An objective of the Children's Oncology Group AREN0534 Study was to improve the survival of patients with bilateral Wilms tumors (BWT) by using preoperative chemotherapy of limited duration and tailoring postoperative therapy based on histopathologic response. The authors report outcomes based on postoperative histopathologic responses.Patients with BWT received treatment with vincristine, dactinomycin, and doxorubicin for 6 or 12 weeks followed by surgery. Postoperative therapy was prescribed based on the highest risk tumor according to the International Society of Pediatric Oncology classification and the Children's Oncology Group staging system.Analyses were performed on data from 180 evaluable children. The 4-year event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) rates were 81% (95% CI, 74%-87%) and 95% (95% CI, 91%-99%), respectively. Seven patients who had completely necrotic tumors had a 4-year EFS rate of 100%. Of 118 patients who had tumors with intermediate-risk histopathology, the 4-year EFS and OS rates were 82% (95% CI, 74%-90%) and 97% (95% CI, 94%-100%), respectively. Fourteen patients who had blastemal-type tumors had 4-year EFS and OS rates of 79% (95% CI, 56%-100%) and 93% (95% CI, 79%-100%), respectively. Eighteen patients who had diffuse anaplasia had 4-year EFS and OS rates of 61% (95% CI, 35%-88%) and 72% (95% CI, 47%-97%), respectively; and the 4-year EFS and OS rates of 7 patients who had focal anaplasia were 71% (95% CI, 38%-100%) and 100%, respectively. There was no difference in the outcomes of patients who had different histopathologic subtypes within the intermediate-risk group (P = .54).A risk-adapted treatment approach for BWT results in excellent outcomes. This approach was not successful in improving the outcome of patients who had diffuse anaplasia.

Motivation Association testing on genome-wide association studies (GWAS) data is commonly performed under a single (mostly additive) genetic model framework. However, the underlying true genetic mechanisms are often unknown in practice for most complex traits. When the employed inheritance model deviates from the underlying model, statistical power may be reduced. To overcome this challenge, an integrative association test that directly infers the underlying genetic model from GWAS data has previously been proposed for single-SNP analysis. Results In this article, we propose a Cauchy combination Genetic Model-based association test (CauchyGM) under a generalized linear model framework for SNP-set level analysis. CauchyGM does not require prior knowledge on the underlying inheritance pattern of each SNP. It performs a score test that first estimates an individual P-value of each SNP in an SNP-set with both minor allele frequency (MAF) > 1% and three genotypes and further aggregates the rest SNPs using SKAT. CauchyGM then combines the correlated P-values across multiple SNPs and different genetic models within the set using Cauchy Combination Test. To further accommodate both sparse and dense signal patterns, we also propose an omnibus association test (CauchyGM-O) by combining CauchyGM with SKAT and the burden test. Our extensive simulations show that both CauchyGM and CauchyGM-O maintain the type I error well at the genome-wide significance level and provide substantial power improvement compared to existing methods. We apply our methods to a pharmacogenomic GWAS data from a large cardiovascular randomized clinical trial. Both CauchyGM and CauchyGM-O identify several novel genome-wide significant genes. To the authors' knowledge, AREN0321 is the first prospective clinical study of pediatric and adolescent renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Goals of the study included establishing epidemiological, treatment, and outcome data and confirming that patients with completely resected pediatric RCC, including lymph node-positive disease (N1), have a favorable prognosis without adjuvant therapy.From 2006 to 2012, patients aged30 years with centrally reviewed pathology of RCC were enrolled prospectively.A total of 68 patients were enrolled (39 of whom were male; median age of 13 years [range, 0.17-22.1 years]). Stage was classified according to the American Joint Committee on Cancer TNM stage seventh edition as stage I in 26 patients, stage II in 7 patients, stage III in 26 patients, and stage IV in 8 patients, and was not available in 1 patient. Sixty patients underwent resection of all known sites of disease, including 2 patients with stage IV disease. Surgery included radical nephrectomy (53 patients [81.5%]), partial nephrectomy (12 patients [18.5%]), and unknown (3 patients [4.4%]). Histology was TFE-associated RCC (translocation-type RCC; tRCC) in 40 patients, RCC not otherwise specified and/or other in 13 patients, papillary RCC in 9 patients, and renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) in 6 patients. Lymph node status was N0 in 21 patients, N1 in 21 patients (tRCC in 15 patients, RMC in 3 patients, papillary RCC in 2 patients, and not otherwise specified and/or other in 1 patient), and Nx in 26 patients. The 4-year event-free survival and overall survival rates were 80.2% (95% CI, 69.6%-90.9%) and 84.8% (95% CI, 75.2%-94.5%), respectively, overall and 87.5% (95% CI, 68.3%-100%) and 87.1% (95% CI, 67.6%-100%), respectively, for the 16 patients with N1M0 disease. Among patients presenting with metastases, 2 of 8 patients (2 of 5 patients with RMC) were alive (1 with disease) at the time of last follow-up, including 1 patient who was lost to follow-up (succinate dehydrogenase deficiency). The predominant RCC subtypes associated with mortality were tRCC and RMC.Favorable short-term outcomes can be achieved without adjuvant therapy in children and adolescents with completely resected RCC, independent of lymph node status. A prospective study of patients with tRCC and RMC with M1 or recurrent disease is needed to optimize treatment.

