This study reported a case of CMC in a child with clinical manifestations of oral mucosal leukoplakia and erythema and crust-like thick scabs on the skin of the face and upper limbs. Microscopic fungal examination revealed a large amount of pseudohyphae, and the fungal culture indicated Candida albicans. A drug sensitivity test indicated that it was sensitive to itraconazole and nystatin. Laboratory tests did not show significant immunodeficiency or endocrine abnormalities, and gene sequencing did not identify DNA gene mutations in the coiled-coil domain (CCD) or the DNA-binding domain (DBD) of signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1). The skin lesions subsided after oral administration of itraconazole but relapsed 6 months later, and hypoparathyroidism occurred 1 year later. Patients with repeated superficial fungal infection should be alert to the possibility of CMC. CMC has numerous complications and a poor prognosis that requires the attention of clinicians. In this case, STAT1 mutation was not found, and parathyroid dysfunction was rare, providing reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of CMC.Keywords: chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, children, Candida albicans, itraconazole, hypoparathyroidism

In this paper, the ultrasonic-assisted extraction process of flavonoid compounds from leaves of Amorpha fruticosa is optimized. In single factor experiments, solid/liquid ratios, ultrasonic power, ethanol concentrations and extraction cycles were experimental factors. Box–Behnken central composite design and RSM analyzed the effects of the four factors on the yield of total flavonoids. The optimal extraction parameters were solid/liquid ratio 1:50 g/mL, ultrasonic power 316 W, ethanol concentration 50%, 4 extraction cycles. In the optimized condition, the estimated value of the regression model was 66.6456 mg/g while the measured value was 66.4329 mg/g.

Gongylonema infection is a zoonotic disease occurring throughout the world and is mainly caused by consumption of contaminated water and raw food. Adult Gongylonema worms can exist as parasites in the human body for up to 10 years and cause symptoms of local irritation in the oral cavity, esophagus, and pharynx. Herein, we report a rare case in which live Gongylonema pulchrum was detected and extracted from the oral cavity of a woman. The pathogen was confirmed as G. pulchrum on the basis of microscopic examination and morphologic analysis. The patient's symptoms resolved immediately after surgical removal of the parasite, and the patient has been advised not to drink water that has not been boiled and to avoid consuming unwashed raw vegetables.

With the development of pipeline construction, the additional stress and strain becomes the key factor to induce the damage for oil and gas pipeline. The in-line inspection of pipeline bending strain which is based on high-end tactical-grade inertial measurement unit has become routine practice for the oil and gas pipelines over recent years. However, these accurate inertial measurement units are large size and high cost limit to use in small diameter pipelines of bending strain inspection. Microelectromechanical systems–based inertial navigation has been applied to mapping the centerline of the small size pipeline, and the accurate trajectory and attitude information become key factors to calculate the bending strain of pipelines. This article proposed a method not only to calculate the pipeline bending strain but also to improve the accuracy for the bending strain based on the wavelet analysis. Tests show that this method can be effectively used in the calculation and optimization of the bending strain, and it will increase the accuracy to within 19.1% of the actual bending strain.

Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI) is a common pathological and physiological phenomenon. Tetramethylpyrazine is the extract of the traditional Chinese medicine Chuanxiong, which can exert protective effects on MIRI in multiple ways. This paper reviewed the current research progress and evidence about the cardiovascular effects of tetramethylpyrazine, which included protecting mitochondria and improving energy metabolism, scavenging oxygen free radicals (OFRs) to inhibit lipid peroxidation, attenuating calcium (Ca2+) overload and maintaining Ca2+ homeostasis in cells, inhibiting apoptosis and protecting myocardial cells, interfering with the inflammatory reaction and mitigating cell injury, interfering with cell signaling pathways, and improving function of endothelial cells and protecting myocardial cells. However, further rigorously designed randomized controlled trials are warranted.

It is difficult to monitor electronic systems' early faults, so a Hidden Semi-Markov Model (HSMM) was introduced in order to solve the problem, and the electronic systems state monitor model based on HSMM was designed. The faint changes of early faults were replaced by the values of likelihood which changed markedly to estimate the healthy condition of the electronic systems, and the application examples indicated that the effect was good.

To complete the parameters optimization of Support Vector Machine, the QPSO algorithm is improved, the method based on simulated Annealing and Improved QPSO is put forward, and UCI simulation is used to improve the classify precision of the Support Vector Machine.

With being unable to bear belongings losing, personnel casualty and serious harm brought by fault occurring in systems, application of prognostic and health management/monitoring (PHM) technology is more and more abroad. This paper introduced the grey model, and used the history data of a certain aerial defence missile launch and control equipment voltage controlled oscillator circuit check integrator input signal as study data to validate that it was viable the grey model was used to forecast fault. And its precision was very good.

Based on the principle of IVI, IVI-MSS and IVI-Signal, this paper has proposed a conception of function interface based on COM technology, and introduced its designing and model structure. Networked ATS was designed and implemented based on function interface and the design thinking of COM and module.

This paper analyzed change of expense caused by PHM technology, established an economy benefit model, and applied this model to evaluate economy benefit brought by PHM technology to systems quantificationally from the goal of reducing life cycle cost and logistical support cost.
