Patients undergoing successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for acute coronary syndromes (ACS) with normal left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) are generally considered to have successful clinical outcomes; however, there are still significant differences in clinical outcomes among these patients. The aim of the study was to find a common indicator to predict the risk of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) in this population.

Sex and age may affect the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease, such as cardiovascular risk factors, treatment and prognosis, but this information is not well known.

Background The combined use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) with palliative chemotherapy (PCT) is a promising first-line treatment for de novo metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (mNPC). However, the efficacy of ICIs with PCT vs PCT with definitive radiation therapy (DRT) remain unclear.Methods Patients with mNPC who received first-line immunochemotherapy (ICI + PCT) or PCT + DRT were included. Propensity score matching (PSM) was applied to balance potential confounders between patients who did and did not undergo DRT (at a ratio of 1:1). Progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were compared between the 2 groups using a log-rank test and Cox proportional hazard model.Results Among all participants, 149 received ICI + PCT. After PSM, 149 patients were included in the PCT + DRT group. First-line immunochemotherapy was associated with significantly improved PFS (median 9.0 months vs 12.0 months, P < .001) and OS (median 12.5 months vs 19.9 months, P < .001). Subgroup analysis revealed that tumor response to immunochemotherapy, metastatic organs, and number of metastatic sites potentially affected the efficacy of DRT after first-line immunochemotherapy.Conclusion Compared with PCT + DRT, first-line immunochemotherapy was associated with improved PFS and OS in patients with mNPC but not in patients with unfavorable tumor response and metastasis involving the liver, distant nodes, or multiple sites.

To observe the clinical efficacy of interaction acupuncture combining with routine acupuncture for intractable facial palsy. A total of 60 eligible cases were randomly allocated into a treatment group (n=30) and a control group (n=30). Cases in the treatment group received interaction and routine acupuncture, whereas cases in the control group received routine acupuncture alone. The treatment was done once a day and 10 times made up a course of treatment. The patients were treated for a total of 3 courses and there were no intervals between two courses. The total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group (including 17 recovery cases, 11 improvement cases and 2 failure cases), versus 76.7% in the control group (including 8 recovery cases, 15 improvement cases and 7 failure cases), showing a statistical difference (P<0.05). Combining interaction and routine acupuncture can obtain better effect than routine acupuncture alone for intractable facial palsy. 观察运动针法结合常规针刺治疗顽固性面瘫的临床疗效。 将60 例顽固性面瘫患者按照随 机数字表法随机分为治疗组和对照组, 每组30 例。治疗组采用运动针法结合常规针刺治疗, 对照组仅采用常规 针刺治疗, 隔日治疗1 次, 10 次为1 疗程, 治疗3 个疗程后进行疗效评定。 治疗组治愈17 例, 有效11 例, 无 效2 例, 总有效率93.3%; 对照组治愈8 例, 有效15 例, 无效7 例, 总有效率76.7%, 差异具有统计学意义 (P<0.05)。 运动针法结合常规针刺治疗顽固性面瘫疗效优于常规针刺治疗。

Multiple longitudinal unified times are spread out laterally by this paper through analysis on ancient Greek temples, ancient Romanesque arched architecture, Gothic churches, domed architecture and other western classical architectural forms in various historical periods, and five types of relations between architectural forms and structures are found out through summarization in combination with contemporary technological characteristics. The conclusion is that harmonic coexistence of technology and art can be truly achieved through architectural form creation on basis of respect to the laws of structural science and through active cooperation between architects and structural engineers.

The modes of structural tectonic methods are proposed and the mode of creative cooperation by architects and structural engineers in the conceptual design stage for giving full play to their respective advantages are encouraged for joint design of architectural forms that meet structural safety requirements by this paper through analysis on functions and positions of structures in the architectural form framework system.The key function of observing the principle of structural correctness in the modes of architectural form design based on structural safety requirements is made clear.
