aynı manaya gel-mez: şefkat duyulan kişinin zayıf ve yeteneksiz olduğu anlamına gelmez. Şefkat, insanları acı duymaya da benzeri sıkıntılı durumlarda bir arada tutan, değerli ve önemli bir duygudur. Şefkat karma-şık olmasını öznel deneyim olmasından almaktadır ve sağlık profesyoneli olan hemşirenin “hissitarafı”dır. Şefkat, bakımın kalitesini artırabilir çünkü bakımın bireysel, uygun ve doğru verilmesinive anlaşılır sonuçlar alınmasını sağlar. Şefkat, kaliteli bakım vermek için hemşireyi motive eder vehastaları cesaretlendirir. Hasta bakımında şefkatsizlik durumu ise, hastalar ve çalışanı kötü etkiler,zarar verir. Hemşire öncelikle kendi duygusal sağlığını korumalı ve iyilik halini beraberinde getir-meli, kendine şefkat göstermelidir. Yoğun bakımda şefkate anlam katan hemşirelerdir. Acıları din-diren tedaviden çok, şefkatli bakımdır., Patients in intensive care unit are generally dependent on medical staff and they arein need of care, thus, they are in a vulnerable position. This situation necessitates that patients mustbe protected and caregivers must be sensitive. The negative experience caused by the nature of in-tensive care, losses, and restrictions reveal the necessity of sensitive care. Compassion is not syn-onymous with feeling sorry for somebody or having mercy. In addition, compassion does not meanthat compassion needed person is weak and incapable. In fact, compassion is an important and valu-able feeling that holds people together during painful times or during other similar troubled times.Complexity of compassion is based on its subjective nature, and it represents “sensitive side” of thenurse, who is a professional medical staff. Compassion may increase the quality of care because itensures giving individualized, appropriate, and accurate care, and then taking comprehensible re-sults. Compassion motivates nurses to give high quality care, and encourages patients. Absence ofcompassion in patient care influences patients and medical staff, and gives damages. Nurses, mustfirst protect their health, and bring along well-being with themselves, and show compassion tothemselves. During intensive care process, it is the nurses that give meaning to compassion, and itis the compassion that mostly removes pain, rather than treatment.

Deney grubunu Eylül 2016-Şubat 2017 tarihlerinde Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar Üniversitesi SBF Hemşirelik Bölümü Cerrahi Hastalıklar Hemşireliği Dersi alan öğrenciler (Standardize hasta=32, Manken Temelli Benzetim=32), kontrol grubunu Ekim- Kasım 2016 tarihlerinde Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Hemşirelik Fakültesi'nde benzer dersi alan öğrenciler oluşturdu (Geleneksel Yöntem=34). Veriler, Stoma Beceri Formu, Stoma Bilgi Formu deney grubunda senaryo uygulamaları sonrasında Benzetime Dayalı Öğrenme Değerlendirme Ölçeği ile toplandı. Üçüncü aşamada öğrencilerin hastane ortamındaki beceri düzeyleri incelendi. Deney Grubu verileri Ekim 2016- Şubat 2017 tarihlerinde İstanbul'da bulunan üç üniversite hastanesi ve bir eğitim araştırma hastanesinden toplanırken kontrol grubunda Şubat 2017- Nisan 2017 tarihlerinde İzmir'de bulunan bir üniversite hastanesinden toplandı. Veriler, Stomalı Birey Tanılama Formu, Stoma Beceri Formu ve Hastaya Müdahalede Kendine Güven/Yeterlilik Ölçeği ile toplandı. Bulgular Ölçek geçerlik ve güvenirlik aşamasında, toplamda 185 öğrenciden veri toplandı. Uzman görüşleri sonucu Kapsam Geçerliği İndeksi 0,890, Cronbach's Alpha 0,957 olarak saptandı. KMO örneklem yeterlilik değeri 0,930, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi tüm uyum indeksleri doğrultusunda, modelin uyumluluğu iyi derecede bulundu. Geleneksel yöntemle stoma bakımını öğrenen grupta ön ve son test stoma bilgi düzeyi puanı, diğer gruplara göre anlamlı düzeyde düşük görüldü (p=0,001; p=0,001; p0,05). Method The research consisted three stages. In the first stage, the validity and reliability of the "Simulation Based Learning Assessment Scale" were evaluated. The data were gathered from the students (n=185) who studied at the Nursing Department of the Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University between 20-30 September 2016. In the second stage, the effects of the three different methods on the knowledge and skill levels of the students were analyzed. The experimental group consisted students of the Department of Nursing of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, who took a Surgical Diseases Nursing course between September 2016 and February 2017 (Standardized Patient Group= 32, Manikin Based Simulation Group= 32). The control group consisted students of the Nursing Faculty of Dokuz Eylül University, who took a similar course between October 2016 and November 2016 (Traditional Method=34). The data were collected with the Stoma Skill Form, Stoma Information Form and Simulation Based Learning Assessment Scale after the scenario applications in the experiment group. In the third stage, the skill levels of the students in the patient care environment were analyzed. The data were collected from three university hospitals an one research hospital in Istanbul between October 2016 and February 2017 for the Experimental Group and from an university hospital in İzmir between February 2017 and April 2017 for the Control Group. The data were collected with the Diagnosis Form for the Individuals with Stoma, the Stoma Skill Form and the Patient Intervention SelfConfidence/ Competence Scale. Results In the scale validity and reliability stage, the data were collected from 185 students in total. As a result of expert opinions, the Content Validity Index was found as 0.89, while Cronbach's Alpha was found as 0.957. KMO sampling adequacy value was 0.930, confirmatory factor analysis showed a good agreement with model in all concordance indexes. Pre and post-test stoma knowledge level scores were found to be significantly lower compared to the other groups (p=0.001, p=0.001, p0.05). Simulation Based Learning Assessment Scales "Communication" subscale scores of the standardized patient group was significantly higher compared to manikin based simulation group (p=0.048, p0.05) while the conventional method group was found to be significantly lower (p=0.001, p=0.001, p0.05). Dünyada ve ülkemizde önemli bir sağlık sorunu olan kanser, önde gelen ölüm nedenleri arasında yer almakta, bireyi ve ailesini biyopsikososyal açıdan etkilemektedir. Tütün kullanımı, kronik enfeksiyonlar, endojen hormonlar, güneşışığı ve ultraviyole radyasyon, mesleki maruziyet, genetik duyarlılık gibi faktörler kanser gelişimine zemin hazırlamaktadır. Özellikle son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalarda hem obezitenin hem de diyabetin artmış kanser riski ile ilişkili olduğu; sıklıkla meme, endometrium, böbrek, mesane ve gastrointestinal sistem kanserleri gibi pek çok kanser türü ile güçlü ilişkisi bulunduğu belirtilmektedir. Bu derlemede, obezite ve diyabetin kanser açısından bağımsız bir risk faktörü olup olmadığı güncel literatür bilgileri doğrultusunda ele alınmıştır., The cancer has a major health problem in the world and in our country. It is cancer is among the leading causes of death which the biopsychosocial perspective affects individuals and families. Tobacco use, chronic infections, endogenous hormones, sunlight and ultraviolet radiation, occupational exposure, such as genetic susceptibility factors provide the basis for the development of cancer. In studies conducted in recent years, both in obesity and diabetes is associated with an increased risk of cancer; often breast, endometrium, kidney, bladder and gastrointestinal tract cancers and many other types of cancer has been suggested that the strong relationship with. In this review, obesity and diabetes is an independent risk factor for cancer that is dealt with in accordance with the current literature.

