Gut microbiota community shift with coronary artery disease (CAD) has been reported in several limited cohorts during the past several years. However, whether the enriched or decreased microbiota taxa with CAD can be reproducible deserves further investigation and validation. In this study, 78 human subjects were recruited. Of these, 19 were diagnosed without stenosis in coronary artery (control group, referred to herein as Ctrl), 14 with stenosis less than 50% (LT50), and 45 with stenosis greater than 50% (GT50). Fecal samples were collected and DNA was extracted to perform 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene sequencing. The operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were analyzed to identify taxa specific to different groups; next, multivariate logistic regression was employed to test whether the defined taxa could independently predict CAD risk. We found that Deltaproteobacteria, Fusobacterium, Bilophila, Actinomyces, and Clostridium XIXwere enriched in Ctrl; Prevotellaceae, Parabacteriodes, and Butyricicoccuswere enriched in LT50; and Roseburiaand Butyricimonaswere enriched in GT50. Further analysis revealed that increased populations of Deltaproteobacteria, Fusobacterium, Bilophila, and Desulfovibrionaceae were associated with a 0.26-fold, 0.21-fold, 0.18-fold, and 0.26-fold decreased risk of CAD, respectively (p < 0.05), and an increased Prevotellaceae population was associated with a 5.63-fold increased risk of CAD (p < 0.01). A combination of the 20 microbial taxa achieved an area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of higher than 0.88 for all discriminations between LT50 vs Ctrl, GT50 vs Ctrl, LT50 + GT50 vs Ctrl, and GT50 vs Ctrl + LT50. However, the microbial taxa previously reported as enriched in CAD patients or healthy controls could not be observed in our cohort except for Bacteroides. In conclusion, CAD patients showed a different microbial taxa signature than the healthy controls. However, the non-reproducibility of the microbiota taxa enriched in CAD across different cohorts limits the use of this signature in early diagnosis and prevention. Only decreased Bacteroidesabundance was found to be a reliable marker to indicate CAD progression.

A high-performance liquid chromatography method was set up for rapid determination of formaldehyde in dried bean milk cream. This thesis studies the Nash derivatization, derivative solubility, reaction time, amounts of Nash and derivative stability. The derivative is chromatographic separated by Agilent Zorbax Eclipse XDB-C18 column (4.6mm× 250mm, 5μm) and detected by index detector with VWD (412nm). The heater does not need the temperature-controlling system. A mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile and water (50:50, V/V) at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/min. Under the conditions of the above-mentioned test, the developed calibration curves displayed good linearity over a concentration range of 0.00 to 0.80mg/L, with a correlation coefficient exceeding 0.9998. Average spike recovery was found in a range of 88% to 91%, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) between 1.1% and 4.0%.The minimum detection limit of source is 0.013mg/Kg. The method can be used for rapid test on formaldehyde preservative in dried bean milk cream.

Na-bentonite(NB)/poly(2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonicacid)(AMPS) composite were prepared as an adsorbent for the removal of Pb (Ⅱ) from aqueous solutions. Pb (II) adsorption on the composite is a fast process and follows well the pseudo-second-order kinetics. The FTIR spectra indicate NB and poly(AMPS) are simultaneously operating, and chelation should be the dominating adsorption mechanism.

Na-bentonite/poly AMPS composite were prepared as an adsorbent for the removal of Pb (Ⅱ) from aqueous solutions. Pb (Ⅱ) adsorption experiments show the optimum pH and the bentonite content are pH 4.0 and 5g Na-bentonite /10g AMPS, respectively. Experimental data were described by Langmuir and Freundlih isotherms, and the correlation coefficient (R2) shows that the adsorption follows the Freundlich adsorption model.

This paper reports NiO/γ-Al2O3 photocatalysts have well photocatalytic degradation capacity. NiO/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by Ni(NO3)2•6H2O,γ-Al2O3 with the impregnation method, and treated by the plasma-assisted, which were characterized by XRD, FT-IR,BET and other analytical tools. The influence factors of methyl orange degradation efficiency were analyzed under the 250W high-pressure mercury lamp.

Some functional azobenzene derivatives with aromatic substituted groups have been synthesized and their photoisomerization have also been investigated. It has been found that depending on different substituted groups, such as phenyl or naphthyl segments, the formed azobenzene derivatives showed different properties, indicating distinct regulation of molecular skeletons. Spectral data confirmed commonly the characteristic absorption of substituted groups and aromatic segments in molecular structures. In addition, the photoisomerization of all compounds in solution can show trans-to-cis photoisomerization by UV light irradiation, and demonstrate distinct isomerization ratio depending on effect of different substituted headgroups. The difference is mainly attributed to the aromatic substituted headgroups and methyl group in molecular structure. The present results have showed that the special properties of azobenzene derivatives could be effectively turned by modifying molecular structures of objective compounds with proper substituted groups, which show potential application in sensor and functional material field.

A novel benzo [1,5] oxazepin-4-one skeleton compound and its four derivatives were synthesized effectively from 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (DFDNB) under mild conditions. In the process, four intermediates were synthesized by substitutions of the two fluorine atoms and reductions of the meta-dinitro groups in DFDNB respectively. The results showed that the key for synthesizing the intermediates was the substitution of one of the two fluorine atoms in DFDNB by 3-hydroxy butyric acid ethyl ester first, then the other fluorine atom by morpholine, and then the reduction of the meta-dinitro groups in the substitute by HCOONH4 with Pd/C. The products were purified with silica gel column chromatography, and confirmed by HPLC, LC–MS and 1H NMR. They should contribute to construct the molecular libraries for therapeutic applications.

Three fluorescent indocyanines containing p-carboxybenzyl groups on N atoms in the heterocyclic rings were synthesized under supersonic. The maxima wavelength of the absorption and emission of the dyes were 550–800nm in water. Compared with those in aqueous solutions, the fluorescence intensity of the dyes in the α/β-cyclodextrin, Al3+, Zn2+, Sn2+ or the α/β-cyclodextrin in the aqueous solutions of the cations became stronger. The crystal shapes of the dyes and their cyclodextrin inclusions were mostly acicular or polygon. The NHS-carboxyl squarylium indocyanine was prepared and used to conjugate with taurine or benzylamine, the results indicated that the dyes could couple covalently to biomass containing free NH2 group. Structure and some thermal parameters of the molecule of the trimethine cyanine were obtained by DFT method of Gaussian 03.