PURPOSE AREN0321 evaluated the activity of vincristine and irinotecan (VI) in patients with newly diagnosed diffuse anaplastic Wilms tumor (DAWT) and whether a regimen containing carboplatin (regimen UH1) in addition to regimen I agents used in the National Wilms Tumor Study 5 (NWTS-5; vincristine, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, and etoposide plus radiotherapy) would improve patient outcomes. PATIENTS AND METHODS Patients with stage II to IV DAWT without measurable disease received regimen UH1. Patients with stage IV measurable disease were eligible to receive VI (vincristine, 1.5 mg/m2 per day intravenously on days 1 and 8; irinotecan, 20 mg/m2 per day intravenously on days 1-5 and 8-12 of a 21-day cycle) in an upfront window; those with complete (CR) or partial response (PR) had VI incorporated into regimen UH1 (regimen UH2). The study was designed to detect improvement in outcomes of patients with stage II to IV DAWT compared with historical controls treated with regimen I. RESULTS Sixty-six eligible patients were enrolled. Of 14 patients with stage IV measurable disease who received VI, 11 (79%) achieved CR (n = 1) or PR (n = 10) after 2 cycles. Doses of doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, and etoposide were reduced midstudy because of nonhematologic toxicity. Four patients (6%) died as a result of toxicity. Four-year event-free survival, relapse-free survival, and overall survival rates were 67.7% (95% CI, 55.9% to 79.4%), 72.9% (95% CI, 61.5% to 84.4%), and 73.7% (95% CI, 62.7% to 84.8%), respectively, compared with 57.5% (95% CI, 47.6% to 67.4%; P = .26), 57.5% (95% CI, 47.6% to 67.4%; P = .048), and 59.2% (95% CI, 49.4% to 69.0%; P = .08), respectively, in NWTS-5. CONCLUSION VI produced a high response rate in patients with metastatic DAWT. AREN0321 treatment seemed to improve outcomes for patients with stage II to IV DAWT compared with NWTS-5, but with increased toxicity. The UH2 regimen warrants further investigation with modifications to reduce toxicity.

Genetic association studies are popular for identifying genetic variants, such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), that are associated with complex traits. Statistical tests are commonly performed one SNP at a time with an assumed mode of inheritance such as recessive, additive, or dominant genetic model. Such analysis can result in inadequate power when the employed model deviates from the underlying true genetic model. We propose an integrative association test procedure under a generalized linear model framework to flexibly model the data from the above three common genetic models and beyond. A computationally efficient resampling procedure is adopted to estimate the null distribution of the proposed test statistic. Simulation results show that our methods maintain the Type I error rate irrespective of the existence of confounding covariates and achieve adequate power compared to the methods with the true genetic model. The new methods are applied to two genetic studies on the resistance of severe malaria and sarcoidosis.

