Abstract

The article discusses as study examining the inhibitory effects of oral administration of basidiomycete fungus Grifola frondosa polysaccharides (GFP) on atopic dermatitis (AD)-like skin lesion. Topics discussed include use of Grifola frondosa as traditional medicines and health supplementary foods, analysis of effects of GFP on the 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene-induced AD-like skin lesion in NC/ Nga mice, and reduction in the dorsa skin dermatitis score and combination treatment with GFP.
