The structural feature shown on a remote sensing image is a synthetic result of combination of the deformations produced during the entire geological history of an area. Therefore, the respective tectonic stress field of each of the different stages in the complex deformation of an area can be reconstructed in three steps: (1) geological structures formed at different times are distinguished in remote sensing image interpretation; (2) structural deformation fields at different stages are determined by analyzing relationships between microstructures (joints and fractures) and the related structures (folds and faults); and (3) tectonic stress fields at different stages are respectively recovered through a study of the features of structural deformation fields in different periods. Circular structures and related circlular and radial joints are correlated in space to concealed structural rises. The authors propose a new method for establishing a natural model of the concealed structural rises and calculating the tectonic stress field by using quantitative data of the remote sensing information of circular structures and related linear structures.

In this article it is shown that the Land Law Enforcement and Supervision Management System of Chengdu has been established based on the mode of platform thought and the strategy of “centralized management and distributed application". It is realized via integrating the mobile GIS technology, CDMA wireless communication, network real-time differential positioning service, the workflow platform and WebService, and so on. In this system, land inspectors use the portable PDA terminal to collect accurate field data, and then to transfer it to the data center in real-time via CDMA wireless communication. Finally all the transferred data is saved, processed and managed in database based on business model. The foregoing process, therefore, constitutes a platform for the dynamic inspection of land resource, which could be used for the land law enforcement and inspection, the interception and prevention of illegal land use, the collection of accurate field data in real-time, mobile office, the investigation of illegal cases and the punishment for those who shall be held accountable, and the transfer of cases. The platform comprises four parts: the Satellite Positioning Service System Based on the Virtual Reference Station, the GPS-PDA Dynamic Inspection and Data Acquisition System, the 3-level Network Management System for Chengdu Land Law Enforcement and Supervision, and the Digitalized Monitoring Center for Chengdu Land Law Enforcement.

According to the functions and features of GIS, applying the theory and methods of urban disaster emergency management, analyzing the design idea and technical key point of urban disaster emergency management information system, the paper proposes system architecture and the content and method of spatial data organization. This scheme is capable of assisting urban disaster emergency management, disaster documentation provision and Aid in Decision Making (ADM), and improving the ability of disaster relief and resistant of government.

Basing on multi-source remote sensing data, statistical data, supporting of GIS technology, this study carried out the research on comprehensive evaluation of the ecological environment quality of resource-based city - Panzhihua City from five aspects which is biological abundance, vegetation coverage, water density, land degradation and pollution load. The results show that the quality of the overall situation of the ecological environment in Panzhihua City was divided into 5 categories from good to bad, and the area accounting for the city area respectively is 6.58%, 29.44%, 37.04%, 22.65% and 4.29%. The ecological environment situation Along the Jinsha River and Anning River is significantly worse than other regions, and more near from the river, the poorer the quality of the ecological environment. In order to improve the ecological environment of the study area, ecological reconstruction of mining zone region should be strengthened, clean production process should be through every aspect of mineral development, Returning farmland to forest projects should be continue to actively and steadily push forward, and soil erosion should be control maximally.

International audience; In this paper, under the RS, GIS and GPS technology, data fusion and orthophotomaps of multi-temporal Landsat TM, SPOT, ERS SAR and RADARSAT images are made. Furthermore a lot of information on geology and structural deformation is extracted. An orthophotomap is a new type of map accurately corrected for geometry and a composite one with a simplified topographic map. In this study, the authors conduct the data fusion of Landsat TM, SPOT and ERS SAR images. Then, utilizing RSthoMapper vl. 0 software explored by themselves, they make three kinds of orthophotomaps, that is 1 : 250 000 map of Kaixian, 1 : 100 000 map of Baishahe and 1 : 50 000 map of Yunyang respectively. The last one is an orthophotomap of fusion image of TM453 and SPOT panchromatic band with 10 m ground resolution, and DEM used in the rectification comes from SPOT stereopairs. Applying the 1 : 250 000 orthophotomap of Kaixian and the theory and method of phase-separation analysis of remote sensing information field, geological and structural features are systematically interpreted and the linear and circular structures are quantitatively analyzed. With a synthesizing analysis of the combined folds, faults and related major joint systems, four periods of structural deformation and the resulted deformation fields are determined. As a result, four tectonic stress fields produced successively during the Yanshanian to Himalayan period are recovered. Through the ARSIS fusion of the Landsat TM 4,5,3 images and SPOT P images, lots of best image results with a high spatial resolution of 10 m and affluent colors are obtained. Many 3-D viewing maps of remote sensing images of the landform relief with a high resolution and projected from different directions are established. With these maps, quantitative analysis as drawing a section of landform and detecting DEM of some objects can be done directly and rapidly.