Objectives This study aims to characterize the spillover effects of selected mental health disorders (episodic mood disorder (EMD), anxiety, substance use disorder (SUD), schizophrenia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dementia) on family members’ health-related quality of life and to compare the magnitude of spillover effects across these types. Methods Using the 2000–2015 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, households having individuals with mental health disorders were identified. The SF-12 and EQ-5D surveys were used to acquire utility and health status scores for household members. The outcomes in households including an individual with a mental health disorder were compared to those of the control group (absence of individuals with mental health disorders in the household). We also compared a total of 15 pairs of diseases based on the SF-6D scores. A beta generalized estimating equation model was employed. Results Average scores of utility and health status among individuals living with a member with a mental health disorder in the household were statistically lower than those of the control group and; for the SF-6D, met the minimally important difference for SUD, schizophrenia, and dementia. Differences in the SF-6D scores were statistically significant for 5 pairs of the mental health disorders: EMD–anxiety, EMD–ADHD, dementia–anxiety, dementia–ADHD, and schizophrenia–ADHD. Conclusions This study provides evidence of family spillover effects in mental illness using both utility and health status measures from a US representative sample. Integrating this evidence into clinical and policy decision making as well as economic evaluations would allow for a more comprehensive valuation of the societal benefits of mental and behavioral health interventions.

Background In the fifth National Wilms Tumor Study (NWTS-5), the 4-year event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) estimates for 29 patients with stage I focal (n = 10) or diffuse (n = 19) anaplastic Wilms' tumour (AWT) treated with vincristine and dactinomycin without flank radiation were 69.5% and 82.6%, respectively. The Children's Oncology Group AREN0321 study evaluated whether adding doxorubicin and flank radiation improves survival for these patients. Patients and methods Tumour histology and stage were confirmed by real-time central pathology, surgery and radiology review. The patients received 25 weeks of vincristine, dactinomycin and doxorubicin (cumulative dose 150 mg/m2) with flank radiation (1080 cGy). We retrospectively analysed outcomes of all patients with stage I AWT enrolled in NWTSs 1–5 and AREN0321 with respect to treatment regimens. Results Eighteen patients with stage I AWT (8 focal and 10 diffuse) were enrolled on AREN0321. With a median follow-up of 4.6 years, the 4-year EFS and OS were 100%. One patient with diffuse AWT had pulmonary relapse 4.12 years after diagnosis. In the 112 patients with stage I AWT treated in NWTSs 1–5 and AREN0321, the EFS was significantly improved with doxorubicin treatment (p = 0.01; 4-year EFS: 97.2% [95% confidence interval {CI}: 91.3–100] vs. 77.5% [95% CI: 67.6–87.4]) but not by flank radiation (p = 0.15). Conclusions Treatment of stage I AWT with vincristine, dactinomycin, doxorubicin and flank radiation in AREN0321 yielded excellent survival outcomes. Retrospective analysis of AREN0321 and NWTS patients suggests that doxorubicin had a greater contribution to the excellent outcomes than radiation.

A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry assay was developed and qualified for the multiplexed quantitation of a small molecule stimulator of soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) and its target engagement biomarker, 3′,5′-cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), in ocular tissues and plasma from a single surrogate matrix calibration curve. A surrogate matrix approach was used in this assay due to the limited quantities of blank ocular matrices in a discovery research setting. After optimization, the assay showed high accuracy, precision, and recovery as well as parallelism between the surrogate matrix and the biological matrices (rabbit plasma, vitreous, and retina–choroid). This assay provided pharmacokinetic and target engagement data after intravitreal administration of the sGC stimulator. The nitric oxide-sGC-cGMP pathway is a potential target to address glaucoma. Increasing sGC-mediated production of cGMP could improve aqueous humor outflow and ocular blood flow. The sGC stimulator showed dose-dependent exposure in rabbit vitreous, retina–choroid, and plasma. The cGMP exhibited a delayed yet sustained increase in vitreous humor but not retina–choroid. Multiplexed measurement of both pharmacokinetic and target engagement analytes reduced animal usage and provided improved context for interpreting PK and PD relationships.