Bu çalışmada; Adi Porsuk (Taxus baccata L.) öz ve diri odun ile kabuğunun kimyasal bileşimleri standart metodlarla belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, ortalama olarak holoselüloz miktarı; öz odunda %57.88, diri odunda %67.40, kabukta %52. 19, lignin miktarı; öz odunda %27.67, diri odunda %30.45, kabukta %25.97, selüloz miktarı; öz odunda %45.38, diri odunda %52.78, kabukta %28.50, alfa selüloz miktarı; öz odunda %36.89, diri odunda %43.31 oranlarında, sıcak su çözünürlüğü; öz odununda %12.69, diri odunda %2.86, kabukta %27.41, soğuk su çözünürlüğü; öz odunda %8.34, diri odunda %1.83, kabukta %23.43, %1'lik NaOH çözünürlüğü; öz odunda %22.21, diri odunda %11.02, kabukta %49.24, alkol-benzen çözünürlüğü; öz odunda %15.30, diri odunda %2.59, kabukta %22.38 oranlarında bulunmuştur. According to the results obtained, average values of chemical compositions are calculated as follows: Holocellulose content; 57.88% in hearth wood, 67.40% in sap wood, 52.19% in bark, lignin content; 27.67% in hearth wood, 30.45% in sap wood, 25.97% in bark, cellulose content; 45.38% in hearth wood, 52.78% in sap wood, 28.50% in bark, a-cellulose content; 36.89% in hearth wood, 43.31% in sap wood. Besides these chemical contents obtained, some solubility characteristics were investigated. According to the results obtained, the solubility characreristics are as follows: Solubility in hot water content; 12.69% in hearth wood, 2.86% in sap wood, 27.41% in bark, solubility in cold water content; 8.34% in hearth wood, 1.83% in sap wood, 23.43% in bark, solubility in 1% NaOH content; 22.21% in hearth wood, 11.02% in sap wood, 49.24% in bark, solubility in alcohol-benzene content; 15.30% in hearth wood, 2.59% in sap wood, 22.38% in bark. Objective: Preoperative hair removal is one of the important steps of surgery process. This study aims to anaiyze the prior studies about preoperative hair removal, and plans to provide concrete data to researchers.Methods: Turkish and English studies related to preoperative hair removal, which were done in the last 10 years and accessible in full text form, are included in the examination. Studies wereselected through searching the databases o f "Pubmed", "EBSCO", "Ovid", and "Science Direct" by using the keyvvords of "hair removal", "preoperative operation", and "surgicalsite infection."Results: İn this systematic study, 8 studies, which were published between 2003 and 2013, were reached; 4 ofthem are systematic examination, one ofthem is randomized controlled study, one of them is randomized cohort, one of them is experimental study, and one of them is quasiexperimental study.Conclusion: İn the cases of inappropriate preoperative hair removal, surgical site infection risk certainiy increases. Therefore, hairs in the surgical site shouldn't be removed or deaned. If preoperative hair removal is necessary, it must be done before the operation, and depilatories, scissors, and electronic shavers must be used instead of using razor blades or bistoury or scalpel. Well-formulated randomized controlled studies with big samples are needed to show the effects of time, space, and methods used in preoperative hair removal on surgical site infection development, Amaç: Cerrahi öncesi tüy temizliği cerrahi sürecin önemli adımlarından biridir. Araştırma, cerrahi öncesi tüy temizliğine yönelik yapılan çalışmaları analiz etmek ve araştırmacılara somut veri sunmak amacıyla planlanmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Cerrahi öncesi tüy temizliğine ilişkin son on yılda yayınlanmış 2003Aralık 2013 , Türkçe ya da İngilizce tam metnine ulaşılabilen çalışmalar sistematik inceleme kapsamına alınmıştır. Çalışmalar "hair removal", "perioperative preparation", "surgical site infection" anahtar kelimeleri ile; "Pubmed", "EBSCO", "Ovid", "Science Direct" veri tabanı taranarak seçilmiştir.Bulgular ve Sonuç: Bu sistematik incelemede, 2003-2013 yılları arasında yayınlanan 8 çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır; 4 sistematik inceleme, bir randomize kontrollü çalışma, bir randomize kohort, bir deneysel ve bir yarı deneysel çalışma araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak uygun şekilde yapılmayan tüy temizliğinde cerrahi alan enfeksiyon oranı kesin olarak artmaktadır. Bu nedenle, ameliyat bölgesindeki tüyler temizlenmemen, tüy temizliği mutlaka gerekli ise ameliyattan hemen önce yapılmalı ve jilet ya da bistüri yerine, makas, elektrikli tıraş makinesi veya tüy dökücü kremler kullanılmalıdır. Cerrahi öncesi tüy temizliğinde kullanılan yöntemlerin, zamanın ve mekanın cerrahi alan enfeksiyonu gelişimine etkisini gösteren iyi kurgulanmış, örneklem sayısı büyük, randomize kontrollü çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır

