Reduction electric furnace slag, quartz sand and soapstone were used as the raw materials for preparation of glass-ceramics according to their compositions and characteristics. Differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy were used to investigate the crystallization mechanism, microstructure and main mechanical properties of slag glass-ceramics with different mass ratios of MgO/Al2O3. The exothermic peaks of the DTA curves shift to higher temperature with the decrease of MgO/Al2O3 ratio. And along with the decreasing of the MgO/Al2O3, the crystallization of the glass-ceramics also decreased. The bending strength can reach 153.09MPa when the MgO/Al2O3 ratio is 3.03.

Slag glass-ceramics were successfully prepared by cold pressing sintering method in different atmospheres from metallurgical solid wastes. The evolution of crystal microstructure and crystalline phase transition of slag glass-ceramics was investigated by thermo-gravimetric analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) coupled with Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). The results indicate that the Na2O composition plays the role of decreasing the crystallization temperature to some extent. Iron oxides make the glass frits have a high driving force to crystallize. This oxidation of ferrum will postpone the process of densification and deteriorate the mechanical properties of product. On the other hand, the slag glass-ceramic products can obtain novel mechanical performance when the samples were sintered under nitrogen atmosphere.

Do the research of acidic zinc chloride treatment system to achieve poplar APMP with chemical swelling. The research showed that acidic zinc chloride can effectively swelling poplar APMP pulp, increase the fiber volume and loose the structure, acting concentrated in the amorphous region of the fiber which can help the penetration of chemicals and products of the dissolution. Because the differences of processing system pH and ionic effect, acidic zinc chloride combined alkaline hydrogen peroxide treatment can produce swelling synergistic effect.

Factors such as density and confining pressure effect on the compressive strength were analyzed by comparing the experimental results under different conditions, the parameters of Cambridge model were worked out with the data from consolidation test.

Bentonite is usually used as the material to buffer and backfill in the deep geological disposal of radioactive waste area.Compression properties of bentonite are important parameters in the evaluation of bentonite.Through the consolidation experiment indoor, the change of void ratio in different pressure and the compression of bentonite of GMZ are concluded. The gotten compression feature have a great significance to the judgment of compression index of the bentonite in GMZ.

Liquid extrusion, as a new kind of metal forming process for shaping tube and bar products directly from liquid metal, can reduce the intermediate steps and production costs and make the materials doubly strengthened. But it has not been widely used since the process parameters are now selected by experience, which can easily result in a high reject rate. In order to analyze the contributing factors of the process, the artificial neural network method was used in this paper. The network architecture was determined by adopting 125 sets of experimental data of the shaping tubes of AlCuSiMg alloy as samples and, by contrast, one or two hidden layers and the numbers of nodes and other network parameters. The knowledge base for the process parameters of liquid extrusion has been established. The values predicted by the knowledge base are very consistent with the practical ones. The result shows that the introduced method is feasible and effective.
