The transformations in the world economy, the globalization of information, the globalization of security issues have brought non-state powers to the position of main actors of the contemporary geopolitical phenomenon, in which transnational, international or supranational organizations play a special role. The unprecedented period of peace and stability that Europe went through at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century is due to the existence of the European Union. The European Union is a relevant actor in the international arena; the emergence of the European Union radically changed the European and global geopolitical balance. Having an extensive network of economic relations worldwide, carrying out crisis management missions and humanitarian actions, the European Union cannot be omitted from any geopolitical analysis. In a very dynamic and unpredictable global geopolitical and geoeconomic context, the European Union launched on June 20, 2023 the European Strategy for Economic Security, a strategy that emphasizes bilateral and plurilateral cooperation - in different formats and degrees of institutionalization, from the G-7 to high-level economic talks, investment partnerships and commodity clubs. The European Union wants to reduce, for the next decades, the economic risks related to dependence on China. The strategy outlines how the European Union - a key trading partner for both China and the United States - is trying to manage its economic dependence on Beijing and avoid the kind of economic rupture with Russia that followed the invasion of Ukraine. The paper aims to analyze what China's "risk reduction" means for Europe and, at the same time, to understand how the European Union's approach to economic security will shape future relations in terms of geopolitics and geoeconomics at the international and regional level. Under the dispute between China and the United States, the international field of public opinion is dominated by increasing tensions, and the network rumors triggered by the COVID-19 epidemic are intensifying. In view of the above-mentioned context, this paper focuses on the development and the evolution process of public opinions. Since the evolution of public opinion is often accompanied by the spread and diffusion of information, this paper combines the process of information diffusion with the development process of polarization behavior, and brings in the dynamic network and the timeliness factor of public opinion dissemination, so as to better explore the polarization process of public opinion under the dynamic network. Then, this paper focuses on the analysis of the parameters of the model and through the dynamic adjustment of parameters, finding out the main factors that affect the trend and development of network public opinion. In addition, this paper introduces an actual case, and takes the actual case data as the support to demonstrate the reliability and practical application value of the model. Finally, based on the simulation results and analysis of actual cases, this paper puts forward the corresponding preventive measures to alleviate the polarization behavior of the group. Fiscal policy is the use of government spending and taxation to influence the economy. The impact of COVID-19 pandemic requested fiscal measures. The purpose of this paper was to analyse the research of tax and fiscal policy in response to COVID-19 crisis with bibliometrics. For this, we extracted data on the subject from the Web of Science Core Collection. To identify the most relevant sources, the most cited papers, or the most frequent keywords on the subject reasearched, we have used the R software version 4.1.3, RStudio Desktop version 2022.02.0+443, and the package Bibliometrix. The results show that 639 researchers published 235 articles in 158 journals. This analyse revealed that Intertax is the journal with the most numerous papers published. This paper describes the bibliometric analysis of control based on active disturbance rejection. The research was conducted in the Scopus database to identify academic participation on this topic. Based on a theoretical framework that resulted in 1268 articles from 1993 to 2022, networks of co-occurrences, co-authorships and actor countries were mapped, which made explicit the relationships in space and time, highlighting the countries France, the United States and China. The research becomes relevant for academia and civil society by highlighting research in emerging countries with different approaches and the possibility of gaining synergy with knowledge sharing, as well as best practices applied worldwide for the management of information systems in the field of automatic process control. An increasing number of companies have established brand pages on social media to build brand loyalty. Prior studies have mainly focused on the independent impacts of brand identification and identification with other users of brand pages on brand loyalty. However, the current study investigates whether the relative impacts of brand identification and identification with other users of brand pages on brand loyalty vary according to consumers' regulatory focus. In particular, we further verify the difference between the two types of brand loyalty. Besides, the moderating effects of product type on the relationship between promotion/prevention regulatory fit and brand loyalty are explored. Finally, this study uses different combinations of IT affordances to explore their influences on -two identification targets. This research adopts a qualitative methodology and involves conducting semi-structured interviews with 27 brand page users in regard to IT affordances and their subdimensions. Then, the authors tested their hypotheses with survey data collected from the United States and China. The results support our hypotheses and confirm the differential effects of promotion and prevention regulatory fit on brand loyalty. The purpose of the paper is to identify the links and connections among main themes of the search i.e., Mobile Technologies, Service Quality and Healthcare. It also aims at identifying the valuable contributions from authors, journals, countries, and institutions in the searched area. Data has been extracted from Scopus database and it covers the timeline from 2005 to 2021. The final documents (n=245) have been analysed through VOSviewer software and MS Excel. Results show that Guo, X., International Journal of Medical Informatics, Harbin Institute of Technology, China and United States are top performing author, journal, institution and countries respectively. According to the results for collaborations and associations, Bhuiya A., United States and Mobile Healthcare are the most prominent author, country and keyword with highest score of total link strength (TLS). Findings suggested important and valuable avenues for future research directions in terms of underperforming countries, under-utilized subject areas and under-explored themes (keywords). The outbreak of the COVID-19 in 2020 has a severe impact on all countries. This paper first studies the impact of the epidemic on the macro-economy in China, which is one of the countries with early epidemic situation, in the rapid development stage of the epidemic situation, and the specific performance in macro-economy aspects. On this basis, study