Chapter 4 of the book "Introduction to Homeland Security," Second Edition, by Jane A. Bullock, George D. Haddow and Damon Coppola is presented. It discusses the hazards that are related to terrorism in the U.S. It presents the four main categories of hazards including chemical, biological, radiological/nuclear and explosive (CBRNE). It explores the differences of these new hazards and the more traditional ones. It focuses on the difficulty of predicting terrorist attacks in the nation.
