Abstract

The article features the role of Gene expression profiling in therapeutic target identification. Also the role of gene expression profiling studies on breast and ovarian cancer patients is highlighted with the investigation of hormonal and chemotherapeutic responses. It is concluded that the micro array studies have helped in understanding of the genetic aspects of the disease, which can lead to targeted therapies in future.