the development trend and macroeconomic performance of the United States as one of the most serious countries, and the relationship between the epidemic development and macro-economy in the United States. As for the differences in epidemic control measures between China and the US, China's indicators are significant in terms of sentiment factors, but the impact of COVID-19 on the sentiment factors in the US is different. The Chinese government has not adopted unlimited easing and maintained consistent policies. At present, the economic impact of COVID-19 on the US is far greater than that of China. Geopolitical analysis of the policies of the great powers over and in the Balkans in the period of three years is the object of this paper. The author initiates by retelling an event in 2019, indicative of one of the two theses of the text, namely that the US has returned to the Balkans. The second is the assumption, originally launched by the Russian geopolitician Dugin, that the Balkans are one of two monitors of world politics. The text is divided into five chapters. In the introductory part, the author defines his hypothesis and opts for Italian neoclassical geopolitical thought as a theoretical framework. The second chapter overviews basic socio-historical and geographical features of the Peninsula relevant for geopolitical understanding, while the third part of the text puts local political action of both external and internal actors into a broader geopolitical context. The fourth part is the most extensive and represents an overview of the most significant political actions of the great powers - Russia, the United States and China, and Germany, Turkey, and local countries. The conclusive part answers positively to Dugin's assumption and confirms the thesis that great powers' politics in the Balkans has regained importance for the US. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present paper aims to apply to a current international politics situation an application from the Game Theory in order to explain the situation and find a possible resolution to the political and economic deadlock that will be able to bring more stability in the international system and security on financial markets. This paper is an attempt to analyze Russia's regional political place and power in Northeast Asia through the US-China-Russia triangularity and toforecast the future of Russia's place in the region by applying the basic logic and concepts of social network theory such as "social capital " and "structural hole. " From Russia's perspective, the structural hole that formulated as a result of its own de-link strategy in the 1990s has developed into a determining factor in disabling Russia from regaining its position and influence in the Northeast Asian region. To overcome this obstacle, Russia has continuously developed its diplomatic strategies and reviewed the potential fo r cooperating with the US. Nonetheless, the US-Russian rivalry and competition at the global level is severely damaging an opportunity for the coming of a stable and cooperative order in Northeast Asia. However, the works of the US utilizing Russia without excluding China, and establishment of a vision for a regional order in the context of fostering stability and cooperation will become an utmost important factor in developing peace and co-prosperity in Northeast Asia. The Obama administration and the Abbott government stood together in the new military coalition in Iraq and joined in the trade push for a Trans-Pacific Partnership. Australia's Defence White Paper, about to be released, will be a strong and detailed statement of support for the alliance with the US. Yet, the discussion of the US-Australia relationship often turned into a debate about China. The notable political difference between Obama and Abbott in the past 12 months was over climate change. The US president highlighted the policy difference in a speech during the G20 Summit that Abbott hosted in Brisbane. The other divergence between Australia and the US was over China's creation of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Abstract: The United States, China''s biggest export market, is planning to impose a carbon tariff against countries without strict GHG emissions reduction standards, which will necessarily have immense influence on China''s export trade. In this dissertation, its background and imposing methods are initially discussed. Impact on China''s export trade volume, commodity prices, various industrial sectors, foreign investment manner, corporate operation modes and so forth are then analyzed explicitly. The "balance of financial terror," first coined by Lawrence Summers in 2004 in the context of U.S.-China relations, characterizes the situation when one country owns such a significant portion of another country's national debt that it is unclear which country more credibly threatens the other. Debtors threaten to devalue their currency while creditors threaten to dump the debt, putting both countries in a precarious balance. Using game theory, this paper finds that the balance of financial terror perpetuates because neither the creditor nor the debtor country can unilaterally change the status quo without massive retaliation. Under a sequential move scenario, the balance is likely to perpetuate until some external factor raises the payoffs to unilateral change for one country. Alternatively, if the relationship were to transform from a sequential into a simultaneous game, the iterated elimination of dominated strategies suggests that the balance could collapse as creditors and debtors rush to preempt the worst-case scenario moves of the other side. For the case of the United States and China, factors that could upset the balance include quantitative easing by the Federal Reserve, which could reduce the payoff for holding U.S. debt. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, has instigated immediate and massive worldwide research efforts. Rapid publication of research data may be desirable but also carries the risk of quality loss.Objective: This analysis aimed to correlate the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak with its related scientific output per country.Methods: All articles related to the COVID-19 pandemic were retrieved from Web of Science and analyzed using the web application SciPE (science performance evaluation), allowing for large data scientometric analyses of the global geographical distribution of scientific output.Results: A total of 7185 publications, including 2592 articles, 2091 editorial materials, 2528 early access papers, 1479 letters, 633 reviews, and other contributions were extracted. The top 3 countries involved in COVID-19 research were the United States, China, and Italy. The confirmed COVID-19 cases or deaths per region correlated with scientific research output. The United States was most active in terms of collaborative efforts, sharing a significant amount of manuscript authorships with the United Kingdom, China, and Italy. The United States was China's most frequent collaborative partner, followed by the United Kingdom.Conclusions: The COVID-19 research landscape is rapidly developing and is driven by countries with a generally strong prepandemic research output but is also significantly affected by countries with a high prevalence of COVID-19 cases.
