The mother is traditionally the primary caregiver for the child, and uncertainty is a major source of psychological distress for parents of sick children. As a result, the current study sought to investigate the impact of an educational program on illness uncertainty in mothers of children with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). This is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design, involving 40 mothers of children with IDDM. After visiting the research site and recruiting eligible mothers, the researcher used the purposive sampling method to randomly assign them to one of two intervention and control groups. Taking into account their needs and conditions, mothers were scheduled for at least three sessions, with a 30-minute interval every other day. The data analysis revealed no significant differences between the two groups in terms of child age and gender, mother age and education level, number of children, and duration of diabetes. There was a significant difference in the total score of uncertainty, total score of ambiguity, lack of clarity, lack of information, unpredictability, and their dimensions between mothers of diabetic children before and after the intervention (P=0.02). Based on the findings, it is recommended that the educational needs of children and their mothers be assessed upon admission and that educational content be prepared and taught accordingly, thereby helping to reduce illness uncertainty in mothers. The smart tourism concept emerged from smart city development and is a particular application area within smart city initiatives. Smart tourism is broadly applied as a strategic tool to enhance the competitiveness of tourism destinations. This study creates a framework to identify, explore, and rate the effective factors of developing smart tourism destinations. The effective factors were identified through a review of the research literature and by surveying experts. The identified factors were rated using an interpretative-structural modelling approach. A Cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) analysis was used to determine the power and dependence of these factors. The findings show 20 indexes at ten levels. Financial resources, government support, and smart tourism policies were identified as the most important factors in modelling smart tourism development. By identifying effective factors for developing smart tourism destinations, the policymakers can encourage innovation of smart destinations, support smart tourism and highlight the multi-faceted contribution of smart destinations to sustainable development. Given the fact that tourism is an important sector of many national economies, it is very essential to examine the factors which can help develop successful and smart tourism experiences. The importance of developing tourism destinations through smart technologies as a strategic tool to develop tourism has persuaded many countries to explore the implementation of these destinations, their models, components, and policies. The present study proposed a model for developing online tourism services in smart tourism destinations. The model was analyzed via structural equation modeling using SPSS (version 20) and Lisrel (version 8.8). The data analysis identified 21 components in six major dimensions which can affect smart tourism development: online content quality, access to interactive online services, end-user internet service, demand for online services, the utilization rate of location-based services, and level of online services. The identified factors can help researchers gain a better understanding of the factors affecting the development of smart destinations and recognize their importance and their degree of influence and power. The main contribution of this paper was to present a new model for smart tourism destinations using the steps of grounded theory as an analytical framework. To build the model, a systematic review of articles published between 2000 and 2017 was undertaken. Strauss and Corbin's framework for grounded theory formed the basis of the review process. The first step, which was open coding, involved the collection of a group of primary concepts and the extraction of analytic categories. In axial coding, the relationship between the categories was determined. Using selective coding, all of the identified categories were integrated and built, and 6 main categories and 28 sub-categories were identified. In addition to making an important contribution to the literature regarding sustainable and smart tourism destinations, this model is likely to be of interest to policymakers to enhance their awareness of the prerequisites and strategies of developing smart tourism destination. • We use grounded-theory literature review to review smart tourism destinations literatures. • Use three stages of open, axial and selective coding for analyzing qualitative data. • Developing 6 main categories and 28 sub-categories as dimensions of the model of sustainable smart tourism destinations. • Propose a suitable model for sustainable smart tourism destinations. Aromatherapy and decoctions of lavender have been traditionally used for their anxiolytic harboring-soothing effects without proper evidence. This study aims to systematically identify and appraise systematic reviews on the anxiolytic effects of Lavandula angustifolia (lavender). The study protocol was published in PROSPERO (CRD42021279573). ISI Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Google Scholar, and PROSPERO were searched up to August 2022 without any limitation for systematic reviews studying the anxiolytic effects of lavender in humans. The report from each study as whether or not lavender was anxiolytic was considered the primary outcome. The AMSTAR II was utilized for the quality assessment. Thirty systematic reviews met the inclusion criteria, fifteen of which conducted meta-analyses. All studies were published after 2010 and reported promising effects through different methods of lavender administration—namely: inhalation, massage, and oral routes—on anxiety relief. Oral doses of 80 mg and 160 mg were both effective, the higher dose being more efficient. The studies were conducted on various subjects, including preoperative patients, cardiovascular patients, hemodialysis patients, cancer patients, dental patients, and women in pre-labor. When assessed by AMSTAR II, four studies were of high quality, one had medium quality, and the rest were of low or critically low quality. No major adverse event was reported. Lavender has shown promising potential for anxiety in various settings. Lavender was effective when inhaled, used as a massage oil, or taken orally. The oral route was the preferred long-term option and inhalation was recommended for the short term. Technology roadmapping is a planning tool that plays a key role in technology, innovation and R&D decisions in range of business, industry and national levels and shows the path for development of required skills. As technology development engine in late industrialized countries is technological learning rather than innovation, we observe that the considerations and requirements of technology development in developing countries have been neglected in current published literature on technology roadmaps. In this paper, by introducing technological learning as an appropriate analysis level for technology roadmapping in developing countries, the main components of technological learning including technological capabilities (TCs) and catch up strategy have been identified and efforts have been made to integrate these components in the ordinary technology roadmap architectures and thereby introduce an appropriate architecture for industries in developing countries. This paper is intended to see whether the model of genetic algorithm can be used in developing a support system for the proper allocation of resources to help library heads of university. The research population consisted of students, personnel, and faculty members of Tarbyat Modares University in 2011 with 2437, 1105, and 555 people respectively, and the sample consisting of 92 graduate students, 83 post-graduate students, 82 faculty members and 88 personnel. The main tool of the research is a researcher-made questionnaire. The data of the central library of a university as the main core of DSS includes costs and time of accessing information services, and the time spent for preparing them systemically and physically, gathered through the questionnaire. The findings on the questionnaire indicated the present status of library services, and the findings received from the software indicated the optimum status in providing the services. Today, SOA has created the opportunities to improve agility and speed in matching business needs with information technology infrastructure. Since the organization in the process of using this technology faces many challenges and may spend a lot of energy and despite huge investments, failure, therefore need to implement a model for SOA governance that based on a gradual approach and SOA maturity of the organization determine what actions they do to move toward SOA. Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent and potential correlates of sexual risk-taking behaviors among adolescent boys aged 15–18 in metropolitan Tehran. Methods: Data were collected from a population-based, cross-sectional survey of adolescent males (ages 15–18) residing in Tehran, Iran. Of 1385 subjects, 382 reported sexual experience (27.7%). The article is mainly considering sexually experienced subjects. Two factors were considered as sexual risk-taking behavior (“not using condom or inconsistent condom use in sexual contacts” and “ever had multiple sexual partners in lifetime.” Several other factors were considered as independent variables and their relations were assessed using t test, χ2 test, and logistic regression models. Results: Having no access to Internet, feeling regretful at sexual debut, having one sexual partner in lifetime and lower knowledge of condoms are predictors of condom non-use. Older age, using alcoholic drinks, early sexual debut, and poor knowledge of reproductive physiology are predictors of multiple sexual partners among adolescent boys aged 15–18 years. Conclusion: Appropriate interventional programs should be implemented for adolescents in Iran to encourage and enable them to delay first sex and abstain unwanted and unplanned penetrative sex, to stress the health risks of alcohol use in terms of sexual health and finally to enhance their knowledge on different aspects of reproductive health particularly prevention against STI/HIV.