Operating room fires are rare, however it may cause serious complications during surgical procedures. Some of the negative results that may have occured in operating room fires are, large or little burns, inhalation injuries, infections, deterioration in shape and death. The guide of "Practice Advisory For The Prevention and Management of Fires in Operating Rooms" was published by The American Society of Anesthesiologists' in 2008. The recommendations on prevention of operating rooms from fire and their management, such as, education, fire drill in operating rooms, preparation, prevention of operating room fires and management of fires in operating rooms, are discussed and the recommendations for the implementation are shared. Objective: The aim of this study is to identify cancer patients’ experiences related to port catheters. Methods: This study was done with 16 patients, who applied to the oncology clinic for treatment, by using in-depth interview technique. The study group consists of colon cancer and breast cancer patients having port catheters for at least six months. The themes of the study are comprised of four open-ended questions, which aimed to comprehend the patients’ port experiences in a multidimensional way. These questions are based on 1 story of the port, 2 social life and physical adaptation, 3 sexual life and body image, and 4 treatment process and dynamic recommendations related to living with the port. Results: The important findings obtained from the study are twofold. First, the port catheter has disadvantages, such as influencing patients’ sexual lives and body images, and leading to social isolation through by creating anxiety and fear. Second, the port catheter has also advantages, such as providing convenience to patients during the treatment, and giving comfort to them during the treatment by making them free. Conclusions: One of the important principles related to port catheter that it provides a reliable care to the patients. In this direction, in addition to the fundamental principles related to the maintenance of the care needed by the cancer patients with port, knowing the psychosocial aspect of the port and patient experiences is very important to increase the quality of the care given, Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı kanserli hastaların taşıdıkları port kateterlere ilişkin algı ve deneyimlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır.Gereç-yöntem: Çalışma, İstanbul’da bir onkoloji kliniğine tedavi için başvuran, 16 kanser hastasıyla derinlemesine görüşmeler yoluyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubuna en az 6 aydır port kateteri olan meme ve kolon kanserli hastalar alınmıştır. Çalışma temaları hastaların port deneyimlerini çok boyutlu olarak kavramayı hedefleyen: 1 Portun Öyküsü, 2 Sosyal Yaşam ve Fiziksel Uyum 3 Beden İmajı ve Cinsel Yaşam 4 Tedavi Süreci ve Öneriler dinamiklerini içeren yarı yapılandırılmış açık uçlu sorulardan oluşturulmuştur. Görüşmeler ses kayıt cihazıyla kayıt altına alınarak çözümlemesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada elde edilen önemli bulgular, port kateterin hastaların cinsel yaşamı ve beden imajını etkileyebileceği, tedirginlik ve korku nedeniyle sosyal izolasyon yaşayabilecekleri gibi dezavantajları bulunurken, tedavide kolaylık ve hastayı tedavi sürecinde özgürleştirerek rahatlık sağladığı için avantajlı olduğu belirlenmiştir.Sonuç: Port kateteri olan kanserli hastaların gereksinim duyduğu bakımın sürdürülmesinde var olan temel ilkelerin yanı sıra hasta deneyimlerinin ve port kateterin psikososyal boyutunun da bilinmesi, bakım kalitesinin arttırılması açısından önemlidir

Pulmonary alveolar proteinozis PAP is rare lung disease which is characterized as accumulation of lipoproteinoizis in the alveoli. This disease was first known in 1958. Around 500 cases have been reported in the literature. The most common symptoms are difficulty breathing dsypnea , fatigue and dry coughs. The disease has three forms; congenital, secondary and idiopatic unknown origin . The most common form is seen in idiopathic, more than 90%. The mortality rate is around 10% Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis is within the chronic disease group and can lead to changes in the activities of daily living. During treatment and follow-up, nursing practice and patient education are very important. Professional team unity in the treatment and care of diseases requiring years-long treatment is very important. Treatment, care and education, which are the roles of the nurse, play an important role in this disease. In this respect, this case is important for the literature, Pulmoner alveoler proteinozis PAP , alveollerde lipoproteinoz materyal birikimi ile karakterize nadir görülen bir akciğer hastalığıdır. Hastalık ilk olarak 1958’de tanımlanmıştır. Literatüre 500 civarında olgu bildirilmiştir. En sık rastlanan semptomlar nefes darlığı, yorgunluk hissi ve kuru öksürüktür. Hastalığın konjenital, sekonder ve idiyopatik olmak üzere üç formu vardır. En sık %90 oranla idiyopatik formu görülmektedir. Hastalığın mortalitesi %10 civarındadır. Kronik bir hastalık grubuna giren pulmoner alveoler proteinozis, kişinin günlük yaşam aktivitelerinde değişikliği yol açabilmektedir. Takip ve tedavisi sırasında hemşirelik bakım uygulamaları ve hasta eğitimi önemli yer tutmaktadır. Hastalık uzun yıllar tedavi gerektirdiğinden tedavi ve bakımda profesyonel ekip birlikteliği önemli yer tutmaktadır. Hemşirenin rolleri olan tedavi, bakım ve eğitim verme bu hastalıkta önemli bir yer tutar. Bu açıdan bu vaka literatür için önemlidir