Importance The value of precise anatomic restoration for distal radius fractures (DRFs) in older adults has been debated for many decades, with conflicting results in the literature. In light of the growing population of adults aged 60 years and older, both fracture incidence and associated treatment costs are expected to increase. Objective To determine the association between radiographic measures of reduction and patient outcomes after DRF in older patients. Design, Setting, and Participants Data were collected from the Wrist and Radius Injury Surgical Trial (WRIST), a multicenter randomized clinical trial of DRF treatments for adults aged 60 years and older (enrollment from April 10, 2012, to December 31, 2016, with a 2-year follow-up). Data analysis was performed from January 3, 2019, to August 19, 2019. WRIST participants who completed 12-month assessments were included in the study. According to the biomechanical principle of alignment, 2-phase multivariable regression models were adopted to assess the association between radiographic measures of reduction and functional and patient-reported outcomes 12 months following treatment. Interventions Participants were randomized to receive volar locking plate, percutaneous pinning, or external fixation. Those who opted for nonoperative treatment received casts. Main Outcomes and Measures Hand grip strength, wrist arc of motion, radial deviation, ulnar deviation, the Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire (MHQ) total score, MHQ function score, and MHQ activities of daily living score were measured at 12 months following treatment. Results Data from 166 WRIST participants (144 [86.7%] women; mean [SD] age, 70.9 [8.9] years) found that only 2 of the 84 correlation coefficients calculated were statistically significant. For patients aged 70 years or older, every degree increase in radial inclination away from normal (22°) grip strength in the injured hand was 1.1 kg weaker than the uninjured hand (95% CI, 0.38-1.76;P = .004) and each millimeter increase toward normal (0 mm) in ulnar variance was associated with a 10.4-point improvement in MHQ ADL score (95% CI, −16.84 to −3.86;P = .003). However, neither of these radiographic parameters appeared to be associated with MHQ total or function scores. Conclusions and Relevance The study results suggest that precise restoration of wrist anatomy is not associated with better patient outcomes for older adults with DRF 12 months following treatment. Surgeons can consider this evidence to improve quality of care by prioritizing patient preferences and efficient use of resources over achieving exact realignment. Stage I epithelial-predominant favorable-histology Wilms tumors (EFHWTs) have long been suspected to have an excellent outcome. This study investigates the clinical and pathologic features of patients with stage I EFHWTs to better evaluate the potential for a reduction of chemotherapy and its associated toxicity.All patients registered in the Children's Oncology Group (COG) AREN03B2 study between 2006 and 2017 with stage I EFHWTs were identified. EFHWTs were defined as tumors with at least 66% epithelial differentiation, regardless of the degree of differentiation. Clinical information was abstracted from COG records. Event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) were calculated and compared between groups based on age and therapy.The 4-year EFS rate was 96.2% (95% confidence interval, 92%-100%), and the OS rate was 100%; EFS and OS did not statistically significantly differ with the age at diagnosis (48 vs ≥48 months; P = .37) or treatment (EE4A vs observation only; P = .55). Six events were reported. Three patients developed contralateral tumors and did not otherwise relapse; none of these had nephrogenic rests or a recognized predisposition syndrome. Three patients developed metastatic recurrence; all 3 had received EE4A as their primary therapy after nephrectomy.These findings demonstrate an excellent outcome for stage I EFHWTs with95% EFS and OS. These data support the utility of investigating the treatment of stage I EFHWTs with observation alone after nephrectomy.

PURPOSE In National Wilms Tumor Study 5 (NWTS-5), tumor-specific combined loss of heterozygosity of chromosomes 1p and 16q (LOH1p/16q) was associated with adverse outcomes in patients with favorable histology Wilms tumor. The AREN0533/AREN0532 studies assessed whether augmenting therapy improved event-free survival (EFS) for these patients. Patients with stage I/II disease received regimen DD4A (vincristine, dactinomycin and doxorubicin) but no radiation therapy. Patients with stage III/IV disease received regimen M (vincristine, dactinomycin, and doxorubicin alternating with cyclophosphamide and etoposide) and radiation therapy. METHODS Patients were enrolled through the AREN03B2 Biology study between October 2006 and October 2013; all underwent central review of pathology, surgical reports, and imaging. Tumors were evaluated for LOH1p/16q by microsatellite testing. EFS and overall survival were compared using the log-rank test between NWTS-5 and current studies. RESULTS LOH1p/16q was detected in 49 of 1,147 evaluable patients with stage I/II disease (4.27%) enrolled in AREN03B2; 32 enrolled in AREN0532. LOH1p/16q was detected in 82 of 1,364 evaluable patients with stage III/IV disease (6.01%) in AREN03B2; 51 enrolled in AREN0533. Median follow-up for 83 eligible patients enrolled in AREN0532/0533 was 5.73 years (range, 2.84 to 9.63 years). The 4-year EFS for patients with stage I/II and stage III/IV disease with LOH1p/16 was 87.3% (95% CI, 75.1% to 99.5%) and 90.2% (95% CI, 81.8% to 98.6%), respectively. These results are improved compared with the NWTS-5 updated 4-year EFS of 68.8% for patients with stage I/II disease ( P = .042), and 61.3% for patients with stage III/IV disease ( P = .001), with trends toward improved 4-year overall survival. The most common grade 3 or higher nonhematologic toxicities with regimen M were febrile neutropenia (39.2%) and infections (21.6%). CONCLUSION Augmentation of therapy improved EFS for patients with favorable histology Wilms tumor and LOH1p/16q compared with the historical NWTS-5 comparison group, with an expected toxicity profile.

