A new systematic methodology for composite structures, a new type complex series methodology, is used to solve the bending problem of anisotropic skew plate using Ressiner first-order shear deformation theory. Using the geometric transformation, the governing differential equation and boundary conditions of the plate are transformed from the physical domain into a unit computational domain. Previously unavailable general analytical solutions are obtained for the bending of an anisotropic skew plate subjected to static loads using first-order shear deformation theory. The convergence and stability of the analytical general solution presented in the paper is tested by quantitative computation. Numerical results are presented.