Background Wilms tumor (WT) is the most common renal tumor in children. We describe the outcomes for patients with WT that metastasized to bone (WTBM) to assist in decision making for these uncommon patients. Procedure We retrospectively reviewed the research records of patients identified with WTBM from the National Wilms Tumor Study (NWTS 1-5) database. We then related overall survival (OS) to histology, chemotherapy, radiation therapy to bone, location of metastasis, and when bone metastasis presented. Results Thirty-eight of 8609 patients enrolled on NWTS 1-5 (0.44%) developed bone metastasis. Bone metastasis most commonly first occurred at progression or relapse (29/38, 76%). Five of thirty-eight survived (13%) with the 5-year OS following presentation of bone metastasis of 14.3% (95% CI: 2.7-25.8%). The primary cause of death was tumor (29/33, 88%). Of those who died, the median survival time was 10.9 months (range 0.49-61.4). Four of nine (44%) patients presenting at diagnosis and 3% (1/29) of patients presenting in progression or relapse survived (P = 0.0075). Nineteen percent (5/26) of patients with favorable histology and 0% (0/12) with anaplastic histology survived (P = 0.16). Of the five survivors, median follow-up was 14 years (range 6.7-23.8). Radiation to metastatic bone sites was recorded in three of five survivors. No consistent chemotherapeutic approach appeared to be associated with disease outcome. Conclusion Bone metastasis is rare in patients with WT, occurring more commonly in progression or relapse than at initial diagnosis. Patients with WTBM have poor prognosis. We could not identify a consistent chemotherapeutic strategy associated with survival.

Background The National Wilms Tumor Study (NWTS) approach to treating stage III favorable-histology Wilms tumor (FHWT) is Regimen DD4A (vincristine, dactinomycin, and doxorubicin) and radiation therapy. Further risk stratification is required to improve outcomes and reduce late effects. We evaluated clinical and biologic variables for patients with stage III FHWT without combined loss of heterozygosity (LOH) at chromosomes 1p and 16q treated in the Children’s Oncology Group protocol AREN0532. Methods From October 2006 to August 2013, 588 prospectively treated, centrally reviewed patients with stage III FHWT were treated with Regimen DD4A and radiation therapy. Tumor LOH at 1p and 16q was determined by microsatellite analysis. Ineligible patients (n = 5) and those with combined LOH 1p/16q (n = 40) were excluded. Results A total of 535 patients with stage III disease were studied. Median follow-up was 5.2 years (range, 0.2 to 9.5). Four-year event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival estimates were 88% (95% CI, 85% to 91%) and 97% (95% CI, 95% to 99%), respectively. A total of 58 of 66 relapses occurred in the first 2 years, predominantly pulmonary (n = 36). Eighteen patients died, 14 secondary to disease. A better EFS was associated with negative lymph node status ( P < .01) and absence of LOH 1p or 16q ( P < .01), but not with gross residual disease or peritoneal implants. In contrast, the 4-year EFS was only 74% in patients with combined positive lymph node status and LOH 1p or 16q. A total of 123 patients (23%) had delayed nephrectomy. Submitted delayed nephrectomy histology showed anaplasia (n = 8; excluded from survival analysis); low risk/completely necrotic (n = 7; zero relapses), intermediate risk (n = 63; six relapses), and high-risk/blastemal type (n=7; five relapses). Conclusion Most patients with stage III FHWT had good EFS/overall survival with DD4A and radiation therapy. Combined lymph node and LOH status was highly predictive of EFS and should be considered as a potential prognostic marker for future trials.

Ultra thin HfO2 films were grown by the atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique using tetrakismethylethylaminohafnium (Hf[N(CH)3 (C2H5)]4) and ozone (O3) as the precursors and subsequently exposed to various plasma conditions, i.e., CCP (capacitively coupled plasma) and MMT (modified magnetron typed plasma) in N2 or N2/O2 ambient. The conventional CCP treatment was not effective in removing the carbon impurities, which were incorporated during the ALD process, from the HfO2 films. However, according to the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements, the MMT treated films exhibited a significant reduction in their carbon contents and the efficient incorporation of nitrogen atoms. Although the incorporated nitrogen was easily released during the post-thermal annealing of the MMT treated samples, it was more effective than the CCP treatment in removing the film impurities. Consequently, the MMT treated samples exhibited excellent electrical properties as compared to the as-deposited HfO2 films, including negligible hysteresis (flatband voltage shift), a low leakage current, and the reduced equivalent oxide thickness of the gate stack. In conclusion, MMT post treatment is more effective than conventional CCP treatment in improving the electrical properties of high-k films by reducing the carbon contamination and densifying the as-deposited defective films. © 2006 Elsevier B.V. Narrow-band imaging (NBI) allows real-time histologic classification of colorectal polyps. We investigated whether endoscopists without prior training in NBI can achieve the following thresholds recommended by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy: for diminutive colorectal polyps characterized with high confidence, a ≥90% negative predictive value for adenomas in the rectosigmoid and a ≥90% agreement in surveillance intervals.Twenty-six endoscopists from 2 tertiary care centers underwent standardized training in NBI interpretation. Endoscopists made real-time predictions of diminutive colorectal polyp histology and surveillance interval predictions based on NBI. Their performance was evaluated by comparing predicted with actual findings from histologic analysis. Multilevel logistic regression was used to assess predictors of performance. Cumulative summation analysis was used to characterize learning curves.The endoscopists performed 1451 colonoscopies and made 3012 diminutive polyp predictions (74.3% high confidence) using NBI. They made 898 immediate post-procedure surveillance interval predictions. An additional 505 surveillance intervals were determined with histology input. The overall negative predictive value for high-confidence characterizations in the rectosigmoid was 94.7% (95% confidence interval: 92.6%-96.8%) and the surveillance interval agreement was 91.2% (95% confidence interval: 89.7%-92.7%). Overall, 97.0% of surveillance interval predictions would have brought patients back on time or early. High-confidence characterization was the strongest predictor of accuracy (odds ratio = 3.42; 95% confidence interval: 2.72-4.29; P.001). Performance improved over time, however, according to cumulative summation analysis, only 7 participants (26.9%) identified adenomas with sufficient sensitivity such that further auditing is not required.With standardized training, gastroenterologists without prior expertise in NBI were able to meet the negative predictive value and surveillance interval thresholds set forth by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. The majority of disagreement in surveillance interval brought patients back early. Performance improves with time, but most endoscopists will require ongoing auditing of performance. Background. To promote patient-centered care, it is important to understand the impact of sociodemographic factors on procedure choice for women undergoing postmastectomy breast reconstruction. In this context, we analyzed the effects of these variables on the reconstructive method chosen. Methods. Women undergoing postmastectomy breast reconstruction were recruited for the prospective Mastectomy Reconstruction Outcomes Consortium Study. Procedure types were divided into tissue expander-implant/direct-to-implant and abdominally based flap reconstructions. Adjusted odds ratios were calculated from logistic regression. Results. The analysis included 2,203 women with current or previous breast cancer and 202 women undergoing prophylactic mastectomy. Compared with women Conclusions. Our results indicate that sociodemographic factors affect the reconstructive procedure received. As we move forward into a new era of patient-centered care, providing tailored treatment options to reconstruction patients will likely lead to higher satisfaction and better outcomes for those we serve.
